It wasn’t very effective.

I wasn’t trying to taunt or troll. I was sharing my feelings about the current match up. When we draw SF , we expect the doorducking/cannon hugging / lolrun away tactics.

This week I was happy to see Ioj in the mix. Only to watch that hard fighting server turn into a spineless jellyfish. You deserve every /sit spam I hand out for the rest of the week.

P.s check the garrison lost and found. Maybe you’ll find your spine there , k.

Really? All you XOXO must not be on when me and my buddies are on.. Cause every NSP and SF we come across we wipe. XOXO included. Oh well, sorry you couldnt get your good roaming fights in, There was a PvE patch that just happened. About 90% of our roamers are all grinding the freaking AP again.

Fight night at IoJ BL!

I have personalty witnessed “Aggressive” snuggling of IoJ Dolyaks by fight club attendees, which where so aggressive in snuggling that our poor hard working Dolyaks died. I figure it is only fair to return said snuggling to fight club members as well, just with more aggression.

Personally I am kinda sick of people hosting fight clubs on IoJ borderlands. Can’t fight clubs be held in the jumping puzzle? The way point is is basically the same distance for all three servers, great spots for spectating, and less chance of being interrupted by WvW zergs, and distractions like camps and dolyaks. Sure you need to have an EB keep, but if your side does not have ownership of there EB keep. Then you really should help your server out and retake the keep.

As for the small skirmishes from IoJ people, there most likely not interested in them. I personally do not run skirmishing builds in WvW unless I am doing dailies or the jumping puzzle. Why should I stop or any other IoJ person stop, turn around, and fight someone for five minuets or less for little to no reward or satisfaction as there group is fighting tooth and nail on the other side of the map. Asking IoJ people to stand there ground and fight you is rather silly, and if they are looking for a fight as a small group or solo then you would get it. Yes the points don’t matter in the long run but it does show that our server is progressing and cares about the value of teamwork and objective holding/taking.

Sorry if this comes off as harsh but this is mostly what I observed from IoJ since the free transfers where closed. A skirmish build does not bring a lot to helping a large group and large group support will not fair well in skirmishes. As for fight clubs in IoJ borderlands, they will be fair game if we notice any activity. So keep them tight and give no reason why we should send a group to investigate and dispatch invaders.

As for our new additions to the IoJ server, I am glad you are making yourself at home and are happy here. Just know that since we gotten more people, we might be popping ques for EB and IoJ borderlands so we ask that you be flexible in your borderland selection. If any of the new transfers have any issues with any IoJ members for WvW please contact me or one the commanders that post here and we will try to sort it out. We value teamwork and camaraderie since it gets the job done and everyone has fun.

Mmmmmm…..generalizations, delicious.

I fought you guys numerous times over the last few days; I usually go out of my way to either peel off from a group if it outnumbers your team, or chase after you to give you a fight away from the zerg (even if it’s clearly not gonna go my way), because I have some respect for people who try to run small teams.

We’ve been lucky enough lately to have an influx of new people who are learning to fight alongside one another and, as it was said above, we run more of an objective based group; we always have from my experience. If people chase off away from the zerg/group they will hear about it from the commander/everyone. What you think you see may be a combination of these factors, other than the usual reasons.

If the match-ups aren’t playing out how we’d all like, I think supporting the fight clubs is a good idea. Previous threads usually had someone who put in some effort into organizing (and letting everyone know) so the week wasn’t a wash for people looking for smaller skirmishes. I’d suggest instead of insulting our server (and SF), someone try to organize fight night(s). If I know about it, and I’m not working, I’ll show up. I’m sure others will too if they know it’s friendly. There’s a guy in [EDGE] in DR who usually posts a good breakdown of the rules for fight night in their match-up threads that would serve as a template.

In general, I’ve got a good level of respect for NSP. Strong individual, small-team, and group skill, nice people.

First off, I’m glad to see this topic finally get a little interesting. You can thank me later.

Several reasons- The terrain sucks is probably the top one. Windmill has several open areas just the perfect size for these types of fights. EB-JP is notoriously a place where trollish gankers like to hang out, making it probable duels will get interrupted. And a lot of the time (especially for NSP since we don’t ever rly set up “fight clubs”), these things happen spontaneously. Maybe we run into a group while we are out roaming and they fought well or something, someone gets invited to party one thing leads to another and 10 ppl from each guild are dueling behind Windmill..

And just an FYI, you should be happy we are “fight clubbing”. If we weren’t we most likely would be running circles flipping ALL of your camps looking for a fight.

It feels like we would’ve transferred no matter how this week or last week went. This has been building up for some while. Also, us leaving has nothing to do with ZL or MVP leaving as some people have tried to connect, we got tired of the pug playerbase that we had to put up with everyday.

Eitherway, IoJ seem to appreciate our tea :S

Arghhh, I apologize to everyone who was stacked on me and ready to charge into that NSP zerg at Golanta. My client decided to crash, and I can’t get back in ._. Keep getting this dumb error when I’m about to load LA. Restarted and tried to relog at least 20 times, to no avail! Grr, Anet, grr!

Edit: If anyone sees this anytime soon, can you whisper Monowrath and apologize on my behalf?

Had some fun with a guildie playing The Bridge Of Justice!
After serveral wipes from NSP it actually felt good you guys built an arrow cart to deal with us, but never fear, we shall return!

Fun fights with the SPCA/tM mes/ele guys in south IoJBL just now. Tough combo.

I tried to get off a /surprised before walking right into 10 of your teammates after fighting from water, but it wasn’t meant to be.

somehow, while fighting IOJ over durios, and up against the south wall, I accidently hit 5 (infiltrators arrow) on my thief and ended up on top of the wall, panicked over it and ended up running for my dear existence. got killed on the back steps trying to get back over the wall. I didn’t think to get a screen shot, but I did report it as a bug. again, I apologize. wasn’t my intention to bug my way over a wall and into the tower. tried it out on our keep later in various spots, and was able to replicate it only a few times (which I wont state how).
figured i’d let everyone know about the bug here, as it effects everyone if it gets used.
i’d hate to think what a good (i’m terrible) perma-stealth thief could do by getting into towers alone like this. I don’t think any of us want to see that scenario!

Yep, So many bugs and exploits like this in wvw, Found many myself but keep them to myself also. If I were to state them, Im sure so many trolls would make use of them x.x If only anet would acknowledge my tickets in a more serious manner…

Thank you for replying so openly. Honestly one of the hardest small teams I’ve ever come across in WvW. Was super frustrated by you all in the beginning of the week but now I look forward to finding you all. Definitely not ready to fight you all in equal numbers but getting experience each time. Maybe next time we face NSP we’ll have a small team that can fight you. Dat char mesmer… hits so hard! Made me get off my warrior and on to my guard so I could buff us up/heal us up and have a chance lol. Good fights, sirs/madammes.
