I don’t think CD has a prime time in the same sense as us yaks and KN. CD is probably the most spread out and least coverage gaps, which is why they end winning. Yea they have weaker pushes and stronger ones. But yaks have strong pushes from like 5 PM server time to about 1AM in the night then its like maybe 10-20 people spread out across all maps hitting camps or what not. Same with KN I assume, since they lose their whole BL and EBG everyday now.

Nonetheless, exciting match. I think at the moment Yak’s are edging in for a second place. I’m leaving work early to help lol :P

I actually have to agree with you there. Crystal Desert has pretty much reached an equilibrium for our server coverage as an NA server at our rating. It’s also why we are no longer actively recruiting as we have a nice WvW balance, for an NA server, with strong NA, moderate SEA/Oceanic, and average EU. No one is stuck PvDooring or getting completely stomped unless we are matched way out of our rating. Also, gotta love that we have a nice PvE and sPvP crew on our server as well.

What’s interesting is that the servers are still pretty close. Yes, CD has a bigger lead, but there’s still plenty of time to pull ahead. Add that this is about the time Kain dies down and everyone on Yak’s is waking up, the last hours are gonna be fun. I’ve especially enjoyed the 7-8 3 way fights in SM. Favorite has got to be the 20 of us defending SM, and I beleive CD had their AC’s reaching all the way into the lords room, they all piled in, and we still wiped all of them. I will say that there’s quite a few Kain that like to hack, causing everything to miss them, and when they go down, you can’t spike them, and they come back from 50% down to full health. There’s not to many, but we took a lot of screens, one guy was streaming and got it recorded lol. Oh well, still a decently fun match. Waiting to get home so we can completely take everything like yesterday. Trust, it’s going to happen.

Maybe someone in your zerg died and they rallied?

Congratulations CD! We on SoS kept telling everyone that you are a lot tougher than everyone thought and I’m so glad you keep showing everyone that.

Well it was a great match up until about 2 hours ago when WvW kicked everyone, me and my friends couldn’t gain access to WvW but we could watch CD pretty much run threw the entire 3 maps capping, and nothing we could do about it, shame the final day was ruined because of that.

lol! You are a pretty bad liar. I wasn’t even there to see it and I can tell that you are lying. First off, if this actually did occur there would be a lot more people than just you reporting it. But it seems that you are the only one to even mention this mass booting, so don’t say that everyone got kicked out. Secondly, you have provided no proof of this occurring. Anybody who experienced this would have taken a screenshot at least with the scoreboard showing CD capping all the entirety of the 3 maps, with a one of those pop-ups saying you can not access WvW at this time. Rather, you went to the forums about 2 hours later and made a post about it. Third, after reading your post I went into EB and checked the Yak’s Bend keep. It was fully upgraded T3. That can’t be done in a mere 5 hours, as far as I know.

If anybody has some proof this actually happened than I apologize. Good luck in your match ups next week.

Yes we have come a long way rebuilding our morale and forces for the last two months and have a great community. It would be nice to have some more EU/SEA guilds or players but I believe as a community we have reached a population equilibrium in wvw that allows players of all timezones to experience wvw in all capacities. From zerg balling to small group camp capping to solo roaming.

Congrats to all that played as best they could for their server. Ready for this next matchup!

I think Chris has had a coming of age experience. At the beginning of the matches with SoS and CD he was just another forum troll, and now he has transformed into CD’s number one cheer leader, one might even say a beacon of inspiration. Quite amazing.

You can always check out the server ppt over time here http://mos.millenium.org/servers/view/34/. That being said, it doesn’t really look like there is any time where CD went through capping everything without resistance.

Yeah, Chris has really changed for the better. In fact, a few days ago I called him out in a thread (without knowing he changed) and he responded so maturely I just had to go back and edit my post. I’m very happy for him and hope more people around these forums can do the same.

Time to break out the [Flask of Special Reserve Blood Whiskey] and reminisce on some hard fought battles. Kaineng and the Yaks both had me worried in the last 24 hours, with some of the most brutal onslaughts we’ve seen recently. But, in the end, Crystal Desert showed that slow and steady wins the race. Whew, loving the challenge! At the same time, kind of hoping we’ll get a break from fighting you guys this week so I can relax a little bit.

I think it’s a good thing for us to take a break (CD especially) otherwise we could grow accostumed to having even matches.
