I cannot figure out BG. Yesterday at this time they were tallying over 300pts. Today right now they are below 200. SoR was low one yesterday but now are leading at this time. No discrediting anything, just seem strange I guess. Just curious I guess

Could be any number of things it’s impossible to evaluate things like this without proper data.

We spent too much of SEA tonight on JQ BL defending our WP’d Hills, allowing SoR to backcap BG BL fighting the good fight against ATM. Though I think you missed our 385 ppt oceanic

Not qq’ing, just saying it’s simpler than that. SoR needs to attack BG to win, and JQ is looking to collect a few tears after being pummeled last week.
I think its more of a collective effort we started doing, neither SoR or JQ actually care who has it, so long as BG loses it every night. I actually have a good laugh every night when I check the map to see that JQ or SoR control your entire corner in EB. That BL must be so demoralizing for your militia
Meh, our militia is pretty hardened by now. The nightly 2v1 is more or less expected at this point. I think most of us know it’s really just for the lulz for the SoR and JQ players.
We just do what we can, and pray the RNG gods give us that SoR/BG/not JQ match up. Will be interesting to see how things play out when it happens.

The new patch looks like they are changing the wvwvw meta. Things will get interesting in the coming weeks.
Sure they will, and we’ll be out there fighting regardless of the score and who we are up against. The mortar changes… meh (only really use mortars to kill the occasional treb, can’t think of any real improvements there), but I can see torment being a bit of a pain in the kitten for those coming up against mass necro/mesmer team builds; although its application to WvW seems rather limited as it seems to be a counter to the high mobility bunker rangers or eles in tPvP more than anything (https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/upcoming-skill-and-trait-changes/). Should be interesting to see the application in process from the most competitive servers in the game.

Maybe mesmer will be worth playing again. Or maybe I’ll finally have to roll a necro though I’m really interested to see which ele signets will be stunbreakers now.

They actually prefer to run with just their own group with no tag, but it’s hard to stop people from wanting to smell their hair in hopes of becoming a PvP god.
So they based their combat on positioning, evasion, dodging, etc….and now creating a condition that penalizes that?
F’n epic.
They also based combat on attacking stuff, and whenever people called for nerfs on conditions that penalized that, people cried about it.

I wonder how the gagillion stun breakers Guardian has will be affected by the patch.
I think everyone with a Mesmer is going to go back to stacking Confusion and now with Torment as soon as the patch goes live. Torment itself seems like it’ll just encourage even more blobbing, despite it obviously being intended for small group combat.
Judging by BG’s EU ppt atm, I’d assume its safe to say that the excuse of SoR’s EU-NA is the reason we win is now gone? Finally looks like we have equal coverage between BG/SoR, now if only we could get BG to start sending guilds to JQ we may yet have ourselves the most balanced tier in GW.

On the bright side if they’re nerfing stun breakers you have a better chance of being stuck while tormented. I think it’s slightly overkill that you can’t even negate the damage by standing still… You only take less. At least Retaliation you can stop attacking, and Confusion you can stop casting… With Torment you get the range to decide between hurting where you’re standing, or hurting more 5 feet over there.
On a side note I wonder if forcing people to move with CC that have Torment will trigger the extra damage.
