Well i look at it this way. If ppl respec just for dueling then your not getting better or having fun as you said. Your trying to prove something. If a person cant run their reg WvW build tht they use each and everyday in a duel then whats the point to duel? We had a guild wait to see our grp comp, all logged on to the classes counters, took an extra 20mins to all respec just so they could beat us lol. Its a sad way of dueling. Dueling is fun sometimes, but the best fights happen in open field with your grp. If you cant beat some1 there and then. tough. Why waste time dueling!??

Mikal, just so u knw TC is a full server. They have large WvW population. When they are bending your bls over they are bending ours(fa bls over). The difference is FA has more ppl on the map able to hold/defend more than SoS. It may seem TC is only hitting your map with 60 ppl but if you come to FA bls you will see another grp of 60+ doing their thing. In the end its a numbers game. Who ever has the most will win. TC can prolly get qued maps during NA primetime. SOS feels the burn more because you just dont havet he numbers to compete. the fact tht FA is at 208k and SOS is at 154k says alot about ur server. Be proud of what SOS did this week. I think it proves SOS is prolly a top contender for t3.

Thanks TC and FA, I have enjoyed this matchup. Had a great time this week, especially the open field fights. We are not winning on PPT, but as a server I think we have gained a lot.

It’s really got nothing to do with that…a. we are taking fa stuff in eb, but yeah…we’re gonna take the stuff that’s easier to take, thats just called World versus World. It’s not about demolishing the underdog near the end, it’s just about our EB crew trying to find what fun they can. If FA is gonna turtle in their keeps/tower, they just gonna go somewhere else to find fun lol.
Edit: instead of trying to rag on 2 servers for “trying to take out the underdog” or whatever…feel proud of your server that you managed to do pretty well and keep up competition against two tier 2 servers. well…it is no fun to breach walls in an FA tower and have them just stay in there for hours on end with AC’s raining down on you lol. and FYI..while we were taking ur stuff, we were also taking FA’s stuff to lol. On a friday before reset it’s not about a “challenge” it’s about takign stuff for fun, getting wexp, and just runnin around, not screwin around with a fully sieged up turtled tower that really does nothing lol. I’ve watched SoS do the same to TC, and FA to the same to everyone as well…it’s called playing the game lol. The sad part is so much of TC has massive respect for SoS because of how well you’ve competed this week against 2 much bigger servers, and, like pple from db did, a few little hating trolls like you come on the forum and attempt to kill that. Just be happy your server has gained massive respect from the entire WvW community and that you’ll be jumping up a couple of ranks for doing well against us, instead of griefing that we’re “picking” on you. I can promise, nearly every TC commander will always pick on FA first, then go to SoS because of our servers rivalry.

It has nothing to do with that. You’re welcome to your opinion, but politics aside, people want to play the game/WvW. You might see it that way, but on the other side of the screen, people are just trying to have fun. This isn’t different from anything that happens in any other matchup.

SOS have done well this week; take comfort in that and stop looking at the map/score. Like you said, the match is over and everyone’s just messing around.

and ontop of that…yeah we’re really pushing these last few hours BECAUSE we want to keep our rank 4. As of even yesterday we were gonna drop a rank to Dragonbrand despite winning this week because they decided to roflstomp a tier 3 and tier 5 server into pulp, turn that pulp into sausage, burn the sausage, then throw it away and start over every day for the past week.

When either side shows the outmanned buff it is generally called out in zone chat and we immediately drop what we are doing to take your stuff. That’s just how T2 works… possibly T1 too. If you can’t be bothered to protect something, you don’t get to keep it! And why take the foot off the pedal? We have to keep the momentum up for tonight. That’s just how TC works.
That being said, I was really impressed with the effort put forth by SoS and I hope we can do the same if tasked against a T1 server next week. You guys gave me hope that we can. Cya tonight FA lol.

