Hey Mag and YB, how’s your EU primetime coverage? Gonna try to find small and 1v1 fights, but during that time period all I ever seem to find are roaming thieves, and those are starting to get easy.
ehehehehehehehehe that’s cute. Mag doesn’t have EU or SEA. We have sleep-deprived NA and Bony.
Well that’s good because it means when I’m looking for small fights, I won’t be run over by the karma train.
Doing what I can for DB during EU primetime

Speaking of weak, had a few skirmishes with GOATs today. They fell as easily as other Mag guilds do without an AC behind them. I guess ME is still the best Mags guild
Sorry, buddy. We only had about 10 GOATs max running tonight because chasing kites ate our communal brain earlier in the day.
Oooh GOAT! Where are you hiding!! ♥
I’ve been looking for you!

I found them Eva… and they ran away.. I don’t know why… It might have been the 20 other EA trailing after me.

Oh you’re back on Dragonband Eva.
How was the fling with BT?
Lookie what I found! A cute little kittie! I just want to bring it into Hills and feed it!

I had a BLAST with BT, but husbandface is getting back into GW and ‘T1’ would be a bit too intense to get him interested in WvW. I’ll be on whatever server he is, as long as he is playing.

Saiyr-chan brings us great honour. Plus I could see why T1 would be too intense all that stacking it’d hurt my head too, as a side note. Call out to ea from reset, I only got a few hours before I fell asleep on the desk but for the love of all that is holy, why did you need to build 3 superior ballistas for six of us when you had around 20 there maybe?
You really really liked the SE camp I guess.
I helped DB report a speed hacker and then I get 10v1’d and laughed at by an NNK general :‘( y’all are mean poopieheads
RIP Mag Borderlands.
It’s actually refreshing how fast everything fell. No more 12 hour boring sieges, yay.
This week is going to be just fine.

Hi guys. missed reset :*(
Was mags still siege creeping instead of open field fighting last night?

Could only open field when DB would put down the arrow carts and come out of Garry.
I’m just waiting for excuses. Despite having the highest numbers during NA prime time, Mags are behind on the reset night. It must suck to have all low-skill guilds stacked on the same server.
If you keep saying it, it must be true right?
We queued one map tonight and had three or four commanders total on hand.
We lost everything in EB so PYRO left DBBL and went to EB and took it all back and then we moved to MAG and lost everything. Yuuup.
So you’re saying you lost everything despite your numbers?
A better guild (like ME) would have divided those numbers are have tried to hold a few key keeps. It’s not hard, given your proficiency at siege.

Yeah, no thanks. lol
This event requires 10k achievement points to max out rewards. That’s what I’ll be doing this morning.
its funny.. because we just lost to BP (supposed to be a lower rank than us) and they get the better matchup this week?? must have been the unlucky roll haha — ohh well.. look forward to some fights this week..

2400 armor is weaksauce. ive ran just under 3400 armor and got hit for a 14k combo of CND + backstab

DB does most of the work.
thanks Anet for giving Maguuma a 3rd straight week against a tier 2 server. Nothing like getting pummeled by 60-80 man zergs constantly for a 3rd week in a row.
Why would you want anything that was previously T4? Mag rolls over all those servers with no effort.
This is a silly response. I think it’s obvious at this point that somewhere between the two would be better. A fight with even numbers at any given time would be ideal. Are you saying that you would rather be constantly outnumbered?
Please don’t answer that – if I have to hear “We like it that way – cuz the score don’t mean anything – we play for fun…blah blah blah.” – my head will explode. You can keep trying to sell that kitten – but nobody’s buying.

Is it? For about 6 months DB said it was the community that was fun and not winning. Has the bandwagon changed things, cptwheezy?
Just wanted to say thank you dragonbrand for the entertainment late last night on the cliffs inside garrison SE. After us yaks failed to cap garrison after breaching the lords room, I dropped off one of the upper ledges onto the outer parts of inner garrison. I was like, hey, I didn’t know I could stand here.. Wonder how long it will take for someone to find me. Not long at all… My little d/d ele Incurred the wrath of two guardians who did their kitten best to punt me to my death. I was trying to bait one of you to the edge so I could updraft you to your own death, however it never worked out quite right Thank you for the laughs as I did get punted to lower levels and proceeded to see bags appear as you guys fell to your deaths. And then I got run over by like 10 of you at Watergate when I finally hit the bottom. It was great fun.

What. Oh, you. I meant Mag in total, not just PYRO. PYRO ran around 30 which quickly dwindled to 10 or so by the start of NNK o clock.

