Awesome reset! SBI and SoS gave us a run for our money. While CD burst out of the gate, the other servers were relentless. Glad to have fought against you all, and looking forward to the rest of the week.

Odds are this will be our last week together, and while new opponents are very much appreciated, I have a hard time imagining they’ll be as formidable.

So how’s the match-up been?

-Oh man, what a reset night …SBI BL was a blast , great fights against SBI and holding keeps.

-On another note ,having fun with SBI in CD BL , it was late.

-In the 3rd screenshot we were in a " YOU SHALL NOT PASS" moment, and getting all that momentum and get EXCITED! , what you know 1 SBI showed up behind us at the wall " eh , thats just one " , another two showed up " umm, couple of you guys go handle em " , 7 coming up on the wal" oh..ya we need to get up" BAM 15 coming out of the door, and then it turned to be…a leeroy jenkis moment -_-!

Thank god it’s the last week because I actually wanna start you know… winning. These great skirmishes are enjoyable no doubt, but there comes a point where you wanna see the fruit of your hard work.

The only question now is whether we’ll be stomping the other servers or getting stomped next week.

i think the best moment of the month in this match up is when SoS pushed for CD BL’s hills and got the inner gate down and we were at the back of that gate and they didnt push (they had alot of ppl ) and the reinforcedgates upgrade finished.

Great fights CD on your BL. That was a ton of fun we were working hills for a bit and you guys just kept pouring in. That time up by inner we have about 15-20 inc behind holding us from pushing in. We were setting up a portal and then boom gates upgraded we all had a good laugh.

That upgrade at Hills was indeed one of the best moments from the night. Our last push on SBI’s Garrison was fun too.

Awesome fights in SoS bl tonight, had us floating between SoS bl and SBI bl that CD group were really organized. Had to actually make us think lol well done.

Had a fun time on SoS BL last night. Us from CD were trying to play our best smoke and mirror games. Actually took Bay and held it for awhile. Hoping the rest of the week is as much fun as reset was.

I was helping defend Hills in CD bl last night. I logged on, ran to hills, and charged into battle. Then a guardian from SoS threw me off a cliff and I had to start over from spawn.

Most people that have moved over from my guild love the server and we love the wvw community here. I feel we should have moved ages ago because this is just a better atmosphere even as far as opponents go. It’s sad we only have a week with you guys (with partial players) because you guys have been really classy on the forums and on the battlefield.

I cant even name those people/servers who have been up to no good again this week. I hope along with new content the exploits are fixed and the exploiters are perma banned.

I’ve played wvw on 4 different servers and in countless match ups against almost every server since launch… I can tell you there’s hackers on every server and there’s trolls on every server… bringing it up here is beating a dead horse because 9/10 of the time the server they are from has no clue what these glitching individuals are doing. Also, there are some dirty guilds out there that won’t kick members, but if they are wearing a tag, you should try to get in contact with their guild leaders so they can get removed and reported (once against almost every decent guild will do this)… also, anet does take its sweet time banning for these kinds of things so you have to just be patient.

Hell, give me the locations and I’ll go to the bl if I’m not busy and have the whole guild send in a report… but other than that it is in anet’s hands.

Read the old match-up threads. No matter how you look at it there is a certain server representation in this match up that definitly does it way more than the others. Especially when it comes to fully upgraded towers.
Speaking frankly, even if you take the assumption that you get some on every server and i am agreeing that they dont represent the whole server, sos in this match-up realistically does not even need to bother. In any case we can simply wait for oceanics. Still, my experience has been a different one regarding those things. The enemy turned up with 6 golems, true, but almost never doing the nasty. If we dont adress it we accept it and it becomes “normal” and pugs will start running with those since they dont know in the first place.
But as someone said already, one week to go and things will change hopefully (and maybe some things get fixed as well). No use in getting worked up about it now.

This is our last week together. Let’s put all our efforts into it!

We had a nice train of resetting SBI/CD border with fellow SoS guilds. I think we did CD border 3 times and SBI twice. It was fun taught some new mesmers how to port etc. Back to the game.

Be intresting to know what server you are from but i think i can guess. But the point is yes it happens but today alone its happend twice on our BL alone, again just now as well (that i know of). We need to be complaining and reporting the cheaters more often, alot of people dont bother with the reporting and thats half the problem. Just saying it happens lets get over it wont fix the problem. For SoS as a server we not going to lose this match because of it, but thats not to say we shouldnt keep bring the topic up.

Simply put we should be working together to watch out for these “players” and report them if we see them. The fun is really been taken out of wvw the last two weeks for alot of people tho that wont stop me playing.

I’m from SOS… So I guess that makes the rest of your post kind of redundant. I have actively seen you try to get players to check sbi spawn for golems(thankfully none listen) so seeing you derail the thread by pointless accusations of exploitations is hilarious. Yes they happen. ON ALL SERVERS. Report it to the relevant authorities, build a bridge and get over it.

CD had 5 people on the map last night. Probably because all their stuff was green.

So it was easier to start clearing out all the places that SoS weren’t until we had enough people that it didn’t matter where SoS were. With the calibre of players on EB at that time of night that’s about 60-70% of the numbers.

CD only fights when we outnumber the enemy? You should’ve seen CDBL bay keep at around 4-5am server time. We definitely did not fight with number superiority. As for hitting hitting keeps, contesting keeps is a legit tactic and I don’t know why you wouldn’t do it.

Also, there’s no such thing as food that stuns you, you probably just got hit by basilisk venom.

There are runes that have a proc for this, it’s hardly abuse to use a rune that exists in game, right? As for the rest of your post – “duly noted”. Perhaps you should consider sPvP, it’s always equal or almost equal numbers and nobody contests keeps there so you can always take available on the map waypoints. Maybe you will be a bit less upet about a thief that killed you this way.

I feel this might be directed towards us… yes, our thieves contested your whole map… so you couldn’t use the waypoints, and yes, we had 5-6 rangers entangle your zerg when you were running away from us.

I don’t see how this makes us “dishonorable” …?
