It’s this thing that all the Piken pugs were doing last week while SFR beat the krapola out of us.

This week they’re all back on the karma train.
(Sorry MS and JS, but you’re really going to get jumped on this week. – luck of the draw.)

It’s when you kill that Grub thing, or the big treebeard thing near Speldan.

MS perma-outnumbered and you still need 35+ blob, 3 trebs, 2 catas and 75 (!) minutes to get Dawns Eyrie? ^^ thx for the loot ^^

Probably because they were running with their guild in the first place and you follow and attack them when they are trying to regroup with the rest of the guild. I doubt a guild, minding their own business in pve or whatever, would go out of their way and quickly join WvW just to save 1 guy.

And it’s kinda ignorant to say only Piken does this. It happens on every server. The amount of times I’ve seen an enemy player run away with low hp to come back with more to help him is uncountable.

Yes, most guilds despise gankers. If you try to gank a support class that’s trying to get on with important business, of course they’ll come back and give you what you deserve.
That’s also why you’re finding it difficult to one-shot your victims. We all have a lot of toughness (and it really shows in those big fights where MS and JS seem to just melt)

probably just the lack of individual skill, you can’t kill anyone spamming 1 or 2

Happens to me all the time … except for the guild bit as generally speaking I’ve moved on by then. I guess it makes a certain kind of sense, if they can get away from me before I kill them then fair enough; it’s frustrating but then I guess running is a viable tactic.

Note: I don’t initiate 1v1 if someone is clearly going for a PoI or vista until after they’ve capped it. If that was the situation then getting friends along to help world completion then I’d say it’s legit.

If your opponent is able to run away with 5% HP and come back with the entire guild then either they deserve to run away because you cant even kill them at 5% or their entire guild is standing 10m behind them wondering wtf you’re trying to do against their entire guild, lol!

Either way, fleeing 1v1 isnt so bad. In fact as a sluggish Mesmer without perma-speed like all the other bloody professions I expect people to run. Yesterday I saw 10 Miller flee from 3 Pikens of which only 1 Piken engaged them at first O.o. Half ran away for no apparent reason. Cudos to the few that stayed and fought (and of course died horribly).

Some of the weekend fights from a VII PoV.

Any guild up for gvg (20-20, 15-15) – whisper me or send me an ingame mail. We can play on wednesday\thursday and friday before reset.

We search for a gvg partner too for tomorrow. We can also do a sparring to try different setups from 15v15 to 25v25 if you want.