I have to give it to you DORPs – you pee in ones soup and the other 20 Razi sweat lickers come to the rescue. And just for your information – I have no idea what Dragonbrand says – I play on Maguuma. This whole ‘play for fun not points’ is simply bandaids for your fragile little DORP egos. Now – hurry up and read this – because it will get deleted pretty dang quick.

ME was actually with us on DB and then came to EB with us… but okay.
Last night we had about 30 PYRO on, not a small number by any means, but that’s all we had after midnight, period. ME ran 15-20 until about that time, BURN had 20ish. Dunno about other guilds but after we left DB BL, I didn’t see any guild raids except for the 10 or so ME who were still online. It’s not a big deal, since VR and DORP don’t really raid during the weekends generally anyways.
Unrelated, but when did FIRE get so big, and where was TG last night? I miss Bronade.

Easy lifting when you guys siege creep all the time. Earlier today 284 [dorp]s siege creeped me and 2 others defending the bridge. Of course we wiped all of them. There maybe was a [pyro] or [ill] in there too. I know there wasn’t any [me] there or they would have gotten us.

If you’re not having fun because you’re losing I don’t know how you’ve lasted on Maguuma for any length of time. You can’t play 24/7, so why worry about coverage and ppt? Capping stuff is fun sometimes, but it kind of sucks that the new meta is hoping to avoid a fight to do it. If you’re not into the pvp part of it then I doubt you’ll have much fun in these new random matchups.

I don’t mind losing – as you said – we don’t always win. I can also buy the comment that finding fights and doing well (and not the ppt) is the best part of the game. But so many times when people use that excuse – it sounds like – an excuse.
The point here is that these matches of late are far too lopsided to encourage any type of game play that would be considered fun. An even fight is the best fight. Then it’s skill on skill. The fight is then decided by thinking and quick maneuvers and team minded play. I will grant that the opposite scenario is just as bad.
It’s the even fights that we need. The ones where the game isn’t decided until the last minute. The ones where the match is decided by who played best. Who doesn’t mind losing in a situation like that, to a worthy opponent. I don’t mind at all. I’m just saying that Dragonbrand is NOT that worthy opponent. Who’s fault is that – not Dragonbrand. They’re doing what they can to make fun where there isn’t any- in the absence of equal numbers (equal fights). They cannot help that they outnumber us or that their time slots are filled to the brim. The fault lies with Anet! Plain and simple. The original post was about how it sucks that we’re up against T2 servers – and it does. Period.

Meh, the scoring system is a measure of population coverage, not skill. There’s nothing we can do about population coverage, so why worry about it? Just play for the fights. If you play for PPT, and you’re not a commander of any note, then you’re wasting your time worrying about things outside of your control.

True – but it doesn’t make it less frustrating. It would be easier if Anet said – this is a system of scoring based on population and coverage – but they don’t.
And some people on our beloved Maguuma try to make excuses. Meh – whatever. I just trudge through – find fights where I can get them – have fun with friends – and try to lose with some dignity. It would help tons if Anet would stop screwing that up. But – I get what you’re saying. And you’re right – I should stop worrying about it.

So basically you agree with the “play for fun” thing. Got it.
I basically deferred to Peralda out of respect. I know of him – and I respect him, even though he insinuated I was a bad player. (I mean – how could he know one way or the other.) LoL No hard feelings there.
I guess I do agree with the gist of what you guys are saying. The difference is – I play this game without excuses. At any rate – I’m done dueling with you guys – and because I know how fragile your egos are – I yield to you. Well played dingleberries, well played indeed.
no yielding i need more forum entertainment during my down time T.T, if i cant play in wvw i can least play here

So you agree with us but it’s only excuse when we say it, not when you say it. Makes sense. You’re probably as good of a player in game as on the forums!
Where’d the fragile egos thing come from? I die a lot in this game and lose a lot of duels.

Probably the “egotistical” in our guild name lol I blame Cress for this mess!!!!!!!!!!
Is it? For about 6 months DB said it was the community that was fun and not winning. Has the bandwagon changed things, cptwheezy?
I have to give it to you DORPs – you pee in ones soup and the other 20 Razi sweat lickers come to the rescue. And just for your information – I have no idea what Dragonbrand says – I play on Maguuma. This whole ‘play for fun not points’ is simply bandaids for your fragile little DORP egos. Now – hurry up and read this – because it will get deleted pretty dang quick.
Infraction Inc….
Addendum – if you’re not in DORP then disregard my comments! LoLoL
