Great job SF defending Valley this afternoon. That was pretty impressive pushing us back out of inner, all the way back to Danelon!

Well if it makes hod feel any better,

Some time late night / early mourning we had yaks garison. I hopped on my mesmer and hid in inner waiting for them to recap which they did. After waiting for the sweep I realized that they didn’t sweep cause hod was working on their bay (which failed) and so I told the commander to leave and come back in 5min cause I had inner Garrison. After porting them in we flipped keep super fast. Needless to say the second time they came to recap they swept VERY well ;-(

Lot of people don’t care about doing it for obvious reasons in a match-up like this.

It’s pretty much fairweather heaven in WvW for this server to be honest. They only come “help” because we’re winning, but they’ll most likely be gone during the week.

Same thing happens with us (and I am assuming everyone).

If we were to roll “YZ” servers next week, the karma train would be all fueled up. One day a server will show up that has the same population each week. (Other than the balanced matches at T1.)

Also CoSA has enjoyed the fun fights with GLOB and ONE over the weekend. Hope to see you boys and girls out during the week as well.

I’d like to thank that Perplexity Engie on the HoD BL Sunday morning for being my 10,000th kill! It’s very hard to find solo and duo roamers to fight, everyone be zergin’.

PvD is not really fun, and we know ourselves how it feels to be on the receiving end. I for my part mostly stay in YBBL and defend, you won’t see me in your BL, for said reason. Some of you do come to our BL to fight, and i have seen plenty of small group action so far in this match-up. But it’s not like you guys can’t field larger groups.

And believe me, there are servers with a far greater population than YB around, and not so far above us in rank. If we end up in gold league we will have to face servers that are stronger than YB all the time, but things won’t get better for you in silver league then – but it can always get worse. You may get BP or SBI…

I wish we had that many people usually. When we actually need numbers, like when we face DB or SBI, none of those people are anywhere to be found and we’re lucky to have 20 people total to cover all maps. We face a server they know can’t field as many, and all the fairweather scrubs come out of hiding. We probably could have put up a fight against SBI last matchup if these people had actually had the balls to show up and help.

The yak guild MoB mormans something apparently only believes in jumping people. Happened way too many times for that not to be their battle plan. 1v1? nope lets run until the rest of the crew gets here.

Geez SF, did you guys bring everyone from all 4 maps onto EB?

I’ve had a lot of really great fights so far with both SF and HoD. Both servers have a lot of decent players and you’ve managed to keep things really interesting so far. And what the hell is MoB? I’ve never even heard of them and i’m in WvW every day for hours.

Probably one of the guilds that only show up when the odds favor us.

Well I was holding my own against 3 SF but then got swarmed by 8 Yaks. The outcome was certain but for the life of me I cannot figure out why 2 of the Yaks found it fitting to stand over my corpse and laugh. It wasn’t that they did anything heroic, of fought a fight on an equal footing….I guess if they did not have many kills to that point finally getting one would be a relief.

In all seriousness, I want to take a second and commend YB.

Seriously, you guys have been more than realistic coming on here and stating that the fairweathers (annoy?) you somewhat, and that you are not pleased with the lopsided match.

It is rather refreshing to hear stuff like this, because many servers in your position would be relishing in the “easy” week and enjoying the easy rewards. It shows that you guys have true competitive spirit for the most part.

SF has been camped and has done some camping on servers in the past, so we understand either way, and will keep fighting regardless.

I have had a blast, because there is no shortage of enemies, I could use some more allies but meh /shrug.

All servers have a couple of adolescent players who do that. You’re right, it does p!ss you off when you fight outnumbered and get /laugh. Just ignore. The vast majority don’t use or encourage that emote when fighting. Respect and /salute for 1 v 11 !!!

There was an SOS zerg that ran me over one day and a guy put up a roasting spit over my body. I was laughing so hard I couldn’t double-click the waypoint.

The roaming fights have been a blast this week on SF bl with both servers…I’ve laughed my kitten off though fleeing alongside other SF fighters as 30 Yaks separate from the herd to go after us and we compete to not be the slowest one that gets mowed down. >.<

While the match-up has had its frustrations with being outnumbered and knowing when to run, having no supply most of the time, and constantly defending what we have, it has been fun. Nothing quite like watching that YB zerg roll up on QL or Durios and coordinating our two commanders to sandwich them in between the cliff and the gate.

When you learn to not look at the scoreboard, or care about it or PPT, you start to have much more fun. Things don’t frustrate you as much overall, and you really just realize that you are simply outgunned/outmanned and it "is what it is.

Nothing really wrong with playing for second, probably because everyone does it.

I was actually the one who told them not to come, but I think they had a change in heart. I wasn’t around when that happened due to my clkitten increasing and making me spending much longer away from GW2…though, they can be as mad as they want, I don’t care.

Teq spawns in the area south of Bloodtide Coast if you feel inclined to try him. Again, I haven’t had the time due to this week being exam week.

Has this thread gotten so boring that we started talking about teq? smh
