I think I liked it better when we were out manned than this chasing ghosts match. Wish they would give stat bonuses to the losing teams so it would be more interesting.
Nothing personal but it was our BL and the entire 20 minutes of “camping” had us saying in TS “As soon as they stop, we’re leaving.” but you just kept coming…

Now if you place it in context we were defending the SE tower. You pushed us to the tower, we pushed back. you pushed back and it went back and forth like that. You were after our tower, we were defending it. It was not intended as spawn camping, just straight up defense. You made no effort to go out of your spawn by the other two routes, as you were after that tower. Unless of course you would prefer to have us hide in the tower but Henge does not roll that way.

HoD was placed with YB, CD and IoJ the past 3 weeks so we’re all too familiar with the unfairness of matchup system. AR and ET, just want to tell you guys that we know how you’re feeling. However, you might see a lot more of our fairweathers out this week since this is really our first break in a month.

You’re a funny one, I don’t remember much from reset last night, but I do remember leading Last whilst wiping both HoD and ET’s zerg in our Bay, 20 vs 45 to 50 from both servers, cleaning you off with no casualties at inner.
Remind me again, How does 1 v 1 solve your issue with Shiny, or are you just saying it because you have nothing else to say?
I just sent a query to game support about this. Their explanation was that the lowest ranked team gets assigned to red. The idea being that red has a slight logistical advantage. It’s not playing out this way though. See link below:

And seriously, in a matchup like this, you are running on uplevels??…..then you deserve to get rolled. Last time I checked the score, HoD was winning. Maby you should worry more about them, and less about server class. Just sayin’

If a matchup that you already know ‘server X’ will win isn’t a good matchup to play uplevels, tell me which one is. Because you people will blame the uplevels if you lose a close matchup. Also I had a very good time in the last matchup we got rolled by IoJ. My thief leveled all the way from 20 to 80, and my mesmer from 35 to 65.
Now about the picture: I don’t see a reason for disrespect when you defeat someone… Howeever there will always be some scumbags that find it funny… Well, let’em be… Whatever server they may belong (since thereis that kind of people everywhere).

Fine then. I posted a picture about 2 ppl griefing a dead body. You posted a picture about 2 ppl griefing a dead body; I’ll take you word for it. This type of childish behavior happens on every server. My experience on ET has so far has been that this a community that doesn’t try to propagate that kind of behavior, and anyone caught doing it is called out quite publicly.
But again, based on my observation from being on other servers is that this behavior “seems” to less prevalent on ET…I never said that it doesn’t happen.

This is quite a hostile match-up thread. I’m sorry ET and AR you guys drew the short straw this week, I understand that feeling.
If anyone wants to organize a GvG, or small team fights, or one on one duel, whisper me in game. We can set something up that’d be much more fair and fun for all of us.
Also for those of you who have not read the forums, Arena Net is changing the numbers of servers in the tournament from Two tournaments of 12 servers, to Three tournaments of 6 servers in gold leage, 9 in silver league, and 9 in bronze league.
I know many of you could probably care less, but I figured I would put that out there to my fellow WvW’ers.
I’d just like to congratulate ET on their numbers. I felt bad for ET and FC when you guys where stuck with SF for so long on that horrible matchup. Now when I see that both your servers are getting better, it cheers me up a bit. HoD has been through the same by being crushed weekly against overwhelming odds. We’ve been able to pull it through slowly and it’s a great server to fight in now. Let’s have some great battles out there.

So, we cap our camp back from SF and this is the Dolyak we get from it. Doesn’t seem to have much sense of self-preservation.

Came back later, build acs, balistas and even TREBS! to take 1 camp and still took them 20 minutes to take it back….
