I’m saying you’re wrong, the “small scale/1v1 wvw thingy” is why most people play wvw in the first place.
And saying it’s not balanced is just an excuse for those who are bad at it.

Nothing in this game will be balanced. That’s the beauty of it. You fight and accept the circumstances when you engage and deal with the rest on the way. That’s why it’s fun.

Like I said whatever floats your boat. If you like cheese builds or roflstomps vs bads that are just trying to catchup with their blob, go ahead, but you should really rephrase your wordings. “why most people play wvw”, that’s why there’s oh-so-often 70+ player blobs while maybe 10 or so roam around even in silver and bronze league.
I’m not even most concerned about balance, you can’t balance it all, known fact. The game is flawed in its core by allowing too much damage from def specced at first hand and balanced/off specced builds in 2nd hand. 1v3 is always certain death, because of the base strength (and before ppl post, yes there are builds that can reset fights or outlast the enemy’s (talking less skilled players) damage, but they aren’t available to most classes).
I’ve been doing nothing but fg v fg/scenarios/fg v X in other games, in this, it’s just not appealing.

You didn’t meet SFRJ or DVG guilds? They are like new red guard.

I did, but they didn’t leave much of a mark. Mostly roamed with small numbers (1 – 10) this week, so I cannot say anything about their large scale performance, but when focused by one or two of us they didn’t shine, and even in even- and outnumbered encounters (not in our favour) I think my peers and I never died in a fight with DVG or SFRJ guys involved. Mh…

Very long evening on our home border.
With some nice victories and some tough losses!
Bay was a JS fortress and for a long time we didn’t have the numbers to even get close to it and the French did a wonderful work stealing our T3 garrison with a 2 way attack, while we were wiping the French force outside the gate we noticed the control pad moving, bad scouting :-S
We took our revenge later when we took hills and at the vary same time we did a desperate rush to save a conquered again T1 garrison and we succeeded.
Thanks a lot to all the good player that after the loss of garrid volunteered to scout, they spent a lot of time in the towers and in few “strategic” points to check that no enemies were approaching.

Also thanks to the Germans for being in the open field, from time to time and we had some nice clashes

had actually quite some fun this week in wvw tho, that almost non stop 16 h wvw on thusday were hard and it rly was all just about points, but well sometimes you have to do this stuff.
The leading yesterday on JS BL was okey, tho i would have prefered some more fights.
but most of the time JS prefered to use the WP tactic….srsly why not trying to win a fight 30vs30 !? (as far as i was able to see we there would have been some nice even numbers fight + also both sides just random zergs, no guildgroup)

aso kudos to kodash using the opportunity to cap our upgraded hills while we were pushing for garri…sadly we had no scouts at that point >.<

thx for the nice duels at the jade bl a few minutes ago. enjoyed them more then the whole matchup.

We dont really push too hard when the matchup is like this. yea we were loosing in terms of PPT in the starting 4 days I think but we still thought of it as an easy matchup. We din do many proper raids to show you the strengths of our guild. But yeah if you have played this game enough you will know that 10v10 or 25vs25 is a whole different type of gaming. Our builds are for gvg and not solo roaming. Many of us dont even solo roam except for some times when we have to do the dolyak runs etc to help the server. Besides JS and Kodash was mostly like no one at all or 60 people together. We just din know how to adjust to the variations. glhf in your next matchup.
