There was no thread, so I thought I’d start one.

Could be an interesting Matchup. It was over 5 months ago that Abaddon fought Underworld. I hope everyone has fun this week.

This matchup will definitely be a … challenge … to Underworld. :P

Great matchup so far, had more fun in wvw than i have in weeks! I really hope this will continue to be an awesome week of wvw.

Also to the millers/abaddons we fought at the top of jp for an hour or so, Really awesome fight, you kept coming back despite all of our knockdowns! i hope to see you again in there!

Great matchup so far. The blobs were smaller then i expected them so far and we enjoyed ourselves quite a lot on Millers. No chance for DEX to whipe the Abbadon’s group though. Gl and Hf to everyone participating in this match!

Quite some pressure on Miller’s Sound borderlands with both servers squezeeing us, our small group of ~15 people got stomped a lot of times but we had fun flipping some of your towers and hills !

hehe tbh I am kinda scared to run in a small guild group at the moment. I did so for a very short time yesterday and we were constantly running from groups four times our numbers. Eventually ported back to home since we were loosing too much of that as it was.

Gotta say abaddons, fighting you is like fighting a bad joke, you belong in a higher tier where skill is meaningless and numbers count for everything, not against opponents like UW and Millers, I mean 60 people to flip a camp, 13people at the start of eb jp, six of which were commanders. I mean honestly, When i get asked to describe this matchup it will just be “how many abaddons does it take to change a lightbulb?” “depends, how many are online at the time”. Good luck miller/UW this week, hopefulyl we’ll get some good fights.

Can’t actually say that i don’t like this matchup, because so far giving tons of loot, those huge zergs are amazing to get loot from, so please guys, keep it coming Enjoying pretty much.

Just one thing, Abaddon’s guys…(some guys) If you got 80+ vs 30 guys, and you win the fight, you shouldnt stay there and laugh… That’s stupid you know?

Camping in bay for a while when the whole AM zerg (60-70+) was running in. we hold them for a longtime, that was great, they got whiped by maybe 30-35 guys.

Dont worry UW, it will only get worse during monday – friday. If you put up a bit to much resistance during primetime, half of them will log off to go to sleep, and only to wake up at 2am to PvD all the way untill 11am… you got a “great” week ahead of you, so good luck!

Also, SLAY, if you kill them to many times, they 60+ blob will even WP away even if you run in a group less then 15 people…

So, to be honest, friday evening , we read the names of the servers we had to battle with, we all thought: This is going to be a karmatrain week. I thought about to switch to kodash fo a week, just make some holiday there. But since yesterday, i like this match up.It looks like, that all our “we-just-want-karma-players” are gone. ,)

Smallscale is possible again and i had some great fights yesterday. We battled you guys at the hill on Underword-map the hole day. We capped and claimed the hill and startet with 5-10 ADAC Guildmembers and it was frustrating to see your huge group of underworld players. It was a challenge for us to beat you, with not more than 10 players. We died, we won, we screamed and we were excited. At 7 o clock pm, our guild group growed, as it used to every evening, to a number of 20-25. Sorry for that, but you cant forbid your own members to join the WvW.

Thats my view of this match up. We will run only as a guild group of 20-25 members this week. Hope to meet you. ,)

Thank god Splinter Cell was released friday…..

The pve patch seems to have mostly killed the biggest night/morning zerg trains off from wvw across all tiers. Very confusing to see such close matchups , instead of the normal matchup is over before the weekend after one server ticks 600-500 every night and morning.

You’re forgetting something… You were 10 but each one of you had a Superior AC, you had like 7 sAC’s on each outer gate, and whenever we could breach the outer gate, 60+ abaddon’s would jump our 25man “zerg”

And if you tell of 60 Abaddons, its just a big lie. We were about 10players at hill for more than 3-4 hours. As i told you before, our menpower get stronger in the evening. Sorry for playing in the Primetime….. .

You were not 10 people, maybe 10 of 1 guild and 15 pugs.
DEX tried the whole primetime to get back hills, our guild group size was 5-6 people yesterday so we decided to run with a tag. At max we had 25 people with the commander, while Slay had arround 10 people. Inside of Hills were at all times atleast 25 people with AC’s. You had so many arrow carts that our rams were down before the gates reached 50%. After we finally took down the inner gate we got the report that a lot of people came from the south, and yeah then we faced again 80 people(its the number with 8 and then 0), when you see that many clients in wvw you get skill lag. Dont forget the AC’s they had.
The way you behave here shows how your server works, you are disrespectful to your enemys, you dance and laugh on bodies and you obviously cant count.
So far we found no small group on Abbadon that we had to take srs, most of the time they run away from even 5-10 people until they have 30-40. Maybe that will change??

Thats your point of view agrios – sry – but if we have inc at our hill, we of course write it down in the map channel. Sorry, but do you have an idea to regulate the pugs? What do you want us to do? 2 Members of ADAC were in the hill, others roaming around. If someone calls , that there are 20+ enemies, of course a lot of players first run to the hill instead of waiting till you guys beat the lord.

If someone of ADAC jumped on your bodies – excuse me! We will talk about that kind of inacceptable behaviour in our TS. Believe me or dont, its not our nature to blame others. We had some new players joining us the last week. Whatever – sorry, if a ADAC member made this kind of sh… .

I just had to get the numbers and the situation clear since the posts above showed 2 different sides. Also the 50 more that came in everytime we nearly took it came from other borders but who cares.

