Out of curiosity, what’s your beef with JQ? Assuming you have one. Maybe you just enjoy talking smack. You disappeared from the forums for 4ish months then popped up again about a month ago and have posted flames directed at JQ and FOO almost exclusively.

What’s funny is I don’t think you actually play on any of the current T1 servers.

No it’s because with the AC buff, JQ can’t flip towers/keeps like they used to. Now it actually pays to be on the defensive.

Earlier today on SoR bl at Bluelake, watched a zerg comprised of FOO and FIRE cata our gate down but couldn’t go anywhere near it with three ACs wreaking havoc on them.

The zerg didn’t know what to do and then WM came from Hills and wiped them.

Well from what I have seen the past few days. JQ does not have much of force after NA prime time at the moment. I jumped between maps to see what has been going on and only one only a couple of fields had some what of a player base. 2 were pretty much empty.
Either a lot of people are taking a break for a week or the AC buff has kittened off a lot people. Who knows. It is not like you get anything for winning anyways.

You should see him at Lion’s Arch on JQ. He does the same there for many hours a day. And when BG loses he is offline for weeks.

If I was a shrink I would tell him to see one at once.

It’s best to let FOO/Atm and all the mandarin guilds work their own stuff out instead of constantly posting about them on the forums. This is the one and only thing I will say about the mandarin guilds because I am doing what anyone respectable should and letting them work it out themselves.

nah it’s something more serious, the Chinese Alliance is gone, until JQ can fill its SEA gap, the remaining SEA guilds won’t be able to compete with BG and its new guilds.

of course guys like Stei will say ‘our pve force is gonna help us’ to keep the morale up,
while it is still possible, but that’s very unlikely…

I wish FOO and/or the Chinese alliance will be back in force soon. The game is not as exciting without them.

Most people around here are respectful (yes I said it). The trolls just have louder voices.

Believe me when I say the opposing OCE/SEA players definitely want a healthy FOO and JQ Chinese/SEA/OCE population. A big reason they keep coming out and playing this game hard is for the excellent competition FOO brought out each night. NA is a no brainer. There’s always going to be competition there. But it can be a different story in other time zones, and no competition can lead to boredom and to players potentially walking away from the game.

Hopefully things get cleared up relatively soon. I’m sure they will. Strong as before though? I guess time will tell, but change is good for the game.

Agreed,

FOO have been nothing but class both on and off the battlefield and have been one of the most dominating guilds to ever be in tier 1.

It’s poor form to kick a guild while it’s down, especially one as influential as FOO.

Too bad the SEA contingent from KN didn’t go to SoR with the NA contingent going to BG. I think we would have a really great match going now with all three servers.

What he’s trying to get is apart from your own server no one else likes jade quarry. You have destroyed a lot of servers through legitimate and illegitimate means alike and pretty much everyone hates you for it. You also created the bandwagon super server concept that every t1 server has to commit to just to stay competitive and avoid getting steam rolled.

Props to you for winning every week, just don’t expect to be universally loved for it.

I don’t like the whole mega ultra super dooper zerg server thing either. There have been servers stacked for a long time and JQ wasn’t the first to start this trend. At the end of the day its up to Anet to fix the issue and it could be fixed pretty easily. Maybe go share your anger about it with them.

Nah, it was on JQ to spread out a bit. But it was so much fun loafing to victory, why not just coast till another sos gets formed up? Maybe BG will be a more responsible overlord..

There will never be another SoS.

SoS was a unique server and one of the reasons for it’s success was it’s vast player base of Oceanics that was unlimited, unlike any other server.

It was in tier 2 in early GW2, but it’s American guilds abandoned the server for greener pastures, leaving the majority of SoS players with PvDoor in tier 3-4 and frustratingly the American servers that faced us also only saw our doors as we had no Americans.

It wasn’t until some of the most powerful NA guilds to ever be in GW2, came to SoS and rebuilt the NA from scratch that, this included AOI, Tsym from Dragonband and PRX one of the last TA guilds to transfer off HoD.

What we had then was an amazing friendly community, I don’t know what it is about Americans and Aussies, but they always seem to blend well together in online communities.

On SoS there was a real willingness to work together and professionalism in how we went about it. The high standards were brought from the new NA guilds, and they that helped improve the rest of the players on the server.

SoS was never stacked, every victory was hard earned, JQ evolved (FOO become a power) and adapted to SoS’s tactics and caught up, but it was the massive influx of transfers just before close of free transfers that killed the competition in tier 1.

JQ has never been even close to being challenged until a new look BG came back to tier 1. And even then overall it has been largely easy for JQ.

KN guilds transferring is really shaking up tier 1, I just hope that the competition is close, I don’t care who wins, I just want WvW to be interesting, and I’ve wanted this for a very long time now, even when I was on SoS and they were still winning.

I have been on JQ since release and have been most impressed with the attitude of our wvw crew when we are losing. It’s easy to be classy when you’re winning, but harder to fight on win OR lose. All the current T1 servers know that.

We need every single player—both allies and enemies—so let’s keep it clean and leave the fighting for the battlefield where it belongs.

We keep hearing how the JQ NA crew always takes it easy because they don’t have to push ever to keep their win intact. Looking at the scores….when are they going to start playing and pushing again during the NA time slot? I’m just not seeing it…

This was just one of JQ’s many excuses in order to try and convince people they had the best NA timezone. when clearly they didn’t.

As you can see when they actually need points for a win they still tick around 150-200 during NA times just like usual.

I’d say it was 45 on our side; 20 WM, 15 MERC + 10 Militia vs ~ 35 – was wondering if it was a distraction for a golem rush on garrie but I think it turned into an kitten battle with arrowcarts being spammed and us running with the mostly hammer chain squad. But I’m not going to beat-chest about it like another server… cough (not JQ), but regardless it was a long kitten fight.

JQ, if you lose, there won’t be any siege griefer to try and blame this time around. You still have the largest population of any server in the game both in PvE and WvW. Mobilize those people. Sorry it isn’t easy mode for you all any more and that you may actually have to try; I know that isn’t what you all signed up for.
