Could you please explain this? From what I have read, seen, and heard, a majority of MERC stayed on BG. If so, how is this a move “about the guild”?

It was a move about the guild, because our active commanders needed more support for our guilds playtime. A number of mercs were nearing burning out night after night covering multiple timezones. Basically from Sea all the way to EU time slots. This moves allows those who stayed with merc and transfered to carry less weight and focus more on our guilds core and our enjoyment factor. I can tell you being a merc has meant you carried a lot of weight.

It was becoming a growing concern when more mercs were scouting for the guild then following the commanders. While very often the many of the rest of BG would follow a merc commander, because at our timeslot of play we were very often the only Tag on all 4 maps. With that said, yes some players moved some didn’t, everyone was allowed there own choice in this matter. No hard feelings. Dred.

Being a MERC carries a lot of weight, bwahahahaha. Seriously with these egos it’s not hard to see why they left for a server that will tell them how pretty they are more regularly. Stroke that ego all you want your bandwagon actions speak more than any of the tripe you keep posting.

Thanks for the fights GD+randoms+few NS/AGG – We had alot of fun. It was a shame you guys couldn’t stay on the map though guessing there was a structure to defend because you left half way through the evening.

Bring it on karps

To the JQ thief and BG guardian with whom I had an awesome 3-way fight for a good 20minutes by NW camp to Bay keep on TCBL last night SEA primetime, thanks for the fight. One of my favorite fights till date. I doubt if the fight would’ve ever ended if the JQ thief’s necro friend never stepped in to interrupt and stomp us :P.

It seems that some of the MERC members (e.g. Tarkus) are shocked/angry at the strong reactions of BG towards their leaving and think BG is ungraceful to what MERC did. I just want to say that the reason there is such a strong emotion outburst is because BG really hold MERC close to its heart and think it as an inseparable part of the big BG family. And it hurts the most when someone you trust completely decide to leave you so suddenly, especially given the circumstances of its leaving.

That being said, I wish good luck to MERC and give my deepest thanks to those who decide to remain on BG.
