so why does a bg guild leader asks sor for a 30v30 night and we see this. Does the bg guilds talk to each other about this kind of things?

I’m pretty sure only a few guilds agreed to that under certain conditions (i.e. not causing server to tank if scores were close), and secondly that was a militia zerg led by a MERC commander past our primetime. I mean, we only had 8 guildees with us there and you can’t really tell people to get lost if you are going to be outmanned by IRON in your home BL.

To be perfectly honest, the only guild that can manage that 30 man force on BG (as a guild) in EU is HB if they take a few militia guys. It’d be great if more Euro guilds came over to the NA servers so thakittens more competitive in this timezone but hey we get good fights with a lot less lag anyways as it is so there isn’t much room to complain (the major reason I don’t play SEA all that much anymore as the fights are poor as its usually 80v80v80 and the lag is counterproductive to skilled play).

Anyways, fun fights tonight – I make it my solemn duty every time I play EU to banish wrex at least once.

Is this really even worth posting? Sorry to be a wet noodle, but I just did a quick count and I see 50 nameplates there, and I can only conclude the following:

1) That’s really not that absurdly large of a group. Vale is a difficult cap and can be a huge gamechanger on taking the steam out of a server’s push without 250/250 sitting there at all times.
2) That’s a pug group, there is no majority guild representation in there or anything close to it.

I’m all for hating on huge megablobs, but this is just a rather large group of randoms you have there, do you really expect one of the like, two ESOL guys from that group to come in here and be like, “Oh sorry dudes, I’ll tell all these random motherkitteners to stop doing objectives together.”

We didnt ask for a 30v30 night, but for guilds to run 30 max or split up in more groups. HB have been 16-22 all evening. So far ONS is the only BG guild other than HB that signed up for it, and only if the scores wasnt to close. I am sorry that we didnt have more guilds signed up for it, but its partly my fault for making the post on the BG forum to late.

I will try and set it up again for next week.

Honestly, with the whole league thing the very least they could do is lock transfers/new accounts on SoR/BG/JQ until the other server start to have the kind of turn out we do…

Hello Raven,

Most of us will find a way to fun. If BG server leaders want to focus on PPT and score, then it’s commendable too. TBH, very impressive. As I have expressed to BG commanders, it’s great that BG is pushing. Not trolling.

Most of the SOR commanders however are more concerned about Friday nights and the level of intoxication they will try to achieve. Sometimes I wonder if that’s a good thing or bad thing.

I actually feel sorry for BG. They’ve a really nice bunch of well organised and nice folks on TeamSpeak who run very organised small groups in most BL’s and EB but the problem is that the population drop off in WvW on the server is terrible.

There are times that their smaller groups come together from all BL’s and EB to concentrate as one but even then their numbers are small these days.

Very nice bunch of people but I had no choice but to move server, the number of players in WvW there is continually dropping off and my main fun in the game comes from WvW, however repetitive it may be at times – it’s something that can’t be got in any other MMO.

Personally feel it would be very advantageous for the organised WvW players on BG to transfer over to SoR at this stage, there’s plenty here that would welcome them with open arms, expand their guilds and help their guilds build up again and we would love to have their players here.

There is no drama, there is plenty of un-politically correct messing around on TS and we even get people to do a bit of karaoke every now and again !

The “huge zergs” on SoR are usually guild run semi private events, tagless and utterly organised but there are plenty of very good commanders running tagged up to organise the masses of the rest of the players.

Come transfer over to the dark side BG !

It would be sad if they left , especially since T1 is full of fights 24/7. Also to the person that said they were leaving, if it not true, it is very wrong to say such things.
