Breh, don’t get me wrong. I have some great friends on SF. Great battles and good fun. But we’re bored. A lot of GoM commanders need more thrilling matchups. I’m not making a slight on you personally, but your server is where it is for a reason. We’re structuring and we’re still way up in the numbers. And next week we’re expected to do even better once we get out kitten together.

I speak Gommiebear, so I took the time to painstakingly translate this “Commanders” text:

I think some people on SF like me, but I don’t know that I am just getting trolled. We are tired of PVDooring everything during our “night crew”. GoM commanders need something funny to post gifs about, because they think this game is all about the PPT and e-friends, and making silly jokes on the forum. SF server is where it is at, because they have more population than FC/ET/AR, but less than DR/GoM/HoD, since this is Coverage Wars 2 that is the reality. We are structuring (WvW guild left but we are all happy because they probably actually wanted to WvW, and not jump off of buildings with kites), but we still have plenty of people to follow our pug commanders. Next week we might even do even better, because everytime we win we get more fairweathers on!

Sure, I accept your challenge, only I would like a 1(me) v 20+.

Ofc, I wish I could play the game right now, but I am devoted to create an engine script for a game I am making (and then there’s writing the lore etc.) So yeah, I’m devoted to my project atm only logging in once every 2-4 days.

That is where you are wrong, many people do not think “ET is bad at WvW”, in fact what many people think, is that smaller servers tend to have better quality players. Speaking from a server that has outnumbered, and been outnumbered, it is true.

The more people you have, the easier it is, the worse your build is because you can “get away” with it due to sheer numbers usually.

So no I do not think ET is bad at WvW, I think if they had the player-base that the T5-6 servers have then they would make a lot of you sorry for disrespecting them.

ET is actually much better at WvW right now than it has been in some time. I played on ET since it was in T1. I have also played on various other tiers on other servers. ET is not bad and not great. If you are judging solely based on Glicko, than yah ET is the worst server(for another day!). Rank 23 here we come kittenes!

There are a lot of great WvW’ers that have always stuck things out on ET which I have great respect for. I couldn’t do it. There are times when I just couldn’t take the WvW on ET and had to move to another community for a while. I have high expectations from people in WvW. I don’t care about PPT but I do care about strategy, execution, and the fights. Some days I play on ET and I think, hot kitten we can do anything right now we are gonna wreck some kitten. And then next day I think a parade of short buses dropped all the kids off for WvW day camp. But there are only 2 servers where I could login each day and consistently expect high level of play. Please note that I am talking about PUGS and PUG commanding. Guild WvW is its own deal.

But I have always come back and enjoyed ET. There are some WvW I have been on that I definitely wouldn’t come back to…where everyday WvW is filled with the short busers.

Short Bus was an all asura mostly thief WvW guild from a while back. Havin trouble even remembering what server. Anvil Rock, I think?

Had an epic 1v1 (war vs war) lasted about 15-20 minutes in EB just now before I go to work. Faith in Eternal Battlegrounds is restored.
Added him to friends list can’t wait till after work for some more!

I think it’s a notable fact that after this match, Eredon Terrace and Ferguson’s Crossing will be both above 1000 rating and I think that’s just fantastic =)

Yeap, and quite a few great fights I had afterwards on my Mesmer! I think I redeemed myself quite well! Idn about anyone else but I mainly fought condition engis and mesmers and guardians, but all were good fights! Lookin very much forward to the next chance I get to duel BS again

The T2 JQ/FA/DB thread is catching up in post count. I have been doing my part to ensure we shoot for T2 in this weeks Forum Wars. Please if you have dramas, spark it up and pass it left. I would hate for us to fall into T3 Forum Wars because we all slacked off right before the finish line.

I’ve got more important things for him to do then post gifs, it wasn’t me.

I just wanted to thank those I encountered while roaming with my thief again. Both those I got to spike and for those that spiked me for helping me learn the ins and outs of the class for WvW. Seriously, they were some good lessons. Maybe someday I’ll get to be one of those thieves people curse about someday. Until then, gonna blow the dust off my guardian to get him ready for reset.

Yeah… He’s one tough cookie to take down. Best chance I had was with my hybrid Mesmer, but even then… >.< THCC has a good multitude of high quality players too, especially enjoyed the few duels with their human Mesmer

It was also pretty hilarious to see that Warr and another ET warrior (Forget the guild tag) that had a similar looking build fight each other. I was wondering from what point they were hacking at each other would their HP break from full >_>
