That garrison fight in BG BL at around 5:30PM AEST was great stuff.

Well you have not played as long as others, so you don’t get to complain. Many people need to take some rest and replenish funds.

Except when I was active, I practically lived in WvW for months on end just like many, many others on the server. Of course back then, mindlessly farming champs for massive amounts of gold wasn’t a thing. We had great coverage for every time zone. Now it’s a ghost town half the time. Replenishing funds? For 3+ weeks now? I think that’s part of it but also a plethora of other factors like other games and burn-out with GW2 in general.

Don’t blame the server, blame the crazy PVE events which can yield tens of gold every hour. That, along with all the orr exploiters have pushed the prices of everything up. And mostly, people are stacking up on materials for ascended weapons. Expect it to be like this for at least 2 more weeks.

I really dont get his argument, BG won just last week. BG has good coverage still.

Every server in the game has less ppl right now, because of lack of wvw patches ppl r a little burned out. Wvw get a single cookie once a month, while the pve players get lobster every 2 weeks. Then add in games like FF and u see an already shrinking pop get even smaller

If anet doesnt wake up and give there WvW player base somethings we actually want, i really dont see this game lasting another year, atleast wvw.

Things like

1) GvG arena’s

2) Private commander tags, or atleast better options for commanders.

3) Raid options, such as allowing u to creat a raid of 25-30 ppl and your group buffs only affect thos in your raid, this will also help With creating LESS BLOBS and more open field fights.

4) Fixing WvW bugs, Such as glitching threw gates, wall Climbing, and The all so famous and annoying Group invite and kick bugs

5) WvW lag and Crashes

Dont get me wrong i like the idea of ORBS for giving us somthing else to fight over BUT, I hate thakittens gonna give us a stat boost and give Stronger servers an even bigger advantage. Wish it was a Strong mf gf buff so we could make so REAL cash in wvw

Hello Mr Seigfried,

I concur with you. If BG and SOR could work together especially in SEA time JQ would have some serious work to do. JQ SEA has never been 2v1 for the last 6 months due to the intense rivalry between BG and SOR.

One of the only way for BG and SOR to work together is for the server trolls (on both sides) to keep their peace for ~4-6 weeks. I think we’ll be surprised at what goodwill might result from that. I am highly skeptical it can happen however.

They are just taking advantage of the rivalry to win, which is completely fair. If BG and SoR teamed up, I have no doubt we could push them down to tier 2.

Personally, I like a lot about SoR, especially with respect to TW, IRON, and a few other SoR guilds, until their forum warriors come on here and spew. Anyhow, again personally, I would love to see more goodwill ventures between SoR and BG, would make that alleged “fun” EMP and others on JQ are having become a bit of real “fun” at their expense instead of either SoR’s or BG’s or both our expenses……

As soon as this event is over, Anet will have another carebear PvE patch ready to go. And then another one after that. And another one after that. It isn’t going to end. As soon as everyone grinds out their ascended weapons, Anet will release ascended armor and more mindless zergfest gold farming events. Their entire financial plan relies heavily on cranking out these stupidly boring grindfests disguised as “story driven events.” There’s no end in sight.

The incentives to PvE keep rising while they’ve yet to give us any reason to keep PvP’ing. Why can’t WvW be just as lucrative as any other aspect of the game? Why aren’t there exclusive skins that only drop from npc’s in WvW? There’s so much they could do, so much they need to do, that they haven’t done because they’re too busy milking the whales with their living story pseudo content. The fun of WvW obviously isn’t enough to keep people interested or we wouldn’t be seeing a sheer drop in participation. Anet needs to do something to offset the imbalance in rewards and content. PvE has plenty of carrots dangling; now it’s time to dangle some carrots just for us.

Epic fight with [RATS] fight in BGBL NE tower/Garri. You guys are very scary having all those little asurans show up. I think a graduation should be in order soon.

If only SoR didnt try to double team N tower maybe we could of met again. SoR bored us with 6 superior rams, 1 superior ac, 2 superior trebs, and in the end, they didnt get as far as you all did. And SoR who tried to treb, LOL nice job hitting only 1 wall, newb.

I don’t know how many times a night I hear, “Well BG just did something stupid. What do you want to do now?” Everyone in unison – “Kill BG make them pay.” I’ve stated this before, but apparently no one reads my comments. Actually, I am OK with this.

I have said the same about JQ. I took your Borderland the last time i lead and pushed JQ out. I took all your crap except for the north.

So when Iron rushed your Garrison i had 2 choises. Dig in and hold or go north and take your towers knowing full well that Iron most likely would float to some where else soon. Giving me a clear shot at taking a now paper Garrison.

Instead i went with option “There is a fight over there let’s go join it because that could be fun” and we had fun. Not the smart thing to do, but instead i had a TS channel full of people laughing and joking around about how stupid the fight was getting.

The thing is JQ dose stupid crap all the time that is not in there best interests and during EU they have SoR to guard them because JQ is not that important of a target in comparison. You get a free pass because of your place in the fight.

Several times i would have love to have crushed JQ and there puny force that provoked me by hitting my towers, but i have to deal with the far larger and far more dangerous SoR.

JQ constantly does stuff like they say BG does. Yesterday we put up swords on SoR’s EB Keep, just messing around/clearing siege etc and what does JQ do (They dont know we werent trying to take keep)? What we expect them to do. Attack SM. Ofc we break off, kill them, go back to SoR hunting. So were back, putting swords on tower and what does JQ do? Hits our tower again hoping we are too busy and they can pvdoor. Finally weve had enough with JQ interrupting our fun and caps and just port back and kill them, then push JQ and SoR has enough time to re-take towers, rebuild keep and push us later…

JQ does not know how to 2v1 and im NOT saying JQ had ally with SoR because they were fighting them too, just horrible timing their hits and clueless. Who hits the opposing sides Castle when we have swords on enemy keep? So pointless since if were at a EB keep, we obviously have a nice size blob and it was enough to wipe JQ afterward.

It’s amazing how JQ begins chest thumping as soon as they are back in the game. When JQ was practically ‘dead’, SoR and BG just ignored them, so I guess they are craving attention.

According to IRON’s definition of a ‘wipe’, it isn’t possible for any zerg to wipe, unless they were a small group of 10-15 which got taken by surprise.
