We had Garrison back within an hour later. In the meantime, I thought it was interesting that JQ zerged Longview to take down my 2nd treb. We ended up taking Longview and Garrison around the same time. Kudos to all the TC who participated in the Battle of TC Garrison. Lord’s circle was up for 10-15 min I think, before JQ finally capped.

This is the first time a lot of our SEA have ever had to face non-stop T1 pressure and it is coming from the strongest SEA force in GW2.

We’ve managed to push Waha to stay up till 4am and forced JQ to use 30+ Omegas on our Garrison after an hours-long battle.

To me, considering how the week started I am so proud of our SEA and call that a major victory. You guys are awesome!

There’s nothing sad about it. JQ has been the best matchup we’ve gotten in months, ty for giving me an excuse to log in everyday<3 Shout out to [Ge] an [ATM] toos, had some really fun fights with you all in EBG and JQ BL^ ^.

Lagfest at SM in EB is killing our moral. Kept hitting it over and over to give Waha pressure on TC garri, but it gets old running in over and over and fighting lag as the “third” enemy. Anet needs to fix this crap QUICK!

That fight at JQ BL north east camp was FANTASTIC!!!!

I’m 100% serious. We only pushed Valley Keep because that Upleveled Assaulter escaped inside the keep and we wanted him dead. The only logical solution was to manmode the gate down and take his life.

He actually jumped out of the keep when he saw we broke into outter just to get him^^;;.

The thing I’ve respected about TC since I first saw them last fall, is that they absolutely do not give up. Oh yeah, they got a little bit of the shock n awe treatment a few weeks ago from SoR, but all that did is teach them what to expect.

I still think JQ will win, but it will probably be less than 10k at that point. It’s a shame that SoR and BG have had to ramp up so much (to face each other) that there isn’t a 3rd server to round out a good three-way match for you guys (though FA is doing better than expected as well!)

You have no idea how hard our folks on BG are fighting. We aren’t just rolling around in map zergs and queing every map. This is partially what I used to think until I transferred to BG. Our commanders stay up late to get us WPs and clear the enemies off the map. People accuse us of working over time, but we take it as a compliment, which it obviously is.

I read the last two comments and did a double-take. I was wondering how I ended up in the SoR/BG/DB thread. :P

At the end of the day it’s a game, dont burn out on “overtime”.

I’m pretty sure you aren’t a BG resident, so how do you know how the number of maps we can que? 2-3 is an overestimate btw.

Weekly Tarnished Coast Dolyak Parade

Yes it is that time of week again! The famous Tarnished Coast Dolyak Parade will once again be held tomorrow, Thursday, at 6 PM Server Time. This is an event that is open for all servers in the match up!

What is a Dolyak parade?!
The Dolyak parade is a group of player who tonic as dolyaks, or really anything, and do a joyous parade around a borderlands in celebration of the most selfless of all creatures in WvW: the dolyaks. Yes, the dolyaks! They give us supply for all our killing needs! Whether you have to build that Arrow cart to kill an army, or repair a wall after defeating a siege, it’s the dolyaks who give you that supply! Come and join to celebrate them and show your support!

When…where…HOW?!

• When: Thursday, 7/25, at 6 PM ST (or 9 PM EST, 6 PM PST)
• Where: One of the BL’s. A Borderland is normally chosen about 30-45 minutes before the event. This enables the best borderland to be chosen (i.e. not pick one that currently has a big force inside a keep trying to take).
• How: There are numerous ways to become dolyaks if you wish to be one. A DOLY member will be able to give you Ruminant tonics, which allow you to tonic as dolyaks, or other ruminant creatures. You can also get a Dolyak Tincture from the Yak’s Bend WP in Frostgorge. You can tonic as whatever you wish, or not tonic and be a dolyak escort (and no, not that kind of escort).

I just want to say thanks to both JQ and FA for a good fight this week. I’m surprised we’ve done as well as we have, and I attribute some of that to FA. They have really stepped up this week and held their own, despite lower round the clock coverage. During their prime-time, they are consistently holding their borderlands and fighting on others. I love having an actual 3-way fight, where we can count on our enemy’s enemy to keep them a little bit busy, and keep them from taking stuff without having to defend it. JQ has kept up relentless pressure, just a constant stream of omega golems (and loot bags) which has been fun to play against. Keep up the good play everyone!

Great fights on JQ BL tonight! Thanks TC for really putting up a fight and not backing down… or coming back to put the pressure on again. Good tactics all around. The game is so much more interesting when we’re kept on our toes and always hopping in to a big fight!
