Uh, no we didn’t attack before every round. lol, there was one member with his tag off, and another had his tag on that did attack you, I watched him messing with you guys after you attacked them first. They were just kidding around. That guy logged off well before RATS invaded the windmill. oPP was off running around roaming the map between the time he attacked you and later when RATS jumped in. We were not trying to ruin your GvG fun.

They probably got attacked first as they were standing right next to us while we stacked might. …. so we had to kill them to get out of combat lock. That is kinda considered ruining a gvg. I’m sure any other guild doing a gvg would kill the person doing the same thing.

I really checked the video from minute 33:00 to 40:00 (i was making breakfast as RATS went down south) and as the engineer of RATS doing the stream goes down, your blob leaves to the left and behind you is a large green force around a pin. If you you continue to watch that fight keeps going (on both sided of the water) until you lost 60% of your force and run through south camp after losing all but 5 of you.
If you really call that farming, I no longer wonder why BG keeps recruiting guilds.
You need every single corpse as a meat shield to cover your “farming”.

back to yesterday. Thanks to everyone involved in wvw. It was a really funny night with RATS, even on a level 23 warrior in the front line. Thanks to RET from FA and the bg guilds involved on JQ bl.
My personal highlight was the last attack on our field trebs near hills. Our zerg went to get supplies and I was eating breakfast while “guarding” the guys on the treb as I saw the bg map zerg coming down northern hills. I don’t know who the commander was, but i really felt sorry for him. He ran up to us through massive ac fire and aoe and getting killed right before my position while his zerg was at least 20 seconds behind him. If I hadn’t stopped my stream after the first part of the night, I would have made a braveheart video of this. Freeeeeeeeeeeedom! (no pun intended. I really liked that)

Sorry man. our 25 players could compete with the awesome rat 40 to 50 man force with constant respawns. We did kill an awful lot of you and we didn’t respawn till the very end where we were actually trying to run away because we had other GvGs to do. Either way it was fun.

Just so you all know what RATS is composed of, the majority are up leveled Asuran characters. So, if you get steamrolled by an upleveled group of new to WvW players being trained, there may be an issue at hand

I know we didn’t get steamrolled though. You can even see in the video linked ! we were having fun the GvG was over and we knew they were coming.

You might need to participate in one of SoR’s counting workshops. The majority of that zerg was not upleveled. There might have been a lot, but I tabbed through and found maybe 10-15 uplevels.

To be fair we wiped you at the GvG, which happens, nobody is REALLY prepared to be attacked by 55ish Asura at a windmill…

But then you rallied up all the ONS across the river by your spawn and we wiped you out again. =) It’s all on video.

RATS won both, but very fun fights thank you. The first one was really fun just a super kitten fest. ONS clearly knows RATS are inc and jumps RATS right before we get to the windmill. Various pugs from all sides jump in, carnage ensues. ONS rallies up and has another go at RATS, another fun fight. RATS take both wins. Also note ONS guys…this is by YOUR spawn not ours :p (Somewhere during 1st fight RISE commander says freaken RATS! and goes and makes a sandwhich.) 2nd fight vs ONS is at 8min.

No GvG was even interrupted. A GvG did ensue though!

Great fights RISE, and BG (could not pick out a guild)! We had fun ending our night in JQBL, rushing into BG spawn to see which one of us could make it the furthest.

I think it’s funny how anet is abandoning the gvg scene and basically not giving a single kitten about dedicated, hardcore wvw’rs. Look at how much feedback/views/hype wvw has and then look at spvp. It’s so dumb. In the long run people are going to stay playing gw2 because of the wvw and not the silly, broken spvp or the INTENSELY easy-mode pve that a blind person could button mash their keyboard and win…. How they don’t understand this is beyond me.

I would like to thank everyone who’s taken one for the team and posted scarx’s enlightening video- if you haven’t seen it yet and are interested in what Anet really thinks about wvw, either message me in game or on here and I’ll hit you with the link.

Also- ty for the gvg tonight ons, those were some intense fights. Lord knows we need to enjoy them while they last.

Thanks for the fights this week, good luck FA in the next matchup; hopefully you don’t get matched up with BG/SoR/JQ as I get the sense that a lot of the FA guys felt the squeeze of fighting outmanned in coverage gaps. Hopefully the new maps will bring people back to the game, as it’ll punish the servers that super stack and help those who have mod WvW pops (via queue times and PuGs).
