This week in Desolation WvW the game feels dead, most so called ‘WvW guilds’ are only doing GvG or only have once a week WvW events.

Nice post because it shows the true. Last match we did against ER and VS was something to remember, a true 2v1.

All of this from a frustrated server “I want to be number 2”, some of you guys are pathetic.

The Crown Pavilion stole SFR players too,….but we are actualy not sad about it.
Having no, or short, queues at 18:00-19:00 gmt+1-2 is very nice.

Yes I know many of VS players didn’t like the behavior from ER on the match I’m referring to, I saw many times in EB map, VS attacking ER, but some pathetic players from ER side keep doing is 2v1, ignoring completely VS map.

Well, for me Kingface it’s a guy that loves the game and its server, many times I agree with him when he talks about the game.

Today I had lunch with a very nice thief of the guild [Meta] at Desolation Map Lowlands.

Agreed, there’s basically no loot left in WvW, no matter how many you kill, and considering WvW is quite a gold sink…

…Seriously, WvW was crying out for a buff, and Anet have just wrecked it even more O_o

No no no we are a heavily populated PVE server with only a couple of wvw guilds who raid a couple of days a week, sometimes we have people tagging up to rally some pugs but alot of time we rarely have enough to do anything apart from playing defensive and trying to ninja things when the time is right. It’s a sad thing to see atm and with bi-weekly PVE updates it isn’t going to stop.
It is how it is though the only thing is that our guilds has had to pick up the slack more but it’s not been enough?

It has nothing to do with prime time, we always have queues here due to the guilds raids and it’s probably the reason we are always winning tick wise during this period.

Where it hakitten us it outside of prime time, the morning, afternoon, and the night. We really have had a noticeable lack of players this week, even on Saturday when we were winning after reset not many players logged into wvw. This surprised me personally as I thought everyone would be like ‘holy kitten , look how well we’re doing in wvw against the two best servers.’ Sadly, that didn’t happen.

sad for you. you should be happy though you team up with vizunah at early morning wipe 5-15 guys we had online because everyone else prepare for big push at 7 and as punishment we only decide to take your keep-.-

I have no idea why Anet stated that they have increased numbers in WvW. I remember fighting Vizunah and other servers that every border was packed with people!

I dont even have skill lag anymore because of the 20 man groups that you only see nowadays.. even from Vizunah side.

WvW is dying.. and there is nothing we can do about it.

You are seeing a decrease of WvW players for 2 simple reasons:

A) some of the achievements for the last update to living content are incredibly hard, requiring hundreds of tries, so lots of people are wasting huge amount of hours in the pavillion trying to complete the achievements before they get rotated out
B) for whatever reason, Arenanet has introduced several incredibly rewarding gold farms with this update (to the tune of 15-30g per hour) so lots of people are farming their hearth out

I was just guesting on SFR.

It seems pve is dying.

I could roam in Orr for 10 minutes without seeing another human player. I went to Crown Pavilion. SFR didn’t even have any overflow there! And their LA was without overflow! Pve commanders were also missing (well Crown Pavilion finally had a pve commander).

Oh my! Here in Desolation we have a thing called pve. ;-)

I heard rumor that one sfr player tried to get that stupid black minipet, but everybody laughed at him and he rage quitted.

When the going gets tough, Deso gets going.

miraculously the ‘crown pavillon who killed our wvw and blah blah blah" seems not work at night, you know when all players go to sleep, if you got some “you know what” come play when we all are here, it’s vacations no ? come play the afternoon, until midnight …
dont continue to zerg aftermidnight and saying “no anet killed all the server”, “they all play in pve”, “we will not play points this week”, “the vacation is the problem”, “we don’t have enough players” and other kittenty stuff (like the awesome kittens you say)

Desolation force to south. Vizunah and SFR were allready fighting you are just coming in when the fight is over and most people all allready dead. yes GG:)

no, no, no… “true WvW” is what sfr is doing. 60 man (not a blob, mind you. a nice small sniping guild squad) resetting morning True skill.

Seafarer’s Rest think they have skill because they have points from nightcapping.
When Desolation or Vizunah has even numbers they run and hide behind 10 arrow carts.
