Tell Purimm thanks for posting that warrior build. I’d been playing around with a similar idea in spvp (sword/shield + longbow, shaman’s amulet), but I’d never thought to try using banners. Mind=blown.

We’re still making tweeks to it, but I love banners. Perma swift + a leap + blast finisher.

Yeah, that build was definitely interesting. Enough so to actually make me sit here and theory-craft about it at work.

I think I’m going to swap out the geomancy sigil on the longbow to a doom sigil. It seems the build plays most comfortably at medium range (900 range is the radius for traited banner buffs, as well as the max range to connect with a savage leap + shield bash combo). By the time I’ve hit the combo to get up close, flurried, then moved back to medium range via shield stance or leap, the opponents tend to be panicked from all the conditions and desperately trying to hit their heals. Dropping aoe poison on them with an arcing shot at that point seems like it would be brutal.

As for banners, any particular reason you guys chose banner of discipline over banner of defense? The aoe fury is nice, but I think the extra vit/tough would be clutch against a zerg. Then again, you guys didn’t seem to have any trouble surviving in that video, so the extra defense might be a bit overkill.

If you wanna start bringing AoE healing/buff banner warrior, I am okay with that.

Me, play a build that actually helps the group? NEVAR!

yeah that was me.. you were the upleveled ranger i killed once in front of lake.. then we waved.. you danced.. i bowed and we killed sentry and went south camp.. sorry you got mauled.. i saw it coming but thats to be expected in wvw of course..

and according to a BRL sylvari thief, i use speed hacks.. did you see me use any speed hacks? just curious. If i did i must have used them without my knowledge.

- Actually got a few fun fights roaming around last night. I hate having to fish solo people out of DR and GoM zergs though.

Ive lost some respect for NSP after they came into our sunny hill tower to try and get our trebs down WITHOUT sieging it down. I cant believe a tM was was joining, I dont know how they got in with or without hack it is not cool.

That in the picture is me and before you go and complain on the forums becuase something happened which shouldnt of how about you address the problem by talking to the person about it, i wasnt even aware you could even do this ‘glitch’ in, i was fighting a necro outside and he zoned in mid way through my HS, i was as surprised as you when i ended up inside your tower. So much so i died instantly, i was ressed and instead of go around attacking everyone i made my way upstiars and ran over the wall, what you see there is me healing and running to save my own skin. after that happen i questioned people near mean who saw it at the time and they informed me its possible. So Apologies on my behalf, didnt intend to.

Yes to both, but I was the one with the mowhawk (just cuz there were two sylvari mesmers)

I was the human female mesmer but uhh, not really lookin for a rematch. I only use my mesmer for PvE nowadays. =(

Yeah it happened to a lot of people, can’t blame the players for unintentional/accidental exploits. Its just the anet bugs/glitches or the programming still a little off.

Ive been lucky enough that I haven’t seen anyone abuse it, but yea its been a known bug for a while that does need fixed.

This movie is on my support hammer/staff guardian. It’s been a few months since I’ve played my guardian this much, so my timing and positioning is off here and there.

Crank (from BSty) has a movie up as well. I think we killed the NSP Anet developer around 10 times that night. Gotta admit though, running around with the Anet icon on an upscale takes HUGE kittens. :P

Hey! The weekly Thursday Fight Club will be taking place and everyone is welcome!

Location – Devona’s Rest Borderlands, under Champion’s Demense camp.
Time – 8 PM EST (at Daily reset). PM me ASAP if you need a time conversation to your immediate time.

Standard Tipes/Rules:
- /bow before each duel
- Duel ends when the opposing player is downed
- Any interruptions made towards any duel should be warned and mentioned to the player(s) from the same server. If they continue interrupting, please be advised that the opposing servers should and are allowed to down the player(s) to further continue more constant dueling. Finishing a player is absolutely unnecessary.
- Team duels can be organized through party, although, each team should have equal amounts to ensure proper play and unneeded use of excuse. Every person who is taking part of the duel must /bow, when everyone has, the duel starts. The duel ends when the last person of a team is downed (the previous team members must be finished before-hand).
- Items from the “Traps and Tricks” outfitter and siege weapons are not permitted.
- No Stacks are permitted. ex. Corruption, Perception, Bloodlust, Life, Luck.

Please understand that this event is for people to practice against opposing players in which they could not test their full potential in sPvP. Fight Club is also about creating friendships between servers. Hatred between players that involve prolonged detriment is strongly dis-advised and will not be tolerated.

I hope I see many people there on this event! Any questions that are needed to be answered, please whisper me before the event!

This is a common glitch throughout WvW in all servers check the other forums when people talk about it. I do agree that Anet Needs to fix it. Anet unfortunately needs to fix a few things, lol.

It’s sad that they teabag, sit on people, and simply laugh when they kill someone using 3+ guys since one or even two can’t do squat. Yes, I am talking about [RMPT] who just roam around thinking they are all big and bad. It really does show how low their self esteem is when killing a foe with 3-5 guys make them feel they are all big and bad.

Same could be said of many a server. Can’t count how many times I have been sat on, laughed at, and my favorite having a ram or treb thrown on my beautiful Norn Warrior corpse! It actually makes me laugh. Btw not familiar with that guild. You will not see many of us doing that. However, there will be a dance or two when you find yourself wiping 2 times your numbers. Consider it an emote celebration!

I do not do it and my guildies do not either (to my knowledge), but it will happen so just WP and get some buddies and go kill them and throw a golem on them – the ultimate disrespect!

Based on your previous posting I think it’s quite the opposite. You’re the one who is hurt and is posting in this thread because you yourself have a self esteem problem. You sound extremely insecure because you are constantly trying to remind us all how great you are on this forum, seeking validation as a ‘great’ player.

The fact that you needed to post that reply and attempt to put a bad word on our guild tag is evidence of the above.

Now that seige is back…they r back to trebbing Anz 24/7, trebbing our keep or using golems which fail everytime cause they dont bother to take out oil.

To gom: Dont rely heavily on seige…maybe this is why you are one of the low servers.

what are you talking about…the night where siege was bugged, we ran around wiping everything we ran across, except blue eb keep/bravo due to it having siege placements. Last few nights in EB, smaller GoM forces have been fighting off larger DR/NSP forces, yes i said GoM had a smaller force. Just because GoM has more population doesnt mean theyre all fighting against 1 server, were usually fighting nsp and dr at the same time.

Then again we can all talk out our kittens cant we, ill follow your lead =p

Add me to your contacts. I’m not sure what time I’ll get home from work tonight, but I’d love to set up another group fight with you guys with however many we have online. We’ve all been playing around with new builds in sPvP or hunting dragons for the last couple of weeks (these legendaries ain’t gonna farm themselves!), so I think our group play has gotten noticeably rusty. Some tough scrims against you guys would go a long way to getting us back in form for the next match-up.

There’s still a good chance that we’ll face NSP again either next week or very soon, so if this is too last-minute to set something up, no worries.
