To be honest it was probably TC placing second last week that caused SoR to get kinda peeved off, as seen by guilds like Choo that tried to 2v1 us BG bl from the start of reset. Neither JQ or SoR have the EU population to compete in total numbers to ZDs, let alone all of the militia that follow them and the numerous other EU guilds on BG so people seem to be pushing less hard as they could, because whatever they do doesn’t really matter. The “agreed” upon 2v1 was a myth for the most part, although I did have one SoR commander approach me but we agreed to play naturally without formal 2v1.

I’m not demeaning BGs EU efforts, as they run very tight and are skilled as hell – but its hard not to acknowledge the lack of forces matched up with them on other servers.

We can agree that no JQ EU guild have the numbers to stand up alone to ZDs, but IRON did have the numbers when they were on SoR.

Also your comment about "let alone all of the militia that follow them and the numerous other EU guilds on BG " is wrong and you know it. Both HB and Coin run untagged and ask the militia to leave them alone. Only RK runs tagged.

We have welcomed the fights from JQ this week, and even though we miss IRON, its still nice to have SoR back as well.

Last I just want to remind you that before ZDs joined BG in week 2, we had a max of 2 queued maps ( BG and EB ) at the start of EU prime every kitten night including saturday in week 1. That was ( one of ) the weeks where you had 2-3 hour queues in the same timezone. So your comment about coverage in EU prime doesnt really add up unless you lost alot of EU players that I havent heard about ?

Yeah I’m aware of the pop pre zds as I took the militia when you wanted to run unpinned and I ran the militia preleagues also on jq. Just speaking from experience here, in those first weeks of leagues we had a lot of na militia that would log in early and were unused to WvW so we had queues on two maps (jq and eb). We didnt lose eu, its just that people started playing as usual again.

Clearly Sor is in bed with BG, and have been dating for this season. Must Be proud to be in SOR, helping BG, and still not doing well. Lots of Blue on the map, yet, BG wont attk their preverbial “girlfriend” doing “favors” for them. Proud proud SoR.(and no spelling isn’t my strong suit)(although, if that’s all that is attacked about this “true” statement, go on with your bad “used” self)

They do have as many pve’rs as us, but like their wvw’rs are baddies compared to us, so are their pve’rs in comparison.

Jade Quarry has no moral footing to stand on. They had the easiest draw, they spent 20,000 gold buying guilds before the season, and they still failed.

Jade Quarry has the coverage to match Blackgate. In the easy matchups, their maps were queued throughout the day, but they chose not to show up when it mattered.

Perhaps next season, Jade Quarry’s gold would be better spent on buying some server pride….

JQ did not have to do anything to keep ATM because ATM was never leaving in the first place.

JQ did not buy MERC, we had approached them at one point in an attempt to get more than 30 people on between 12pm cst and 5 am cst and nothing came of it. Weeks later, things were rekindled and while some gold was given to help get them over, MERC paid for themselves to transfer.

You actually approached MERC? Knowing it would tip the balance in a whole timezone? that ATM force wasn’t enough? I just lost a kitten ton of respect for JQ, not that I had much for them to begin with….

Some exciting fights lead by @Tarkus.4109 earlier in the day. We took Hills in JQ BL with less number. BG burned 400 supply and left us about 150.

tbh that was when the other maps consolidated onto JQ bl which didn’t have queue when WvW pinned down. Yeah we probably had more numbers but w/e, that guy dodging off the cliff was pretty funny.

One of the best time to fight on JQ is your early/late time because that’s when you get to hangout with players from all 3-4 continents.

On a serious note:

I think that offering to help new teammates with their move to the server is one of the nicest things a community can do. If a guild wants to play with you, it is nice to extend a hand to help them rather then act like they do not deserve to be on your team. If all this is true, then I think it is good.

All I’m saying is support your server, there is a lot of BS in politics. Post this stuff in your communitys forums, posting here is only going to make SoR look worse. It won’t help your servers recruitment, which public image plays a huge roll.

Yeah. We’re back to 5 minute queues tops on BL’s even in prime time now. It’s great, but peculiar at the same time.

To quote at 3:00, “Not to have these 2 stacked kittening bullkitten servers that have nothing else”

BG had the roughest time before the leagues losing guild after guild and having coverage whole for 2 timezones and losing a series of matches just before the leagues begun. Other servers wrote us off saying we would have no chance at #1, and we would only be able to play king maker. But just as the season dawned upon us, we came out swinging with a surprise win. Call us stacked, only play for ppt, etc. but BG is the most friendly and welcoming community I have seen in this game.

As much as I sometimes curse our PVE’rs, I admit that they were vital in this win. They closed our coverage gaps, even disorganised, they fought hard, and the score board reflected it.

Fun Fact: The SoR High Council assistance package comes packed to the brim with bread.

Yes, the committee has changed the “not buying guilds” stance because a majority of the guilds represented said go ahead. On how the committee is represented it’s been repeated many times through channels and server reset meetings. Again, there’s no secret. No high/war council, it’s just a simple setup of a committee to help the community. Indo has given his blessings and still remains the Speaker.

I am sorry that you feel excluded. Hope to see you in game more often.
