From what I’ve observed it actually looks as if quite a few MERCs stayed.

I personally think buying large guilds is an excellent idea but I also hope that offers are made to some of the smaller roaming guilds left on other servers so that BG will be in an even stronger position to hold the bloodlust buffs.

Didn’t you get the news that some JQ SEA pvers donated 300-400g each person like a big boss sponsoring JQ WVW fund? Yeah, that’s not the reason MERC jumped ship, totally not. SOR should have the same fund too. The difference is only whether the server chooses to disclose it or not.

Mate, don’t be short sighted. It actually tells more than that, the fund can be used for purchasing seiges, upgrading work on the battlefield or helping other guilds for upgrading.

Lets say if TW guild was screwed by some insensitive hackers, lost everything in the guild, as part of SOR community, what would you do?

Why would Bg need to buy a win? If things stayed the same we would win. We have lead T1 in wins and now points not from tick. We have been losing guilds left and right yet still constantly win. Can the other servers say that? Waha quits this summer , JQ tanks to 3rd. Indo goes on a business trip , SOR tanks to 3rd. Has anyone guild / guild leader tanked BG?

Last week was more interesting than this on TCBL. At least BG and JQ fought eachother at all. SoR camps a north tower while BG rushes garrison. We still manage to have less than both zergs despite having over an hour queue on the map.

What’s there to discuss? A few months back there was a commander on Blackgate with an Anet tag that purposely lost us Stonemist on a reset night, declared ‘my work here is done’ and promptly logged out. One person with that symbol does not reflect how the company as a whole operates.

EDIT: It also does not mean they are a developer. Just an ArenaNET employee.

No, But the person currently using that tag is representing the company any time that tag is on. It may not reflect each person individually, but if a few people do this from the company it does ruin the whole image of said company. “A few rotten apples can ruin the whole batch”
