Just a warning…

AR has fought outnumbered for weeks.

AR’s my original server. Scrappy kittens that fight hard, just lack an oceanic presence. Never count ’em out, though.

About 2 hours ago all 4 maps were extremely colorful. Nice reset night. AR pushed out hard, but momentum quickly went into SBI’s corner with #‘s. IOJ had a consistent queue on our map (which is a nice change of pace) while EB kinda swung back and forth around outmanned. TBH outmanned is a much nicer feeling, you really have a better idea where you’re at on people-power.

Maybe Anet can do some sorta in-between? Like Under-manned? something between Outmanned and Not outmanned so you have a little more of a feel for how many people you really have? And maybe a more scaling level of a handicap? Just a thought.

ANYWAY, matchup stuff. Was nice to exploit SBI’s overextending up north on AR by sucker punching stonemist but we promptly evacuated, expecting to hold it no longer than the 5 minute invul timer

AR COMMANDAHS I’ve asked IoJ commandahsi to hit SBI whenever possible, at least on EB. I know it won’t always happen. kitten happens. But if you’re willing to push SBI more often than not, then so am I If either of us tries to “play for 2nd” the reality is neither of us “win” 2nd…SBI will decide who “gets” 2nd. So throw 2nd out the window, and let’s both take SBI down!!!!!!!!

Hooooo boy – this has been an exciting reset so far.

I’m a roamer at heart, and so far I’ve had a lot more challenging (and far more interesting) encounters than the past few months of enemies have shown us.

A tip to the perma-stealth thief that I came up against at the AR vista hill in EB – you’re never going to get me down when I have three phantasms up and am on full health. Too bad that SBI 5-man that ran over us will.

I dont know what to say about you, Anvil Rock. I’ve hit more of your people for over 10k tonight (ranger) than I have ever on a regular basis before. Not even uplevels, many of you just arent wearing clothes or something.

And whoever was running a havok squad for AR in IOJ-BL, I’m talking about a d/d ele commander with a thief and another d/d ele running with him, you guys are freaking awesome. I saw one tag was “Team Doesnt Matter”, but I didn’t catch the commanders tag. You guys repeatedly wiped 10+ SBI with just 3-4 though, awesome job.

I can’t imagine how many people are playing WvW on our server (SBI) either. Where did all these people come from? I don’t think we’ve queued all 4 maps since like October. What the heck? We could’ve used them last week.

To be fair, last week was lost after everyone went to bed on night 1 and DB could just wipe the map without any contest. However, our primetime performance over the last week gave us a pretty huge boost in confidence and it shows in how many people showed up for reset.

Good luck to IoJ and AR this week, I’m sort of looking forward to a matchup that isn’t us getting stomped horribly for once. AR in particular really brought the heat last night and just kept coming at us in force.

Well, last night we had all 4 maps with a full queue, and apparently EB had a one hour queue. Couple of factors in this. We have not had a match up in our favor since we last faced IoJ in tier 5, I think you guys were a different server then. So, about 10-12 weeks of being a punching bag brought some people back. Also, first time we have been green, so the PvE’s are trying to get map completion done. Take these two factors in consideration with the fact the score is in our favor for the first time in months, I gotta believe every fair weather player and their mother is out and about this weekend.

I’ve commanded EB 5-6 days a week prime time since the exodus. I recognized maybe half the people in EB last night. Might be a tough week for you guys, and might even out after map completion calms down. Either way good fights, see you soon.

Aside from that IoJ nice to see more of you on the field, SBI, you run decent blob tactics, hopefully something the two opposing servers can draw from.

No, I’m serious, most AR I run into have, like, no Toughness or something. I don’t get it.

No clue, both my ranger and warrior are over 3k armor. I rarely see a hit above 4k.

It’s been a long time since SBI had queues on all maps. I have a feeling the masses will clear out after the weekend or after their world completion.

Also, props to the small AR havok squad on AR BL late last night/early AM. I think half of that havok squad had their commander tags on.
