I’m actually feeling a bit sorry for Whiteside Ridge and Blacktide. After several weeks of zergy fights against GH and RoS, most Dzagonur player most likely will enjoy this matchup and our fair weather players will be coming out of PvE.

I try my best to only do solo are small scale (<= 5) roaming and looking forward to some good fights. It has already been a few weeks since my last time against blacktide but i actually can remember to be fighting some good players there. Can’t remember any guild tags though…

Wasn’t bad last night, after the double reset. Dz brought the expected numbers to our BL, and after several hours of too’ing and fro’ing it seemed to even out. Mention to DZ guild HOT, some good fights last night, looking forward to more.

Note to the WBC thief who just fought me north of south camp: Do not use daggerstorm against a mesmer + 2-3 phantasms with retaliation up ^^

I’ve really enjoyed the back & forth in this matchup. Yes we’re (BT) a bit outnumbered but there’ve still been some great fights.

Just a fun threeway Fight from yesterday.

Nice fight against BT at their hill with [WvW]
BT with 40-50 who respawned at hill and us with 17-22
Nice fight over 20min. with much kills until it was too much
more of such fights!

Today i see 70+ dz in Bt bay- long time ago dont see zerg wars in wvsw

Dz yu really have numbers- yes they are not skilled player but in zerg its easy

I think we have a strong flux of Players in WvW, right now it seems we are winning good so many join WvW for some easy points, Levels, Loot you name it. Those people vanish fast when things get tight :p With some exeptions i guess that is true for every Server.
We even had Que’s for Borderlands yesterday evening something i haven’t seen at all, exept on Reset.

Comes down to lag and try to avoid my own Zerg in the Evening but ofcourse to counter such masses enemies are also running mostly zerg exclusive even hunting 2-3 People with 30 for quite awhile ^^

Well, that’s your opinion. I see things a little different, while winning, we’re already loosing rating points. On Sunday I already guessed we’re gonna loose up to 50k until end of the week, at least now it seems to end a little better than imagined.
What most of us Dzags do this week is totally bullkitten. I think there are tons of players that only enter because they think we may have an easy matchup ow want their map to be completed. With that what I saw this week by our server, Gunna and Surmia would have spawncamped as last weeks. Even the commanders seem to suffer blackouts. Saw some of them doing mistakes, I wouldn’t even believe someone with a fresh bought bubble would do them. I know they are great comms, used to have much fun with them and I sure will have again, but this week is embarassing.

Also since i don’t zerg i can’t comment about that anyway. For the Points that just Glicko, Gunnar get his kitten kicked and will make probably 50k+ ^^

With the new matchup-system, glicko is all that remains. who cares about victory in an uneven match? RoF for example won’t be proud to bash their opponents, but FoW can at least be happy to gain ratingpoints. PikenSquare is 2nd, I’m sure gunnar will feel much better then they do.

Having good Fights remains. Who cares about glicko? ^^

Edit: Also we farmed your entire EB population as a revenge for u killing us, what was it, 3 times ? Also you forgot to mention it was those 18 WBC + 3 people on raidcall that wipe you & swat & ur pugs straight back out of our lord room in gari

Well, DZ might have bigger numbers overall, but what I often have come to see this week was a BT and WSR monubus cricling the maps, fighting 60vs20-30 and often enough losing.

You do really like berserker gear though. Never seen so many big numbers on me but also on my opponents as this week.

@TEO: the last matchup you told me to talk to your lagengineer, instead of ranting. You were right saying that and so this matchup I tried. All I got was denial and flame about my skill, even though I didnt lose a fight. Apparently now its my connection, and the one of all the ppl I play with too

Yesterday I killed him on the Quaggan Island. He was downstate, I was in the middle of the Island and was dealing damage and seeing numbers even though he was swimming towards garisson in downstate. This was after a 3 minute persecution with tons of teleports from his side and infiltrator strike from sword porting anywhere but to the place he was shown.

Please talk some sense into him, as there really is an issue with his lags.

I hope Anet fixes it for him, as I doubt that he enjoys playing that way either. Even if he doesnt admit that he lags.

I am glad when this matchup ends. Noone to blame, but this weeks smallscale action was pretty disappointing.

We never start as a blob, but Dz always gave us little choice to stay as small groups. when there’s 100 germans in your bay, you can’t do much with your 20 people, so you made blobbing up inevitable ( not you per sé, but the players on your server ).

I have been in Bay with a 25-30 man HON +pug zerg and whiping >50 WSR guys repeatedly. Plus another 30,man guildzerg of germans who was at northern towers. DZ did split up a lot, but hte less objectives to take, the more concentrated the players are to one place. But trust me, ze germans werent the biggest blobbers this week

I dno about BT, didn’t have the chance to see them much this week. We were pretty busy holding of 2:1 & 3:1 ratios in our border most of the time.

Of the servers we meet most regularly ( Dz, RoF, GH & AS ) Dz blobs up the most. Or at least it seems like a blob ‘cause of sheer numbers on your server when you have this match up ( ie, lots of wvwnewbs joining in ). Not saying your guild blobs up, I didn’t really meet zumy this week. But the guilds in our borders loved to do that.

Naturally to counter a blob, you need a blob, vicious cycle – blob wars 2.
And same counts for us tbh, we wiped many many times > then our numbers this week.

25-30? Plus what? another 40?
Lets be honest the numbers were not fair at all, though WSR had blobs at somepoints in the week it happened like twice where as you guys had it constantly, I’m surprised we actually came second.
Oh and those 50 WSR guys you speak of were from two Borderlands who had to be called for backup due to your 80 man zurg sitting on trebs hidding our walls on inner.
Which was hilarious, anyway.. Good luck on your next match up and always keep blobing, seems to work for ya!
