To be fair, I dont think anyone, anywhere could have possibly seen this coming. Unless they had some sort of crystal ball, or had actually tried it in-game before.

On a serious note (kind of)→ Change orb buffs to be the outmanned buff. It wouldnt fix everything, but instead of a step in the COMPLETELY wrong direction, it would at least be working towards realistic solutions. Maybe Anet doesnt want that though? I have been seriously considering that option for a bit now..

The post was made (mostly) in jest, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t upset at all. Credit where it’s due, you’re quite good at your class. I haven’t lost to any necro besides you in quite a while. But I’m a little sick of the condition-spam meta, and I know I’m not the only one.

And yes, I’m a mesmer. A pretty good one. I’ve fought against Wafflez (think he doesn’t like me) and Varconi and a number of other XOXO mesmers. I’d wager I know my class—and the builds I’ve created myself—as well as any of them.

Devs don’t actually play wvw, they just follow the wvw players and press their 1 key, silly.

This is pretty much my only reason for liking this patch. Very iffy on the return of bloodlust, but I’ve seen more good fights in the last 3 hours than in the last 3 weeks.

I agree with you, I am sick of the bunker condition meta and perplexity runes, but until anet does something to balance straight up direct damage being mitigated through armor and damage from conditions with a lack of decent condi cleanses on some classes, we can’t really do much about it right now.

Has there been any talk of organizing a double team of CD? It’d probably make the week more enjoyable for everyone, including CD.

And even if we can’t do that, can we at least agree implicitly that letting CD have SM (much less a T3 SM) hurts both DH and NSP?

I noticed several times over the weekend where DH was in inner of SM — maybe even the Lord’s room — where NSP probably could have made a difference by either taking CD towers or killing CD reinforcements, but instead NSP attacked DH towers. In my opinion that hurt us (NSP) over the long run.

Yes, this was actually discussed at the council meeting last night. DH agreed to double team CD with us, starting on reset.

I love the new map as well. It’s fantastic and I had a lot of good fights this afternoon. I don’t think the stat buffs are a good idea at all. There’s already a huge thread in the general WvW forum and pretty much every single post from people in NA, EU, T1 – T8 all hate it.

hey guise at least we have fight club. ohwait, now CD gets +150 to all their stats. Shucks darn.

I say to balance the game if you fight a CD at fight club they should have to start the fight by putting all their utilities on cooldown and using a racial elite and wearing no pants.

I’ll still fight you, extra stats or not. :P

Only thing I dislike is that I will probably run into more than one person, and I know NSP has no qualms about 2v1 :P

good fights against the god/xoxo group at the south temple ruins today. You guys were kickin butt. Felt almost like a wow bg, this patch is bringing some great pvp fights to the game!

I actually really like what they did with the map, and don’t mind the Bloodlust buff .. Its to easy to capture the Ruins that no server can hold the buff for too long, even when theyre outmanned.

Shout out to Os Guild [Os] of NSP. You guys gave us some great fights last night, and thank you for the unofficial GvG. [EK] had a lot of fun. Looking forward to more fights!

I’m currently leveling a gunslinger for WvW and it is pretty fun. Although NPC’s can only give so much enjoyment, come on, I’m in the NSP BL roaming around and all I have found are two guardians and an upleveled NSP who I when I last saw was trying to get their bloodlust up. And an Mesmer, but I hate fighting mesmers.

4 CD in the NSP BL, how do you like being cleaved to near death by one warrior? :P shows you for interrupting a 1v1 downed battle.

CD you have a bunch of brain dead zerg sheep.. u see a server has like 85ppt or less while another server has 225ppt or more.. why do you insist on beating a dead horse?!

also here’s a fun tip.. IF NSP GETS 2nd PLACE, YOUR RATING WILL GO DOWN EVEN MORE AS A SERVER.. ALSO GL IN GOLD LEAGUE.. YOU’LL HAVE FUN GOIN AGAINST JQ,SOR,BG,TC.. enjoy this for now.
