I thought Anvil Rock had a bit of class but when you have to resort to a known exploit in order to take out siege I have changed my mind. The thief in this picture came into the tower, before the gate was down, with only 2 defenders, and proceeded to destroy all the siege. He was followed shortly by another thief.

I’ll forgive you for saying it was all the commander’s decision, mainly cause you don’t know. Everyone who killed you all, was asked if they object to doing so, and we all were more than happy to kill you all. Why? Cause that’s the point of the game. And you’re wrong on another point. Your fun does affect ours. By staying in that spot, nothing was happening on the rest of the map, making for a boring night. By killing you all, we actually enjoyed the night. And while bragging may be pathetic, raging and whining and more or less wishing harm to people because of said “Pathetic actions” is just as equally pathetic. And in all honesty, it’s a world filled with people who originally want you dead, you should plan some sort of defense in case things go wrong anyhow.

who says we are stuck? we move around between top of T7 to top of T6. I think, and many HoD might agree, that we are quite happy where we are. Obviously getting a lopsided match with the bottom of T8 (which is usally ET) is the only real drawback. On the top side, if we draw BP we get roflstomped, which is still better then getting matched with ET, but most of the time we get close matchups.

You are a complete moron. The only thing that you can ‘beat down’ is anyone’s respect for that kitten guild known as Mend. You and your moronic buddies are nothing more than kittens interrupting an event where people get to test their prowess against each other using REAL GEAR. You make a reference to sPVP as if it is some consolation it is there. Considering you are a complete kittentard, I can understand that you have no clue there is MUCH LESS build diversity there.

Again, the real test of prowess is in sPvP, cause you may hold these little “events” to test a PvE build, but you can have just as much effectiveness doing that in a PvE area. You are rarely gonna get 1v1’s in a WvW match (as that defeats the purpose of the game entirely). So testing your skills is kinda worthless. More importantly, who cares if you are able to beat someone 1v1? You are just get beaten by a group of people who don’t care. The mentality that should be had, is “if it’s red, it’s dead” cause they are the enemy. And on another note, I find it funny how you have to help get your point across by swearing, it’s really funny seeing all those words turn into kitten.

Still an idiot. You probably plop into a group of 15-30 and mash 1 until your heart is content huh? I encounter at least a dozen 1v1s a day because I roam. In case you haven’t heard, that is a part of WvW too. Oh, and it actually means you use more than 1-3 of your skills. Crazy, I know. In the sense of WvW, you bring absolutely nothing to the table. You are just another placeholder in the zerg. Roamers solo/team camps, defends them solo/team, and keep people from ever reaching them. That seems more valuable to me.

It’s funny how you think you know exactly what we do. Mash 1 all day, sure I do, I don’t use my stuns or my interrupts, or my massive AoE that stuns. No I don’t do that at all, just gonna mash 1 forever. And Roaming can only get so much done, roaming isn’t gonna win the week for anyone. Especially solo roaming. You need bigger groups to help capture bigger objectives, like the keep we seem to love easily taking back. Not to mention, the small groups that get sent to defend camps when needed. It’s not all zerg. Tonight may have been zerg but that is because nothing else was happening all night. And you talk of contributing to the game, you can’t contribute when you are busy “testing” yourself for funzies.

We had 2 commanders on the map, EB had a lot of fights going on. We don’t plan defense as we don’t usually expect servers to be filled with kittens like [Mend] the last interrupted fightclub was in early june. You will not justify running through a bunch of people meeting little resistance and then chest thumping it on the forums.
You are terrible and so is your guild. Remember: DDLG is looking for 15 v 15 GvG’s I saw 20+ in your zerg so why not GvG us?