Every time we breach hills they just mass port from another map, kill our small group and leave… Impossible to reclaim hills at this hour with the numbers you guys can produce. We’re barely 20 on home border :|

I understand you guys – and i accept , that you are angry about our huge blobs. So i wish you, that it will be better from Monday on. And i wish you , that you never have to battle with Elona , FarShiver, Riverside or Vizunah , Desolation etc. .

I can promis you, that the hole yesterda (Day!! not primetime!) there were just a few players on your border. We joked in the TS : ADAC against Underworld. Since 5-6 o clock, we were outnumbered! Thx for the buff. ,)

So nothing to say but, pls dont give up. Its of course really really bad to fight against a server like abaddon. But we of ADAC hope to meet some guilds of you , running in a scale of 15-20 members.

Dont forget that we turtle arround rank 19-17. And it wont be better in the week because our population also drops down. And probably even more than yours.

If you would have more population on your server (you dont, so you have a broken leg) , you would have more players on your maps, not only guilds,but a lot of randoms (pugs) . Try to organize these pugs without an commander tag – an i ll clapp. Its not easy for our commanders.

Pls bring more people to Dawns. Its getting boring in there…

So fighting Kodash with Buka, MS, WdR and NSG or Millers with Wipe, No, Pony, etc there was no Smallscale possible?
Because in those Matchups you balled with up with 40 Randoms to a 70+ Zerg lead by ADAC and CE.

No1 hid there, You’re 70 man blob jumped on us, our 20guys went there to stack and we pushed back, Lame is having 70 guys killing 30 and laughing on their bodies

Nice to see ADAC guys running in that blob too, after saying they would run in guild with 20-25, and see some them laughing as well

Abaddon must be really afraid of us that they resort to using an omega golem to take a wooden keep at 9 am while everyone is still asleep or at work. Outmanned on own border.. well enjoy the easy wxp!

Yesterday eve we showed what Underworld is capable of. We wiped wave after wave that in the end I had to open over 60 heavy loot bags. We kept hills the entire time (at least until about 11:30, I stopped commanding then..). This shows how much both servers rely on their numbers rather than tactics. I think there was only 1 or 2 groups that actually did stacking up & buffing up. At first MS left the map and eventually Abaddon withdrew from the border seeing that they didn’t get any further anymore.

A big shout-out to my fellow underworld players and especially my guildies for the amazing work they did. Without you scouting for us & flipping things on the other side of the map it would have gone much worse. Thanks for escorting dollies as well that caused hills to upgrade & so everything repaired.

Anyway, we’ll probably lose a lot this morning due to people at work & sleep and then I’ll just remind myself that we’re 6 and 7 ranks below both servers and that according to MoS we should have been roflstomped harder.

And yup all keeps lost because AM resorts to 3 omega golems in the morning. We only had like 1 party of defenders. Enjoy it while you can, because during prime time you won’t get even close to garri.

Funny to see Underworld complaining that much. Since Monday we fight 2 vs 1 on Eternal Battlegrounds. When I joined yesterday Miller was attacking Quentin and Underworld on Durios. I played 6 hours (5pm till 11pm) and saw Underworld take 1 tower of Miller and vice versa. That was the one time Underworld and Miller attacked their thirds. Rest of the time you guys attacked Stonemist (which belonged to us after taking it from Miller) or had to defend. You simply don’t fight Miller and they don’t fight you on Eternal Battlegrounds.

In the German forums Miller posted a screen from yesterday morning when AM had 0 points. Strange that Miller respects the border of Underworld (they did not even take 1 single tower from the underworld borderlands or the underworld third in Eternals). And you cry about fighting blobs, we fight 2 servers and are still standing.

If we don’t dare fight Miller’s? Sorry man, but with all due respect, are you blind? We took the whole MS BDL right after we went EB to cap SM and your T3 keep… Stop saying nonsense lies and get your “…” on the battleground so we can get more loot

And again we can see the small scale fighting of Abbadons Mouth. The only small things that i see are the skill level of the AM people and their amount of organisation.
Oh wait we should honor them more for steamrolling wooden stuff with 80 people against 15-20 defenders. GG from DEX for that! Keep the good work up!

I can’t believe that Abaddon got completely wiped from the map, grats to Millers, you truly did the anti zombie servers proud do the same thing to Riverside and I’ll turn into an MS fanboy.
Millers Sound really is an amazing server, I remember some of the amazing moments I’ve had in our encounters. One of my favourite moments was when your server had a keep tagger that was so good that they managed to avoid detection for 45 minutes (I ended up congratulating that person and then giving them 2 gold for their efforts)

Cant stop laughing, I´ve seen enough large Groups from Blobber Sound or if they were alone they run away. Dont say so stupid things without any evidence. We never say that we only Play small scale. This week we often run in Groups 20-25 but you MS, you were even more than 50 so what do you think we do?

Everybody hating AM for the same reasons sure must be an issue with all other servers. Obviously not with AM.

And when ADAC says they run 25 ppl, they just didnt count the 30 randoms sticking them.
Even if 25. This isn’t even remotely small scale.

Holidays over, getting to play less, mostly at prime time. Perhaps the blobs are more annoying for UW morning crews, but I kinda enjoy the blobs. A blob is a walking loot tree. You give a nice hard kick, you get heavy loot bag in return. Yes sometimes the tree falls on your head, but what to do. Overall I think this week was a nice change and challenge for UW, and I consider this week a success for us. Lets keep having fun and dropping phat loot to one another!

Well Millers must be so proud, bringing 15+ to Bay against 6 of us & yet they still need to AC glitch from north door…
