Honestly, they should just give cats and trebs an autofire option so you can aim it, set the range, get off and let a Veteran Guard get on so you don’t have to be the poor sap that presses 2 for the next hour.

Forget Red Guard. Boredom is the biggest killer in WvW.

You should probably be directing that question to ANet. If it wasn’t possible before the patch and now it is, then most likely its an unforseen side effect of the AC buff that someone discovered and made use of.

Thats not an exploit….its a bug.

Not unlike the leg mechanic for warriors on AC’s that someone discovered and everyone used until ANet fixed it.

Uhh..well actually. Making use of a bug that wasn’t intended by anet which apparently gives advantage over others, is an exploit.

I wasn’t there for the retake of Bay, but I know when the BT zerg attacked it, they did the same thing. ACs outside the gate, wiping all our ACs and lord room siege from outside of inner. Not sure if it was BT guys doing that though. There were a few other tags mixed in with theirs.

In any case, all you really need to do to do this is run in triple monitor configuration, or run in windowed mode and compress the view until stuff you couldn’t normally see comes into view.

It’s not even a bug… It’s always been this way. Now it’s just incredibly OP with arrow carts that can kill siege in 15 seconds.

The worst part is that I can’t imagine how ANet is going to keep this from happening, short of doubling the height of all walls and gates (or more). I suppose they could lock the resolution to the same native aspect ratio of your monitor….though that wouldn’t help with the triple monitor people.

People who treb create their own amusement. I once trebbed Bay on TCBL for five hours straight one day. My amusement was creating a big hole in the wall and watching FA go in and flip it. Then creating another big hole in the wall, and watching Kain go in and flip it. Over and over. The lure of the big gaping hole in the wall was too much

Meanwhile on other parts of TCBL we were quietly upgrading what was needed.

Good times.

(We also have players who will do naked cliff jumping by the trebs to amuse operators.)

I would like to be a mascot of fun, but not of the server. I’m a transfer and I know there has to be many more folks who were TC from the beginning who deserve it more.

And unless they’re being manned by someone named Ruth, I would like to think our opponents aren’t being ruthless about it. Actually, unless they are manned by Ruth they are Ruthless. So uh, nevermind about that.

Seeing more love here this week <3. Is it that we (WvW players, not server specific) get to rant and rave about the arrow carts?

I’m not taking a jab at my opponent here; I honestly think some of TC’s forum “representatives” are quietly gracious in third. Not so much when they are in the lead. I’ve seen both sides of TC quite a few times before and I think by now, even some of the TC regulars recognise this.
Some of FA’s posters are generally consistent with bad behaviour regardless of their placement but can be worse if TC’s posters encourage and entertain it.
Just my opinion anyway.

Looking forward to reset! Congrats to DB for storming into the tier and securing #4 NA on the ladder, higher than they have ever been in mos.millenium.org history – hope we can keep you in T2 a while longer.

Being a DB native that just recently started incorporating his gameplay time in wvw…im glad that we as a server were able to bring some competitiveness during NA primetime in t2…as it was not as strong as it was while we were in t3 (again, take note that these are just my observations from only 2 weeks of solid wvw gameplay dedication). That being said, this is my first time in t2. I have never fought more fierce competitors as the ones from TC and FA. My hats off to you guys for bringing it.

Tldr…im excited for tonights reset and look forward to fighting alongside you as friends or arrowcarting you to death as foes

How do you know its not intended? Just because it wasn’t possible before doesn’t mean that it shouldn’t be possible now with the AC buff. Unless ANet addresses it, its there for all to use and ANet to fix if it unintentional.

Good fights from all servers though TC seemed to disappear after some time. FA congrats on beating TC, showing that a strong third server joining the tier does make a difference. I would like to say Congratulations and job well done to my fellow DBers. We are higher than we have ever been. Though this may not last whether we rise or fall we will continue to fight for the fun of WvW…. minus those arrowcarts. Good luck on reset to all.

I’m not from [CO], but if it’s unofficial, they have every right to disrupt it as much as you have every right to sanction it off. Or you could inform them yourself by selecting their char and type /invite

As much as it may be unofficial, it should be universally known by now that it is the official spot to duel.

Until Anet gives us PROPER arenas (and no, spvp is not the same), there is no other way to put on these events.

It’s only unofficial if you’ve been living under a rock.

It was not at east inner gate of bay where the ac’s were set up. It was north inner gate of bay.

DB was on its way to tier 2 before the new wave of guilds joined us, and I was apprehensive. Then [Krew] left us and I was even more apprehensive. Then [RE], [Agg] and [CO] came over and look how well we did! I am no longer apprehensive.

I was guesting on KN last night SEA to do Balthazar temple event with KOR. There were like 4-5 KOR tags in there. I got to help revive some KN, got my shards, waved at commander Jksaber (hope I got it right?) and vanished back into the Toastland. Was nice!

I’ve enjoyed my first reset on Dragonbrand. Within 1 hour we hit 340 PPT which impressed me. Maintained higher then 250 PPT so far. [CO] went to EB tonight. Again, I’d like to give shout outs to WAR and LoW from Dragonbrand, VK from FA for being great opponents and TV as well. Also, a shout out to all Dragonbrand tgat worked with [CO] on our first reset night. It was nice meeting a lot of you guys and introducing ourselves to the community.

My favorite moment of tonight was at Umberglade were we caught VK by surprise and once they were downed we went on the plateau south of the camp. Before we could really heal up a huge TC Zerg came charging up the plateau and we managed to kill 80% of them, but we started dropping in numbers and getting scattered while our opponents were rezzing each other on the side.

Oh, I also enjoyed the DB train across Ogrewatch as the FA Zerg was on the gates and meanwhile as soon as TC pushes out the tower (the moment we were waiting for) we rolled over both zergs, regrouped in Pangloss and ported to our spawn before we could be sandwiched by FA at the north and south entrances of Pangloss.

Overall, my favorite and best reset by far.

Ps – which thread are we using lol. Why was a new one created? I’m pretty sure a mod will merge the threads.
