Eva I think you joined the wrong server. When I first saw one of your posts awhile back I was just skimming and thought it was from Evilzara and I was like what? wait a minute? This good, pleasant, level headed, and fun post can’t be from Evilzara, has Evil reformed thieir ways? Alas no, as I went back and read more carefully you were new to BP.

In fact, most servers would have posts about contacting the leaders and making sure the people responsible knew that glitching into someone’s citidel was known to be something the server did not condone and to stop doing it. And if they continued, their own servermates would report them. But with BP, as you can see above, you have people coming out and defending it.

I do recognize that you and one other person from BP condemned it. But you have to admit, at least among the forum warrioring BP, they are a clkitten act.

Now, this could have been the gate glitch that happens by accident. And this has been gone over in our last thread and recognized as accidental and people were told on SBI if it happens to not attack but to run up the stairs and out of the keep immediately.

It could also have been someone hacking into a location. And if it was brought up, SBI leaders ask for screenshots or names (not posted on the fourms but contacted by pm or in game) and we then talk to the individuals or report them ourselves.

Alas, many accusations of glitching into towers and keeps is actually Mesmer portals which I wish they would stop their ability to port people through closed gates… but that’s a different conversation.

I know in the HIGHLY UNLIKELY event I ever went anywhere else, it would probably be either AR or SF. Again though, fat chance of that. I’m tied to [SLVR] through over six years of contribution. Not likely to stop now, as [SLVR] is a fixture of Ebay.

What you’re talking about is not merely having fun. It is cheating. You can call us cheaters when we spew out information about what we see in the citadel. However, (as I’ve already said multiple times), we did not do that. I do sincerely apologize for my guildies killing those vendors, THAT is a bad thing to do (as I already have said) . You can fly in the sky, as long as you dont have an orb and it makes it game changing. You can glitch under the keeps if you want. As long as you dont kill siege or take advantage of the glitches. Point made yet?

I was actually sitting outside of SW camp on the small hill to the right for almost an hour when you guys sieged it up and you definitely had 50+ so if outmanned was on (it wasn’t up from the screenshot I’ve seen from BP) it definitely isn’t working correcting. Sounds to me like more BP rhetoric about not having numbers or relying on numbers.

Instead of all pushing in at once, we made multiple smaller pushes (mostly GH and Hawk) to clear siege. But congratulations though on holding probably thee easiest camp to defend and siege up with way more than you needed lol. Proper SW sup defense, you surely don’t need 50+ lol.

I mean, look at this way. We could’ve used some super BP tactics and played for PPT and completely ignored you, but we’re always up for a fight and we had just come from wiping you guys at inner bay.

Just like having someone from an Ebay guild transfer to BP and then stand around in EB BL while his guild is running on the map and admit to being in TeamSpeak with them. Is it possible for him to tell which direction people are going, where commander tags are located, what’s being said in map chat, and if there are golems being ported around? Absolutely. Look, the guy was really nice even while I gave him crap, and he may have been very honest and ethical and said nothing to his own guild that would have given them an advantage – but it doesn’t look good.

Yes, I am talking about glitching through towers and keeps when the wall or gate is not down. Sure, It could have been a mesmer a few times, But on BP forums. We have videos of SBI glitching through the walls and gates. I can understand if it happens once. As that is what happened here. Just because a few people on one server glitched doesn’t mean the whole server is full of cheaters. But we have seen 15-20+ SBI glitch through a tower or keep gate/wall. Not just once, But constantly. (I’m not saying that all of SBI are cheaters obviously, Since SBI consists of more than 20 people) Capturing and defending structures grants points, Points is needed to win and get score. Attacking and defending structures is one of the main objectives in WvW.

And yes, The Citadel is supposed to be a safe zone. Which is why they could not do anything to any of the SBI players as you were safe since you were invulnerable.

Borlis Pass frowns and discourages upon exploiting. But we don’t have control over those specific people. The best we can do is tell them to stop or to report them. I’m not entirely sure that this is considered as an exploit, However it may be. But it doesn’t have that many harmful effects, Especially not compared to glitching through walls and killing the lord in 10 seconds so that no one has a chance to react unless there is already a large force inside the tower or keep.

Yeah, those Krew tend to stand out from the rest pretty often. Numerous times in the past match up we had them beating down a lot of our off peak Eternal smaller zergs, with way less people. Every post has been constructive, or to the point. Fact is more guilds in gaming today need to act like that, and less like the million GOON knock offs with the trolling. Its overdone and cliche. Cant imagine why they stick with BP though, gotta be hard having people running the other way all the time. Good on you, Krew, will zerg you hard with the train one of these nights. From the looks of things, it going to get pretty quiet the rest of the week.

Well, I would have to say that using an outside program to change the physics of the game doesn’t compare to glitching into a hole in a map in the spawn area. I know actual hacking violates the TOS, I am not sure if Anet has a “don’t go where we don’t want you to go” clause in the TOS or not. (It would be an interest clause if it does exist considering how much of this game is based around trying to get to really difficult places for fun, prizes and advantage.)

I get your point about not wanting people to spy. These guys have said they weren’t and personally I believe them, but it is a good idea not to do anything that could be used as a exploit, even if one isn’t exploiting.

The interesting thing about all this is that the result of bringing up the fact that someone could spy on people’s golems by doing this is probably :

The number of people newly informed that you could spy on golems by doing this is exponentially greater than the number of current golem spies deterred.

I would bet 95% of the population, even if they knew how to get in, wouldn’t have thought of it. We tend to attribute to our adversaries a level of planning, sophistication and ill-intent that is rarely warranted and ends up with people having massive overreactions, example: the Cold War.

Yeah, those Krew tend to stand out from the rest pretty often. Numerous times in the past match up we had them beating down a lot of our off peak Eternal smaller zergs, with way less people. Every post has been constructive, or to the point. Fact is more guilds in gaming today need to act like that, and less like the million GOON knock offs with the trolling. Its overdone and cliche. Cant imagine why they stick with BP though, gotta be hard having people running the other way all the time. Good on you, Krew, will zerg you hard with the train one of these nights. From the looks of things, it going to get pretty quiet the rest of the week.

I’m sure that you said nothing of your exploits in map chat, that would leave evidence that ANet could verify, and it’s not like players communicate using any other means like Teamspeak, Mumble, Ventrilo, etc…

I have morals, and cheating is something I don’t do. I am the leader of Slay, and I was in a fractals when they did this. I joined them afterwards, and my, its pretty fun Now, if you can’t see that we were merely doing this to troll people, there is no hope for you trying to understand this sort of point of view.

I find people running/hiding from me too. I actually find it frustrating…

1.) Friendliest person EVER! I’m here to play and test myself, foremost. Anyone ever notice those I compliment most are often those I got thrashed by? Also been known to assist obvious enemy uplevels in getting vistas, etc.
2.) I’m okay, but nothing amazing. Hardly all that scary. Despite my will and effort, which are second to none.
3.) 9 times out of 10 I will NOT attack first, unless directly threatened/provoked or you’re preventing me from my objective (capping a camp I want, etc). Seriously, test it sometime. Hop out of your tower nearby and stand there. I’ll probably take a few steps forward and stand there wondering why you stopped.