Where in there did I name call at all? I simply said that all servers pounce on an area of a map when a server shows up outmanned…if you think it’s unfair now you should see what some of the SoS people do during the FA/TC times, they pounce on us and flip half the map. It’s how T2 is played…lol

Calm down buddy. It’s a legitimate strategy to push outmanned servers out of the map. We even do it when our server is prime last Halloween to Christmas.

Judging a server from a few hours of end of week play. Definitely the way that it should be done.. Who cares about anything that happened the past week!

It’s just one dude, what say we all just let it go. As for the gw2lfg…seems pretty petty and it occurs to me that if you guys ignored it, rather than bringing it here, they would probably stop doing it. The fun part, for the person who did it, is hearing you guys get angry, I believe.

It was a great match-up and every server has a lot to be proud of. Hopefully we’ll all learn and benefit from everything that happened this week, wins/losses don’t matter. Just ask yourselves if you had a good time overall, and is your server enjoying playing WvW? If it’s yes to even one of those questions, then count yourself lucky and hope the next match is as good.

What happened all week? Wow again. Yea I was only talking about the last few hours as I was talking about the match being over and you zerging an outmanned server with 2 hours to go. Clkitten. You don’t like it? To bad. Sorry you get your panties in a bunch when someone says something you don’t like.

Looking at your previous posts, looks like you’ve been hopping in, complaining about being outmanned in your servers down time, and leaving. It’s sad because there are some actual nice people on your server, but forum trash such as yourself brings down the rep of your server greatly due to your complaining. If you hate WvW so much, stop going into it. Go farm PVE or something, or maybe do sPVP for a change.

Before this thread, his last and only comment was six months ago. Please don’t make the mistake of thinking our server is like this. We just want good fights, and intelligent opposition.

Not at all, but to others that read the forum and don’t WvW it reflects badly on your server as a whole. It creates a whole snow ball effect. If you see some of my earlier posts, I’ve met quite a few friendly SoS that were bored and just wanted to chill yesterday on TCBL. Same thing with FA, we know theres some cool peeps on there, but can be polluted by some bad apples.

Indeed. I think the best part of a server having a exodus of players is its like a massive troll cull. Unfortunately sometimes one or two slip through the cracks.

sadly I would even think it was amusing if the troll attempts were even clever/amusing, not just constant spams of “lfg COF path1!!” and w/e else

I am Ignoring 1-2 trolls and counter trolls as they are in the words of a past australian Prime Minister “Non representative $%^&”.
This has been a well mannered thread to back up a very good weeks WvWvW. SoS had plenty of numbers out for most of the week and hopefully TC and FA will be out in force as well “when” they get the cat eyes roll and get a them vs Sor and BG type match.

I met some terrific solo roamers this week and look forward to the fact that “Tier” is only a sorting system now. Congrats on holding rank 4 TC, would have been the only downer for the week if we had promoted DB accidentally.

Well i look at it this way. If ppl respec just for dueling then your not getting better or having fun as you said. Your trying to prove something. If a person cant run their reg WvW build tht they use each and everyday in a duel then whats the point to duel? We had a guild wait to see our grp comp, all logged on to the classes counters, took an extra 20mins to all respec just so they could beat us lol. Its a sad way of dueling. Dueling is fun sometimes, but the best fights happen in open field with your grp. If you cant beat some1 there and then. tough. Why waste time dueling!??

Everytime I saw you out in the field you would miss your cc, try to bull rush miss your 100 swags cause I would blurred frenzy. Realize you aint beating my mesmer and then run away. Try it again 2-3 times afterwords by tracking me and keep missing the swags and running away.

Hey guys Rooster from Team Shatter here

Just wanted to say that this week was one of the most fun that me and TS have had, we came out every night and gave it our best. A special shout out to AVTR,APS,DPS,EP and Awe for the amazing fights you guys gave us and always kept us on our toes, hopefully in the future we can meet all of you in the battlefield again and you can continue to challenge us and force us to adapt like you have done so this week.

Also Incredibly proud of SoS, we achieved 150k in total scores even if it felt like we were being targetted at times it was still fun and hopefully when we come back we can improve on our defence and bunkering down when nesscasary.
