Fun times in the NSP Borderlands. Finally got the troops rallied but it looks like DH, coverage will have us out matched.

You left too soon Cold Beer. DH zerg with 8 golems just wiped our borderland clean. They moved so quickly we didn’t see swords on garr or hills at all. We got to bay just in time to slow them down in the lords room.

Yeah not sure where SF’s numbers went. They have been a no show outside of EB. At least GoM fought. Very organized DH in our BL. Credit given when credit is due.

Noodica shall get this bay back for us! ;p

Yeah that was us. The zerg eventually ended up following us around for bay but there were only like 13 of us when we got garr and hills. The beauty of a coordinated portal chain! All the golems really had to do was walk forward and spam F till they saw a gate lol.

We ended up holding NSP Bay for a LONG time against a HUGE zerg. While hills was completely undefended and empty. The zerg left after we turned the map red and we didnt have the numbers to protect both east and west. Whoever was in charge was a little too set on taking bay first…

This is not the same SF I’m use to or DH for that matter.

ROFL Guild seemed to be in charge of that when i got there and everything was so unorganized and siege was being put in stupid places in reach of the counter treb you’s had up >< then i brought down some HOES, took charge of bay while they went for hills and got the treb up in the right spot and took it back ;p

Yes I finally had to go pass out. Was getting pretty late for me. (I’m getting to old to keep up) NOOB will be on the field more this week than it was last week. Not that we will be noticed at all

I just wanted to say:

Great job DH in SF BL last night!

Regardless of population, people were playing really well together. We also finally learned that “flanking is good!”

Was nice to see healing springs drop right at my feet, one right after the other. Makes doing those blast finishers on a support guard so much more effective!

I saw a few HOES once.

I ran by them on my way to a camp and said, “Hey, HOES!” then “Bye, HOES!” as I ran off. Simple and stupid, but I had to do it. The guild tag is too funny. xD

I found two. The other was a commander and wp’d.

For whatever reason we only had half of our people show up last night and gained the outmanned buff real fast everywhere we tried to go.

You can always level in WvW! :P

Thats what I have done for the past… three (?) characters I have levelled. It does take longer, generally, but you have to play your class much smarter. I think in the end, that benefits our skill level.

There is something to be said for sentry guards all of a sudden being a serious contender, lol. With my support guard (level 28 right now), I brought him in at level 2 right out of the intro. Playing without any utilities forced me into relying on the basic skill set, and I think I am a better player for it.

I level faster by Race zone hopping to thirty. Plus I actually like to be useful in WvW Since it’s the summer coming up school is out anyway, So It’ll probably take me a week to get to 80. and maybe a few days to get all the gear I need.

WvW is both the slowest and one of the fastest ways to level, depending on circumstance. I agree though. I tend to split it up with the personal story and some hearts. Since this is number 7 getting to 80, I needed to look at different ways just to make it even remotely palatable, lol. Luckily, I am starting to “get the hang of things” and really enjoying the class. I find myself getting a “head start” on skill level when I do it mainly through WvW, only because of how much thought you have to put into using the skills you have effectively. At level 30, its not as much of a concern, but I was quite happy when I soloed a supply camp at 11! I got lucky though, as no one came and intervened, and also got one lucky rally. Makes it edge of your seat play, lol. I am more proud of the 200 badges I have earned on him than any other character. Almost rank 10 too, which is kind of neat. Never had that metric when levelling before.

Some classes can be very, very useful at lower levels too! Things like reflection, heals, siege, supply, etc are all very useful at any level. Admittedly, the guardian has been the most useful I have used since so many of the skills have nothing to do with level, and are only refined by traits (like applying boons, wall of reflection, aegis, etc).

Having your characters death rally a ton of enemies is never a good thing though. At least not for your team :P

Im just playing the devil’s advocate, obviously, do what you enjoy most. Sometimes I get bored, ya know?

Well I died on my necro, so I’ll take that as a signal to go WvW on my warrior

The lag is rather unpleasant. I died by falling off of a ledge. Twice.
