KN is too kitten to hit HoD ironically if they would this match would be close. Week 6 HoD/FC/SF is the real championship match.

This would have been way more interesting. No one from any server will stray from the zerg, if i catch a HoD or KN player wander a bit from his zerg, he wps or runs at full speed. This match is boring, Kn is a kitten who won’t defend any of its stuff or EB for that matter. HoD is dominating Kn and taking its stuff, while Kn comes to our Bl instead of taking care of their own stuff. Atleast SF would have given HoD a fair fight. Lets not forget that SF would turn on us for PPT though lol.

yeah Im not saying your server is bad, just too many PvEr’s and fairweathers out there. I ran into several people that did 1v1 me and then I killed them. Soon after no one would stray from the zerg anymore. On top of that I have to ditch my roaming build because I just get spammed Immob from warriors, seriously every group I come across i mainly get killed by warriors somehow immobing me to death, even my stun breaker doesn’t work. I have to spend 2 stun breakers before I break free and sad part is by then my blink will reveal me…

it’s a warrior trait called leg specialist in conjunction with sword mh1. Also, you play a mesmer, soooo pvp easy mode gogogogo.

I hope you know what you are talking about lol. If you think a mesmer can pvp easy mode, sure against 1 person, but zerg wise, please make a mesmer play against warriors spamming sword , come back to me and teach me the build, plase it should be so easy, k thnx I will be waiting. I have to say, it has been wonderfully refreshing to be in a matchup that’s actually even keel, rather than having either no chance or worlds that don’t even come out to play. FC seems to be making a healthy comeback- those zergs have been huge! Here’s to a fun week of matchups!

@Moon: Sadly Charr are outcasts for the most part in VLK (Fish hates us with an unknown passion for some mysterious reason). Second most of our warriors are not Charr, I can think of 2 out of the top of my head.

@Advent: In our (Multiple Roaming Groups Conveniently Converging On One Spot At The Same Time) or MRGCCOOSATST for short we actually lack mesmers and thieves. But our roaming groups which should be awake around this time usually have at least one or two of these classes. I personally run thief while roaming and am usually with a few other VLK roamers.

I wouldn’t call this match “even”, but its not completely one sided. Kaineng certainly isn’t the server it was a few weeks ago. We’re trying, but its just not enough.

Frankly, I’m amazed we have wvw’ers still out there, after all the beatings and transfers we’ve had.

There have been times when we outnumbered our foes, yes. But I can guarantee you that we fought quite a few fights tonight where we were the outnumbered ones.

I’m sure [VLLK] as a group has been outnumbered, but i do recall you guys having a few puggies with you. Kaineng would probably not outnumber anyone at this point, even at our best numbers, we’re still small in comparison to what i’ve seen HoD and FC have.

Someone said if KN would just defend what they have we’d be fine, truth is, we don’t have anyone to defend. 1-5 guys max that respond to a tower or keep getting rammed or hit by golems will not stop you guys or even slow you one bit. The only thing we can do recapture those points back and hope for the best.

Nope, not every lvl 80 mesmer. If you were in HoD BL you may have been downed a few times by my Mesmer and he is not running perlexity runes nor is he running a condition build.

I wish to thank FC and Kain. I have not played that much since reset but have 236 kills and 15 world ranks since that point in time. Got to love my mesmer build!

I’ve been downed by quite a few mesmers this match up and vice versa so I wouldn’t be surprised if I ran into you and died. Either way, you win some you lose some.

Not saying this about you, (just in general for this weekend for some reason) but I do recall quite a few people who didn’t take kindly to losing and just logged off before i could get my loot bag. at least be a good sport and allow me to claim a victory prize even if it is a crummy green or light blue weapon lol. I think i’ve done my fair share in giving bags out so be nice and don’t rage quit people

No. Your little group of guardians there would outnumber us on our best night. Sadly, we’d just be feeding them bags instead of getting any. Hell, we’re losing Bronze match-up still. I predict Kaineng will be bottom of Tier8 by the end of season 1. That’s how bad our numbers are at the moment. Wait till we fight DR/ET/AR…you guys will get a better picture of our population.

