LOL to people who think TW is a huge guild. They’re just one of the more active WvW guilds on SoR, so you just see the same people a lot.

Perception vs. Reality often differs, sometimes greatly.

The reality is that our normal peak numbers are generally in the 20’s. On reset night we push the low 30’s online, but generally only get half that in with the rest getting stuck in queues.

i’m a huge fan of HB and RK. They have been with BG since we were Tier 4 or 5 and

carry us around to Tier 1. Even we got rolled to lower tier. they were still with us.

unlike Those others especially the one trolling right now who just JUMP to winning

servers.

So how is the weather?

85 and humid out. Terrible weather this last few weeks.

It is 89 right now, supposed to get up to 93 (33c) and yes the humidity has been terrible.

My AC has been putting in massive overtimes, hope he doesn’t get burnt out.

93.. I’d KILL for 93.. Come live in Texas, we had 100 Straight Days of 100F heat last year + humidity… My AC is set at 74F and runs every 15 minutes at night and we still need extra fans.

Unless you live on the coast… Texas doesn’t know real humidity.

Secondly, as others have stated, GvG’ing and WvW’ing are two separate animals. GvG has a lot of theory crafting, composition selecting and build structuring with a bit of situational awareness. While some of that goes into WvW as well (in particular the build structuring), the level of situational awareness, screen panning, terrain manipulation, and simply adapting to what you have is completely different in WvW. In GvG you don’t have to adjust to a third party coming in during the middle of a fight. I respect GvG leaders for the time and effort they put into it, but it’s not WvW (hopefully Anet puts a larger arena feature in to make it easier on you).

On a class specific micro-scale, the build/gear I run in WvW compared to GvG is different. I focus more on killing in WvW whereas GvG is more support oriented.

True, Houston is HORRIBLE.. God I hate that place, 105F/100% humidity… We get it decent here in San Antonio.. still makes for very bad days where you just wanna curl in a ball inside the freezer.

I went to college in the pan-handle where it’d hit 115F.. still hot as albeit man… I should move..

To my fellow iron members. I think we give this hb guild too much attention. after all they are just a small guild who run with bg`s mega blob. They called us out but won`t come to play . They are trying to make a name for themselves when in reality they are pretty insignificant in the whole scheme of things .

What we should, as a show of true T1 unification (even though we play forums tough-guys) is select a structure (preferably one that’s paper… SM maybe?), allow a gate to be taken down, then get everyone on the wall flying a kite. Get many pictures of the largest three-way kite fest to every grace the Mists. When done, select a nice open patch of ground and simply have a three-way bag fest for fun.

I’m jelly I didn’t get a kite, guess I’m too cheap. Hopefully one of my fans takes advantage of the new gift option on the gem store and hooks a warrior up hahahah

In typical fashion the final score of this match won’t reflect how incredibly close it was most of the week. When we turned over into Thursday server time the score for 1st and 2nd was basically dead even. I don’t think there are many T1 matches since launch that can make such a claim. Well fought everyone, and thanks to my comrades and enemies for some great fights and good times. It looks like things are shaking up again so relish in how good this match was. Now to next week! Hehe there is a lot of truth to this. Anything is possible when it involves kites though! I personally think it could happen, if someone could somehow get all three servers on the same page (no easy feat). Although the end of it would likely resemble the “red wedding” from Game of Thrones.