Actually this is funny, we were all wishing for GvG today. Sadly, WvW is not the place to do it. It wastes time. (Albeit doing what we did today could probably also be counted as a waste of time, but it was a fun waste of time) And how exactly did we chest thump it? Do you realize how idiotic this makes you sound and how bad this makes our server look? Now to why it’s idiotic, it’s not a PvE build, it’s a WvW build, HUGE difference. One is meant for killing mobs, the other is for killing other living, breathing, and thinking (most of the time) people, therefore you cannot just as effectively practice in PvE because it’s not the same experience at all. “Testing your skills is kind of worthless”, wow….just wow. You test your skills to become a better player, you may be thinking “well how does this affect my zerg? we have potato amount of people, why would I care about skill.” Let me tell you how, because your group is only as good as its weakest link. If you can’t beat the player in front of you then how will you beat them when it’s group vs group? You won’t, they will beat you. That’s why individual skill matters. That’s why coordinated, skilled players in groups such as KoM and PAXA, just using the ones I’m familiar with for example, can win against twice their numbers and sometimes even more. You may say “well that doesn’t matter cause we don’t fight those groups” but what happens when you find one in open field and they absolutely destroy your sweet little kitten before you can run to the nearest tower/keep/castle and start humping some seige? Well now you’re gonna start losing that sweet PPT that you care so much about because they’ll just wipe you time after time and start taking their stuff back or even yours.

TL;DR – Individual skill matters very much and those who don’t think so are idiots and are a burden to their server.

but heres a new one. A DR thief that glitches from the outside of a closed AP and gets under the lords room and kills everyone in lords with a shortbow. see below the bolts coming out of the floor, hitting me in the middle of the lords room, and the pride and joy of DR himself. classy stuff guys.

It’s not even about that. Fight Night is where competitive PvP’ers go to WvW to compete against each other in one on one situations. It’s a great time for learning, experiencing new builds and meeting new people. Capping a tower won’t teach you how to beat a HGH engineer, or immortal mesmer builds. It’s a time for self improvement something running around with 100 people wont teach you.

Fight Night is about getting together with like-minded indeviduals who enjoy more competitive gameplay, that SPvP can’t offer. 90% of the stats used in any of my builds are not available in Spvp, it is extremely limited on what you can do, but WvW is not. THere are many different ways to build a character in WvW, that Spvp does not offer. That’s why you see many people at fight night, and not inviting people to go Spvp. Its not even remotely the same.

Also, it isn’t your place to police how people play. Yeah, it’s a game, one that people should play how they want to, without having some kittenbag ruin what little fun there was left in a match that was getting stale.

These ‘Leet’ Roamers you speak of btw, were a mix of AR and DR. Tell me something, how is 8 DR and 8 AR going to attack you without blowing the hell out of each other first?

If you’re that bored, you could of just asked for a GvG or something, plenty of DR and AR GvG.

I have to do something while wandering around trying to catch chicken little DRs that seem to know only how to run away or run in groups of 10+. Now take my idea of roaming and soloing camps versus your idea of roaming in a 10+ man wolf pack which version of roaming offers the most risk? Surely not your kitten version!

I will give you an example that happened about 5 hours ago which epitomizes the bravery of the DR solo roamer. I stumbled upon a DR Guardian outside of a recently capped NE camp. Now you would think that Guardian versus Guardian would be a good fight right? Well not exactly. After hitting him twice he turned tail and ran. Now since some of our guys were in the NE camp he could not run there for safety so he proceeded to run all the way to the North camp in order to catch up to the zerg.

I chased him all the way, finally catching him just inside the gates of the north camp and putting him down. Mind you I did wave to him before I finished him off.

It’s Noon NA PDT, 8/1…..you have nothing, zero, zip on EB. HoD earlier had your entire BL (they tried to take everything, but never could take AR’s NE tower). So what do you do? You attack AR’s BL vs. 1) trying to take ANYTHING back in your 3rd of EB, or even step foot into HoD’s BL out of…..what, fear? HOD had 5x the numbers in EB camping the DR spawn point. Literally 30+ HOD came to defend a supply camp me and one other person was taking.

DR BL was fully cap’d and empty.

AR BL was owned completely by HOD and was paper. Small group went there and cap’d everything purely for exp/wvw/gold/etc.

The match up is over and most people now are just taking camps/towers for EXP and not upgrading them.

Citizens of Devona’s Rest, I regret to inform you that you have traitors among you. Look at this kitten.
