I a going to be a bit pedantic here but I got to say that when you say Zerg it has to mean overwhelming numbers.

15 is not a zerg. I would call that a group.

This has been a problem in /t and /m chat where noobs in WvW suddenly report zergs and you go there and its 6-10 people :/

What a remarkably convenient definition of zerg, I love the way it dovetails so neatly with your ramblings.

Gandaran guild groups often tag up on enemy borderlands for tracking; it’s something we do to try and avoid stumbling over each other’s fights, and also, as a way of calling in aid when we do meet an actual zerg (like the ones RoF and UW are perfectly capable of fielding).

If Kerrigan had capped her forces at 15 Starcraft would have been a very different campaign

I feel like I’m being ‘attacked’ here for not using the word zerg in the way you want me to? It’s not even relevant anymore since Parthis edited his earlier post.

Always ask numbers in /t and /m, and even then don’t I wouln’t believe it. If i believed them all, Gandara had 120 ppl on our border last night.

Yeah we ask for numbers but sometimes you don’t get an answer and either check yourself or wait for the followup of more reliable info from WvW regulars.

I get when the enemy does not render and its hard to tell the exact numbers, but when you get false reports of zergs a few times too many that is when you wish those people had played starcraft and know what the zerg rush strategy is.

I can’t imagine how that would be…I hope we wont face em soon………..Tho, I can imagine 60 omega golem rushes, since our dear friends from AG showed that to us. Also being golem rushed everyday is like part of UW guilds daily routine, so it gets boring and makes lots of ppl sick.

10:00 – wake up
10:30 – get dressed and prepare breakfast
11:00 – get online with cup of coffee
11:05 – move to the BL
11:06 – gather people since outnumbered
11:10 – take back N towers with 5 ppl.
11:20 – try take back garrison with 5-10
11:32 – kill the 5-10 golems
11:35 – get some dollies to garrison by flipping camps
11:50 – gather some more ppl and attack hills —>10 ppl
12:05 – gather some more ppl and attack bay --> 10 ppl
12:20 – take the supply camps and get dolyaks to hills and bay
12:50 – take Lake and briar
13:15 – get stuff upgraded
13:20 – run towards lake or briar, to defend against inc people.
14:45 – scream for ppl on guild chat and team chat because the next golem rush happends again.
14:46—> .. : .. pray to keep it.

That has been our schedule vs AG, FR, FSP, GH and also now Gandara.

1. First screen. The ranger jumps outside.

I once commanded my zerg into attacking the red keep watergate, in EB.

Half of them somehow glitched in, including me. Me and some of the others guys jumped out, but some went and destroyed siege. Called off the attack..

The Tower in the screenshot is LV/WH/Sunny

I mean if I am understanding it correctly its not one bug that will fix every bugged location they have to go to each location and fix that location’s bug.

So the hackers still exist….
Someone destroyed ACs in Briars, despite well out of range.
Just had a gandara necro do finishing move on me at garrison watergate. It was stood right near the water, I was half way up the steps. That is a new one on me.
No shame some folk….

Yeah that picture was taken on Sunnyhills tower.
We had 1 sup ram and 1 normal ram. the finish of one ram made this member pop into the tower.
Since i dont like exploiting i called him to come back tho, or atleast stay in untill the gate was breached and stick with the gate.
And yes, this has to be fixed. but when this happens in our group we wont exploit, we care for fairplay and a good fight

lots of weird lag today, I could see commanders warping all over the borderland like pro hackers. Don’t worry though, after the patch tomorrow, all maps will be really empty anyway.

One fun moment when our 8 man guild party saved Durios from the ÄÄ group and the UW pug zerg(?), repairing that wall wasn’t actually mean to save the tower, more like annoy you a little luckily we were able to finish off those that ported into lords and our infantry commander arrived just in time to bail us out and save the tower.
Other than that been dcing left right and centre tonight, lag is insane.

Good fights still this week, keep it up guys had the RoF Zerg before owning ours with nice tactics and coordination, although we had a new commander without communicating anything, the way they fought was both encouraging and nice to see. Also always nice to bash heads with [Rain], your little laser bolt spitting Asura Engi and the hammer toting heavies you guys have make for intense albeit painful battles.

Lag was too horrible for us, hope Anet fixes this soon or it’s gonna be a PvE week. At least I got my fractals to 10 now

This night was a bit laggy, so ops were cancelled :’( Then i roamed a little, with nice fights (gg with an amazing thief, and a engineer…. This one put a cow in my face, agh)

Surprise, 20+ UW in ‘watergate’, gate was 40% O_o. What to do? Only 4 in the keep. A nice Gandaran and I put 2 supplies traps after watergate. I love when these explodes, and better after a gate… They are so tight! All affected…. Or almost. Then we built 2 sup. AC. They managed to built 1 normal ram! XD it was down really quick.

Then they decide to send a group to resuply, and the rest started to destroy siege… At this hour only mortars and canons. The gandaran sneaky one, don’t remember the name,started to repair the ‘watergate’ until 7-10%, i decided to put my last trap.

When this one was activated, a really nice image of 20 guys (to my children i will tell they were 40) jumping out of our keep!

Was fun! Nice try UW! Cy in battlefield, and remember, Gandarans are starting to use Traps! xD

I’m positive that most of the steady WvW guilds on Gandara really don’t care about points/placement anymore. Why would we want to raise ranks when all it means is we get to fight the German blobs more frequently?

Also, keep in mind that Gandara is a heavy PVE server. The Crown Pavilion and the Ember farm are stupidly lucrative right now and won’t always be there, leading to a population drop.

To the thief today stood between Lake & lowlands on UW, thought you were afk at first, then saw you twitch, so dropped supply crate on your head as ran past for giggles.

Erm, you probably shouldn`t of tried to fight out of it when covered with confusion.

I don’t know your guild. What lack of teamwork are you talking about? Guilds do a lot of inter-guild working, often front a zerg and tag up when the going gets tough, etc etc.

Everything you’re mentioning is entirely in your hands to change/improve.

I’ve been having a blast this matchup. There are zergs from all sides at peak hours, but for the most part there are a lot of fun smaller fights. Much better than most of our other matchups.

Two fold my post. 1) to rekindle my affair with xXx with the question “What is the reason why you don’t GvG?” Serious question.

Yeah I do have tag but my computer cannot handle larger scale battles so I stay away from tagging during prime and doing it late night if needed during defence.

Its not really the guild teamwork (our guilds can have amazing teamwork) but the server as one, we are scattered even when commanders are on the map.. we dont follow or listen anymore.. (its not about solo roamers I can be one of them aswell)

My guild is only a few irls but we try to do our best in defence and mini missions around borderlands and eternal.

I know theres alot I can do myself and I have been trying… last 3 weeks I had a bad sleeping schedule and been defending our keeps from 1am to 6am almost every night and trying to help commanders like Redball and others.

Maybe I’m just frustrated after a week with Jade sea and Elona and some others aswell..

But asap when new patch comes out we lose all keeps and its a massive amount of champion bags so I guess there will be none wvw from gandara..

A thumbs-up to the RoF community for having balls and choosing the fight even though you are outnumbered.
Its just warming my old PvP heart to see a little outnumbered group taking on organized guildsquads..even though you might not succeed.
