Hey you guys are right, HoD zergs are skill-less.

Should make them easier to farm right? I’m not gonna give any super secrets away, but nothing like a couple well placed arrow carts, staff guardians and a choke point can’t handle AMIRITE?!

Think HoD is bad? I implore you to play Kaineng one day. Their zergs actually do have skill, so not only will they mop the floor in a ZvZ fight with your server, their pugs are disciplined to the point where they won’t even break off for a decent small man fight.

You literally fight extremely coordinated zergs all week long. Every person hugs the commanders kitten , like they are still in tier 3. I’m not even kidding.

And one of their guilds alone will take 10 people, and absolutely molest your fairweather pug zerg.

That is something that truly sucks, not a kitten thing you can do about it.

But HoD zergs? Like watching kittens lick the windows on the short bus. Many numbers, yeah. But just PvE’ers lookin’ for a new tower grind. Get your best WvW’ers together, and hit one of our zergs head on and half of em will run when people start hittin’ the dirt.

I promise. Some of my guildies laugh at the things said in map chat and in team chat like ‘Man these guys suck’ or ‘Man they don’t even put up a fight’ but these are the same guys who book it to pavilion farming when tower caps aren’t as simple as building some rams and playing pocket pool.

Same goes for 80% of our commanders too. Only show up when things are easy. Funny really.

Playing pocket pool is actually my only commanding skill atm.

Also we played Kaineng. They made me sad. I wanted skill and they gave me “OH MY GOD LETS THROW BODIES AT THEM” They’re a bunch of glass cannons who need some points in siege defense.

Also, I has a sad.

Say what you want about Kaineng, but they’ve had the most coordinated zergs of any server i’ve played thus far.

Say what you want about Kaineng, but they’ve had the most coordinated zergs of any server i’ve played thus far.

they are co-ordinated so long as it goes in a straight line. kaineng zergs don’t turn well. they go forward, drop all their aoe & dps in a near perfectly straight line, and then retreat & repeat the process. next time, bllades, try stepping to the side instead of facetanking a pain train.

Well I am not sure what they were all doing down there, maybe trading cooking recipes or something. Perhaps discussing the sheep? I did start a bit of a ruckus by tossing a grenade at them. They were ready to attack each other until they spotted me on the hill. I will give them credit however, they stuck by each other when we went down and wiped them.

To set the scene GOM had just taken our NE tower with AR’S assistance.

Gom1 → Well we capped the tower, you get to cap that sheep.

AR1 → I don’t know. That sheep looks tough and there is a HoD up on the hill and only 5 of us.

Gom at the Yak → Help me with this yak and then we will decide, hurry, I am dying here!

AR2 → Kitten this, if you guys want to fight a Sheep AND a HoD I am out of here! I did not hire on for any suicide missions!

Guy from server with 400+ tick obsessed about two other servers talking. Probably being nice to each other in WvW, unacceptable. Request that HoD sends 30+ to go teach them WvW is no place to have fun.

They did the same to us at our keep. On their 2nd attempt (first attempt didn’t go so well….a few omegas and 4-5 alphas all died) they brought a bigger zerg and yet more golems (all died…again) and finally got the keep WW Z style, but I’m guessing it cost > 10g in golems to do it. Ouch. We did pretty well considering we were Outnumbered the whole time (heck, we’re Outnumbered 24/7 in EB so this was no different). Fun stuff!!!

GoM was and will always be my home. I cut my teeth with you all and learned what to do as a commander, and more importantly what not to do. You all frustrated the kitten out of me, but more often than not made the game fun and interesting.

I found the first guild in ANY game that I actually liked in Grape Justice; and friends that have transcended the game to RL friendships.

I am grateful to see that I won’t be losing friends over this, and know that there will be a lot of kitten-talking about those of us who leave. This shows the content of their character not ours. I promise to thread bomb GoM matchup threads, and will keep tabs on you guys as your benevolent watchdog.

I wish I could say something like “I love you all” but that’s hardly true.

Right. Our numbers are top of T7 at best, and our zergs REALLY aren’t as huge as you seem to think they are. For someone who’s on AR, you really have a misguided conception of what a zerg actually is.

Its the GoM hype. That’s it, and now that were actually doing very well. The fairweathers are bringing out their upscales for the easiest leveling ever.

Also, HatSimulator, that hold at Mendons was a good one. Great job for as outnumbered as you guys were.

also, someone once said VLK does small man roaming, all I’ve seen are VLK in huge zergs with the rest of your fairweather PvE’rs

You cannot sit back and say you dont have massive numbers. 30+ taking paper towers all night long tonight that started with a 4 golem rush with over 40

I thought they did that because they felt we put up a good fight and stayed to the end. I found it honorable, not audacious. A rare thing for sure, so I for one appreciated it (as I lay dead, twice, in the Lord room….good thing Outnumbered = no repair cost).

AR might not have massive zergs now, but once upon a time not a few months ago they did. Much bigger than anything HoD could muster right now.

HoD has zergs. We don’t have small zergs, nor do we have massive zergs.

Like I’ve said, our numbers are far from being worth of T5.

Darkhaven, SBI and Kaineng are the servers that would occupy T5 right now, all servers that massively outzerg us by a long shot; we just got out of a week against Kain, trust me, I know.

VLK DOES usually do small-man roaming. We’ve had a much higher participation this week simply because most of us were around and fighting the good fight when we were against GoM for the longest time, so we have a special relationship with them.

Anyways, doesn’t matter what I say, you’re just going to insist otherwise.