I was running around doing stuff, and this guard attacks me. His guildies around six or so don’t do anything because I guess they wanted to see him beat me. Anyways I beat him (like there was any other outcome). I don’t stomp because it’s common courtesy. Then they all try to gank me.

I don’t usually like to post with smack-talk, but you’re literally begging for it with a run-on like that and I aim to please. Based off the time of your post, I can guess exactly which “spawn camp” fight you’re refering to with an “equal fight”. And, guess what? I’ve come to give you a lesson in math — how to count higher than when you only use your fingers! You can use your toes when things get complicated! I’d help with your English too, but I don’t have nearly that much free time.

If you look at the picture below (Silent’s screenshot), you’ll notice that I counted a grand total of 7 people on our side. I stopped counting your side at 20 because, frankly, my eyes started to hurt and I didn’t want you to have to put your hands in your pockets to keep up. And we still managed to kill some of you before you all ran back into the tower and hid.

We just play to have fun. We run around trying to find roughly even fights, and then we YOLO it while laughing at each other for dying. I’m not sure why you seem to think we bring the server down.

@Everybody else. Try and keep it clean guys. I’ve seen a lot of players running around that I can respect, but the number of emote-spammers is insane this week. I can understand spamming emotes to try and get a group to engage you, or because they were already spamming them. But the whole “Let’s emote the dead bodies when we tripled their numbers!” is getting annoying. >__>

If kaineng didn’t give up so early this match would be more evened out. FC has the population for this and ive seen that SIlver Footman of theirs so I know they got experienced commanders ;-)

In regaurds to the Mesmer issue. It is difficult to hide inner hills but certainly not impossible even with a sweep. Servers are fighting hard and they have to step the level of play up a notch, aka everyone that actually wants to hold a keep should be sweeping for several minutes instead of the t8 30sec/incomplete sweep.
That being said, I was in a BL today where people were saying that a Mesmer was lying dead at gate. I said, DC timer will get them and they said there is a way to prevent that and an hour later they were still there dead… I thought Mesmer rezing through gates was taboo anyhow not to mention lame. I think portaling keeps in general is lame so I stoped doing that after a Saturday night of doing 7 inner portals in 4hours.

Oh FC, who is the red female sylvari guardian commander of yours? Seen them all over the place and learned to start gunning for them in every fight lol. Its not taboo to gun for commanders is it? ;-)

Although I died by the water gate twice on my mesmer, both times my corpse kept a bunch of FC busy guarding while HoD rammed the gate down. I was rezzed…from the inside! Had a few people doing a “swim-by” every now and then. It was hilarious watching all the FC congregate by my corpse thinking we would stoop as low as to rez someone through the gate! FC was played at their own game!

Just saw the fc silver knight in EB at mendons tower, they died ;-(

Main difference between HoD and FC is that HoD is usually more spread out, using multiple medium sized guilds across 3 borderlands. (Unless EB, that’s always a cluster !@#$ regardless.)

FC usually runs in one or two massive groups moving amongst all four maps, most likely due to every fair weather on the planet gettin’ all giddy about these new WvW achievement points and chests.

Total numbers overall, yeah i’d say HoD may have more people. But I wouldn’t say we vastly outnumber FC overall. I’d say we just spread our peanut butter much differently.

I totally agree HoD has more numbers and that is the sole reason why they are winning. This whole blab about how they are better spread out is just funny. The only thing that ends up ruining our BL is those large 50+ zergs from HoD. If it helps you sleep better at night you can believe whatever you like to though.

:) It’s never been a secret that numbers and coverage win wvw… no use QQing about it in every single matchup. When we talk about being spread out and such, that much is true. If you are seeing 50+ zergs, they are 90% fairweathers, I guarantee it. I went to EB last night after finally getting by the queue, and I have never seen so many people. The best part was, our commander ran every single one of them off a cliff to their deaths… now that was glorious.

Hey Bllades but I must disagree. Yesterday I popped into EB since roaming solo or duo is a death sentence atm. I come into EB and there is no commander from our side. Everything is being held by a ragtag group. So I popped my tag and commanded for several hours. I can tell you that HoD far outnumbers FC in size.

