Anyhow….one thing ive seen more of this match then any other.."besides people running away " is after a skirmish getting an invite from the person to join a party and talk about builds ect. Its kinda neat regardless if you win or lose to shoot the poop with the person afterwards….i was also especially fond of being able to assist off an enemies target…lol

Both NSP and GoM have lots of people who enjoy being competitive as roamers/small group players and value that same mentality from opponents. Ain’t no shame in asking an enemy how he beat you or complimenting a tactic/build they used. The goal is to become a stronger player in the long run and as such, mutual respect usually runs deep between fellow enemy roamers in this particular group of servers.

I’m pretty pleased with many of the fights I’ve had with DH players outside of the zerg this week (except when Fallyse and Togo lure me into a series of duels while their armies take GoM garrison -_-).

I made a solemn promise I would kill you.

Hey friends, here is some footage of Purimm and I, this time from my (guardian) point of view. The skill level of the smaller groups in this tier has been higher so nothing too jaw dropping.

You should of uploaded the stuff after this where that one thief trolls you guys, I would of liked to have seen what saw and known what you were thinking.

I don’t remember how long it was just him, eventually it becomes him and 2 good RH mesmers, but I didn’t record any of that fight. What you would have seen is lots of misses from blind, lots of theif porting/stealthing at low hp, and me thinking “I’m bored”.

Plus we get trolled all the time, most classes have some spec that’s very mobile, and in any of our footage you’ll see people getting away from us. We just don’t have the mobility to catch that kind of stuff.

This is the fight I was talking about the other day haha. I was thinking the exact same thing. The two mesmers were myself and Dirty Dirty and I even said to him (at least 3 times) over voice chat “Dude, this isn’t going anywhere I’m disengaging.”

Needless to say he was intent on killing one of you and didn’t leave, so I stayed to help him out. When 4 survivable builds and a perma-stealth thief meet it’s never going to be a super exciting fight lol

Still love your vids though, I learned a lot watching the one in our north camp (I can’t record so I’m forced to rely on other people’s video until I upgrade my PC).

I just changed my build recently to be a lot more bursty and not so tanky, so our next encounter should be much more interesting. That’s of course assuming we’re matched up again this week.

I think Purimm was trying to get one of you guys guard whacked, we don’t use voice but he seemed pretty content to hang near invuln. Didn’t you guys get a couple stomps on him? I was just waiting to die, but my bar still had cooldowns.

Yeah I was looking forward to another fight, I figured you would respawn when you saw me heading to north, but sadly it was all NPC’s up there. I’m sure we will run into GoM again down the road. Gl to you and DH as well. Had a ton of memorable roamed fights this matchup.

Yeah, we got him down twice I believe, and you’re right, he did keep trying to pull us in haha. That was the frustrating part, we’d finally get a stomp on him and he’d just walk back the 50 feet from spawn.

And I bet that is frustrating to watch lol, but hey that’s how you learn right?

That’s why I’m so in love with Hammer + that teleport skill (I forget the name) when i play my guardian. Instant ring around them is so awesome. I find I can never land it otherwise.
