The last time this match-up occurred we did that one night, if the zerg is 40+ you pretty much take down the gate just as fast as 2-3 rams anyway.

Surprised FC hasn’t taken over in points. SF usually forgets about wvw when an update shows up. And to AR please take the time in crown pavilion to learn how to zerg. Pve practice for your wvw, just what you guys need.

A shame there isn’t a “How to siege a defended tower” event for SF.

If we had the numbers, you wouldn’t want us to zerg. It would just not be fun for you, besides, you are aware that theres more to WvW then just clumping up and mashing #1 aren’t you ? We could probably take a note from SF/FC and PvDoor while avoiding any enemy conflict I suppose. Keep fighting the good fight, I’m sure those gates will hit you back if you keep at it.

No one is mad. Not any reason to be mad, but all I hear on these boards is how AR needs to look within to fix it’s problems, and how it’s an AR problem. Maybe your servers could use a bit of the same. Fact of the matter is I can do more with less than 10 AR players than a 40 man SF zerg. We had under 10 people retake and upgrade our corner of Eternal yesterday and hold it for a very long time. It isn’t about being mad, there are legit ways SF can improve, and that goes for FC and AR as well. However, a double team decided at the beginning of the match up isn’t one of them.

SF has the numbers, sure, but they are horrible in open field horrible in setting siege, terrible at defense. SF doesn’t lack anything but ability to be a viable contender in the T5 area.

FC you guys lack coverage/bodies(not by much though), and could work more with your PuGs. I know we are starting to do that more on AR, but they are few and far between.
Throwing bodies at a problem may work in t8, but anything past that and you are just a farm fest. That’s just the reality of WvW.

AR mighty upset. They should be training in crown pavilion instead of projecting the hurt here.

We all mad lmao, seriously though all your post’s seem to have a lot of animosity. I understand its frustrating fighting outnumbered all the time, but there’s no reason to bash entire servers simply because you feel like your being double teamed. People simply flock to whatever is simpler to take.

ive been where ar is. done that. had my 10 players. been up against 40 sf with them. i personally am not responsible for any double teaming, and have been vocally against it when i see it happening, because frankly its a tactically terrible decision on our part. and yet several of our commanders dont listen… ones who like zergin around and have a respectable enough reputation to get followed by pugs and ts people alike.

calling an entire server bad because a commander (and im assuming those werent just people inexperienced at wvw) was lazy enough to throw a golem in front of a gate against minimal defenses? lame.

Give credit where credit is due, I have more respect for AR server right than any server out there. Kudos for your effort this week in WvW . Now for SF, what can I say. it is not illegal to Box multi alts. but if it’s the only way you know how to play, I feel for you. when I notice one character running away and another just running into a wall.. WTG!! Get rid of all your Boxed toons maybe you wouldn’t be that bad to deal with. you still have a lot of talented players on your server, but the ones that box just makes a bad name for the rest. No wonder it’s so easy to wipe your zergs, just target the one with 2 or three toons following right behind. oh yes there are third party program out there to control multi-toons. so don’t argue the point. good Luck AR, keep it up..
a special Kudos to players from HOTS and KAOS, the kite flying ELE enjoyed the meeting outside of the dredge. very cool.

What are you talking about? I’m the owner of this guild and drive 95% of the time, but was not on last night. We never portal bomb, then last night we did (I guess my backup driver did it while leading) and you make this post? Lol QQ more. Go read most of your servers posts, all it is about is complaining. It’s a game, if you don’t like it move to a more enjoyable WvW server. Oh yes you might get the “Wah wah bandwagon” cry, but who cares? Unless you play to please other kids behind their screen, then their is no reason why you can’t move.

LOLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZz at the same few of AR constantly worrying about what the other two servers are doing. Same old WvW argument, everyone knows that coverage/population wins the match. Stop insinuating that having fewer people makes you somehow inherently better. When you have 8 people it is easy to see who is “good and who is bad”.

When you have 50-60 (with 20% fairweathers), the ratio just goes up a bit, so it is expected.

TLDR: When you have 8 people they all need to be good, when you have 80, you can get away with having some mouthbreathing facerollers.

FC is getting their act together these past few weeks. Watch out..

FYI the only time we portaled was in no way a portal bomb. We portaled into the kitteneep in EBG when the gate was already down for convenience. Not sure what they are referring to as portal bombing because we never did that mid fight. And BTW we ended up taking the keep so QQ

Alright SF and AR, we need to talk. There are never any roamers from either of you. This would be okay if SF didn’t have giant zergs everywhere, but seeing as they do.. No matter! I give you one opportunity to reclaim your honor as servers. Tonight at 9est in SF borderland there shall be duels at the windmill! Don’t hesitate your mettle against our finest warriors. LOL, first time reading this thread. Love how the forum warriors can’t think of anything new to bash SF about. But we learned long ago, just enjoy the matchup you have any way you can because there is NOTHING you can do about it. FergCross knows what I am talking about (sorry, they would let me type FC and knows without putting kitten in there, guess FC and the K mean something, LOL). You are stuck with your opponents, whether you like their play style or not. I mean, seriously, why do you complain about “SF this” or “SF that”? Should we only send in 10 people to take a keep defended by 10 people? You know if you had the numbers you would not either.

And, I would also like to address the dood who thinks SF and FC teamed up against you. LOL, do you even know anything about SF and FC history? We love our little bro but teaming up against the might of AR?? You can’t seriously think we would team up.

Now, as I always like to point out, I know these folks whining about crap are not the majority of their server and that there are a bunch of good, honest players for each keyboard warrior. So I know AR is not full of a bunch of whiners, probably just this guy and a few more.

Keep up the hard work AR and FC. We know what it is like being in your positions, we each have taken the dive down the Tier ranks, ours was December last year and we are still in the process of recovering from that, even with the numbers we field. It is not easy to rebuild to that level of coordination and especially to bring the new WvW players you recruit up to a level where they can at least actively contribute to the tactics and strategy of the server and not just PvDoor everything.

Was a fun week AR and SF! Also, thx for all the fun duels
