The matches you had were all based on the rank you had going into the league. I can’t give you an example from another league since you only want to discuss Silver. Yes, some servers are still going to get blown out. (Top of the league will blow out the bottom and middle). Though I don’t think some of the matches were thought out properly beforehand. Since there is multiple weeks were the top of the league doesn’t have to try and get bored themselves due to the lack of competition. In my opinion WvW will never be fair unless ANET themselves even out the servers coverage and stop transfers to another server. BUT that will not happen since the transfers are a big source of revenue.

On a side note they are fighting again on the 7th week. That week will likely decide if its a tie or if FA will win.

Every single league is a one/two horse race. What did you expect with 9 servers per league?
NA Gold – BG & JQ
EU Gold – Vizunah Square
NA Silver – FA & SBI
EU Silver – Desolation
NA Bronze – HoD & SF
EU Bronze – DL & RoS

It will always be like this because servers have different strengths. Only way to avoid this is to have each server be equal in strength and you know that isn’t possible with 9 servers.

ofc, this was such a bad idea. These are the least interesting matches I’ve seen in all my time in wvw. The only consolation is I get to gvg with some guilds I wouldn’t otherwise see, but from a purely wvw standpoint this is a pointless exercise anyone could see would turn out this way.

There has been several QQ threads about population disparity. Is this a surprise? The point of WvW is to have uneven battles.

If you’re not happy with the score in your league, I suggest transferring to bronze league. While the overall league winners are predetermined as well, none of the matches are blowouts. If blowout matches are discouraging you, this may be the cure.
