Best part of tonight’s reset in SBI BL was the dolyak attacking Shadaran Hills south gate. AR won hills, then BP flipped it but the yak was already on its way so when it arrived it started to attack the gate with us.

Manvil the Yak 2013-2013- He lived gloriously and died gloriously. May he rest in peace.

To be fair I keep trying to cut ar a break. I see you guys taking back one of your sup camps and I back off. Every time though, every single time without fail they turn on me. A few days ago I ran off an sbi to help them, and they thanked me by attacking me. I’m not the only one, several that I’ve run with tonight would make comments about feeling bad for you guys.

After 9 hours of keeping our borderlands clean, i can finally rest ;p.

Sigh getting stampeded over during a decent 1v1 gets old real fast. I know, I know, WvW isn’t about 1v1 but unfortunately nothing else is either and it’s the best we’ve got.

Roaming on reset night is generally not advised.

I know where you’re coming from and it’s why I purposely avoided it during the day today (reset is 11am here). Just a general observation/rant that isn’t directed at any particular guild/server, nor time during the match-up.

Some good fights last night! Some of them seemed to rage on forever, which made for really good fun. And was it just me, or did SBI rally the troops this week? I swear you guys had a much larger presence last night than I saw from you last week. Keep up the good fights!

Fewer people working on Dragon coffers and Dragon events…and it’s reset night, which always brings out a few more. Best to wait until midweek to see if the troops have truly answered the call…or not.

Playing outmanned most of the evening and having our EB spawn camped by SBI brought back memories of our time w/ BP/EBay. I saw a few folks log into EB, see what was going on, say “oh not this kitten again”, and log right back out. Don’t be surprised if you see very little of AR in this matchup redux.

To BP, I’m not sure if you were trying to help us get our EB keep back last night or ninja cap it, but if it was the former, thank you.

We set up some advertisements in LA and got a guild to defend the borderlands on reset night. Put it this way EB and SBI borderlands was queued with enough leftover to take everything of BP but their garrison. If it were not for basically all of BP and a ton of AR fighting in our borderlands we might have taken first the first day.

We were trying to get our randoms to stop the spawncamp and play more taticily by helping in our borderlands or attacking BP keep however randoms will be randoms and apparently they just could not resist the loot.

One has doubt the wisdom of the AR commanders who have made another pact with BP, to possibly come in second, which failed last week.

By teaming with SBI, that guarantees at least a second, and possibly a first, once BP is trounced. Coordinating with another against a common stronger foe has always been the way of warfare for just this reason.

To ally with the stronger enemy plays right into their hands, guaranteeing them a first place. Why play this role and into their plans? The smart play for both SBI and AR is to go for the guarantee second place. If there are any alliances, that is the way of it.

I speak the truth and the truth rings true. This has been the way of the world since the birth of mankind. We should learn the truth from the blood of our ansestors and honor them by learning their lessons.

I believe that was Kiwi group running reset night WvW event. Kiwi commander Sojoo was leading the troops. We had good amount of open field fight with your zerg and flipped your Hills twice and your Bay once. It was fun fight-I think we pushed you guys well and that brought more SBIer’s join our force. I hope you guys also enjoyed many looting bags.

As others, specifically commanders, have already stated, there is no such “alliance”. Your conspiracy theory, both regarding last week and this one, is just that, a theory, and it’s just not true.

Here’s a little bit of a lesson for you re AR. I monitor TS and chat, and never, not once in the 6 months I’ve been playing on AR, has a commander, or anyone else, said “we need to do X to get Y points so we’re in Z place”. 1st, 2nd, or 3rd is a result, not a goal. As a server, we just don’t care. Sure, there may be a few who do, but in general, it’s just not important. And now the forum trolls will jump in and say “that’s why you bad”, or “that’s why you never win”, or some other kitten. I’ll nip that right now and say come guest on our server for a few days. You’ll see exactly why we come in 2nd or 3rd. Don’t worry, you’ll learn to really enjoy the Outmanned buff, LOL. You’ll also see that we punch above our weight, and that’s why we keep getting stuck with servers w/ 3x+ our WvW population, so bring your RAWRRRRR (or your speed buffs, depending on which group you’re with, LOL). :-)

That 20+ Golem zerg was fun before the reset

Reminds me when BP and AR were telling NSP to take care of the homeland. The hive mind loves eternal but if you don’t take care of the homeland than don’t complain when it starts turning green and red. FYI zerg defense is slow. Even if you get the numbers to wipe, the damage has been done. Making for easy keep caps throughout the day.

BP can pretty much do damage in any borderland as of now. AR is just persistent and opportunistic. The two AR commanders were getting relayed BP’s progress on the map due to the orange X’s. WW II swag! Fighting a war on two fronts is hard eh? Nice recovery though SBI.

Sorry if a few of our scrubs might be hacking. Were proud to have one of the more “clean” servers unlike some of the old ones we’ve fought before. Most in our TS agree on that. And if any of us in our TS saw someone hacking regardless of team we would report it asap.

I feel the same way. I know it makes me unpopular but back when the mesmer portal hacks were going on I did report some bp for it. Crap like that ruins the game. It becomes an arms race of who can have the better hacks. There isn’t any in game skill in that. I can promise you if I see bp do it I will do the same thing. I might be a bit of a kitten on the forums, but there is a line you don’t cross (at least for me).

1st…“hell no we don’t have an alliance with AR…..but if something we do benefits them we expect them to honor that non-existent alliance and not take our stuff!”

I agree, points are meaningless to me. My way of viewing success is if I’m on either my home borderlands or EB and are able to defend everything we own for the entire duration that I’m on, I count that as a win.