I had to blitzkrieg through stuff and make sure to keep the main stuff safe. You have no idea how outnumbered or even how hard it is to keep the morale of a group up against 60+ zerg coming your way, and meanwhile my 20 man zerg is trying to get a hold of something.

That wasn’t the only problem, I tried to go to different borderlands when our EB stuff was under control, and you still had enough numbers to outman my ragtag group of 8 or so who had to avoid your blob every Bl we went your zerg would show up to try and fight us.

Sad part is you think we have equal numbers as your server, but the reality is we have to keep tactics up all the time and keep you guessing, or else we won’t stand a chance. You greatly outnumber us, and you saying how we have 2 main blobs , well guess what that is the whole we can muster lol. Compared to your specialized units who are still 30 man blobs that run around every Bl as well.

So please don’t try to reverse the tables here. Enjoy your victory , but I will gladly see you go silver next season and get NSP back, atleast NSP had numbers but they weren’t as big, they were just organized better. Your lot reminds me of the old SF days, no matter how many we kill, more and more show up.

FC seems to have a difficult time trying to defend 2 keeps at once. Yesterday after all night of split pushing everything between 2 major guilds, yeah those 2 guilds will eventually turn into 50+ when the only thing left on the map to take is your Bay.

Bllades also means between the BLs. Not just on a single map. We have a guild defending the home land while trying to lower second place’s ppt.

I think the numbers are pretty even. Haven’t seen a major coordinated guild on FC besides [WZ] and [EDGE]

I can tell you that Kaineng has not given up. If you didn’t notice, this was how our reset night was and after the weekend, we’re still the same. If nothing has changed from reset to now, it must mean we never tried to begin with, or we’re really that low on coverage.

You have to understand that both HoD and FC vastly outnumber us now. We have no WvW guilds, our population is a joke, and borderland defense is held by rag tag groups of players who chose to stay instead of transfer before league play. So, we do what we can against 20/30/40+ blobs of both servers. Best thing we have going now are some experienced WvWers that roam or run in 5 man groups for camps and recap towers when the blobs move off.

If you find this hard to believe because of our ranking, you’re more than welcome to transfer to Kaineng for the day and see first hand what we have available. Just two weeks ago we had about the same coverage as HoD and won a very close matchup, then EBAY last week, and all WvW guilds left. [Rx] left to SoS, [PwN] left to IoJ, [CNB] left to SoS, [RAW] mostly transferred out, those were some of the larger guilds not to mention a lot of individuals that were able to hold their own as well.

Either way, it is what it is so there’s no use QQ over spilled milk. We’ll get over it and move on. I’m sure we’re hovering somewhere around rank 22-24 at this moment. heck we might even be lower lol.

You’re misrepresenting yourself. That is a fine screen shot but there were a number of times you had 12-15 people while the HoD group was down to about 7-8. They might not have been your guild (PAWG? Couple others) but it wasn’t as bad as you make it out to me.

But the main reason I’m posting is the bolded is hilarious. Yarr has been emote spamming since the moment this match started. One of the first things I said in TS when this match started was “Did I ever do anything to Yarr?” because in literally the first engagement (Me alone getting rolled by 10-15 FC, mostly Yarr) I had a bunch of Yarr members /dancing, jumping and /laughing on my corpse. This has continued every time as well. This doesn’t bother me, it’s part of the game but it’s funny you posted that when your guild has been the one I’ve seen doing it the most.

Not gonna happen. Unfortunately, most of the Kaineng commanders left (who can only provide maybe 20% coverage) are ones who ignore the defense of an upgraded keep in favor of capping a supply camp elsewhere. How can you expect them to grasp that Kaineng should be hitting HoD?

Not gonna happen. Unfortunately, most of the Kaineng commanders left (who can only provide maybe 20% coverage) are ones who ignore the defense of an upgraded keep in favor of capping a supply camp elsewhere. How can you expect them to grasp that Kaineng should be hitting HoD?
