CD, I introduce you the Tc Blobs. They never engage on open field fighting unless they outnumber the enemy 10 to 1.

If that doesn’t happen, they run to the closer tower or WP out.

what’s really really really funny, last night while we were poking FA blobs i typed in map chat who we think we will get next, and everyone was joking “FA and TC, FA and DB, etc.”. Well to that person that said FA and TC…..you boss. Looks like back to PvE for me, i need some more gold anyways lol

The match just started and people are already crying. CD I can understand, I’m really sorry about this, but FA seriously? You’d think after so long with us you’d be used to it. Also pertaining to FABL FA did you forget how to fight or have you been spending too long fighting lower tiers because we shouldn’t be wiping you as much as we are.

I would bet we will do better then db they seem to be falling apart. Fa is always out no matter what. Though I know tc will beat us but a far margin. I can say for certain we much rather fighting you guys then rolling over lower servers

On side note any one during oceanic time during the week want to dual I’m up for it on either my main necro jpsnow or my mesmer sir mez a lot.

Ya, as much as the blob on each map gets old, at least there is something to do now.

I feel bad for CD getting matched with us again, and this time with a second tier 2 server. Its going to be a long week for some of you.

Just wanna say hard fights, good luck! More specifically (and long as this will probably be my only post in this thread and some might be interested I suppose)…

I think anet has a tad too much volatility in their match up system. Also seems they may need to adjust the determination of rating. It’s as if it hasn’t been adjusted to accommodate the RNG aspect of the ladder (ie: get roflstomped by a server for the week driving many to PVE and then get an even higher server along with the one that roflstomped you). I also tend to understate things. Adjustments necessary.

That said, I transfered like last week from SF to CD (hi SniffyCube). Cool learning experience. Lag gets stupid on my end, check through client side kitten and pray I suppose, making some of the larger fights more of a movie than a game. I did literally lol after running around for a while autoattacking taking not much dmg and SMASHING "stand your ground’, then getting hit by like 5 chain down/rallies, then walking away last alive to be instagibbed seconds later. Used to it in some 3 way SM fights but kitten its all the time with this sort of meta. Kind of sucks.

Had to bounce out on raid early so didn’t get the full TC experience but there was definitely some epic times. Hopefully we can all get a decent good fight/hour rate and enjoy the week. Really sucks to see so many people discouraged by PPT, possibility of winning, coverage, outmannedness, etc. RNG in this ladder system makes PPT relatively irrelevant. Imho it really comes to down to the overall community, cooperation, coordination, etc. Even when facing incredible odds just always sort of striving to get better be it call out response, roaming skill, evasion and map/zerg movement awareness, etc. Adapt. QQ is wasted energy.

Best of luck to all of us in finding good fights and good times. There’s no way I could possibly be on CD in WvW and give a kitten about winning. And really… Who should? No point.

In case it makes anyone on CD feel better, we have had very low activity on BLs lately, so at least you can have some fun on them in the coming week between people map hopping to them to cap stuff.

It feels like we’re back in T3.

Except there’s no longer that feeling of “this is going to be a tough week”

Everybody better get used to this match in a hurry. It will only go one way. TC will win ppt this week due to high coverage, and CD will get hit for point grabs by both FA and TC.

TC, I just want to let you know, it’s ok to leave the safety of your blobs and roam a bit more.

The problem with matchups like this is that most likely CD is going to get our kitten kicks and we will gain rank points, TC is going to be overwhelming people with coverage and numbers but will lose rank points. This theoretically increases the change of a rematch. Ugh.

Second, earlier this year SOS has to fight TC for a ridiculous number of weeks in a row. Right now CD has been fighting FA for three weeks. ANet shouldn’t be surprised that we question their ability to properly use rand().

If this rng isn’t working for the players, what suggestions do you have, and where can we place those suggestions?

That way at least the developers will have an idea of what they can improve on.

I don’t really care how much we will get rolled this week, during NA prime (when I’m not working >_<), [EK], myself, and if I decide to tag up, our friends will come out swinging hard every fight. Everyone else may just give up, but we will fight our hardest, and I think we showed that we don’t go down without a fight last night on EB. What I thought would turn into us losing our Keep in the first 30 min turned into us dominating any zergs up till about 3 or 4 hours in. We may have been one big blob, however, how often do you see this from CD? Sorry if you were expecting PvDoor last night on all maps. We made a blob to counter yours.

Look at it this way, week after week, the ratings will "adjust" to be closer to how the servers are relative to each other. I broke them up to point out the rating gaps, not that I want to start narf.
