I´ve been a spectator of this match and spectators of ZD did rezz their team mates. There happened a lot of strange things to be honest. ZD had a lot of spectators and on one time during the match when ZD was running through their spectators, after that there were magically less people standing on the hill. So did they log off, run elsewhere or did they participate in the gvg ? Who knows. I was shocked to be honest to see such lack of sportsmanship from a guild with that reputation like ZD.

But on the other hand tricking a guild in a gvg that they not wanted by using a fake tag is also, well, at least not very much gentlemenlike you know. Why can´t you accept when somebody is saying “no thanks, not this time” for whatever reason ? You are complaining about foul play from ZD and played foul yourself to some extent.

In order to avoid any further speculations – i did res zds as spectrator, but i did it AFTER the end of the round.

4th round: You revived your dead players. Round doesn’t count.
9th round: We said stop before anything happened. We had skilldelays.. but you ignored that.

1) Non-ranked GvG guild ( or at best 15th spot ) refuses 3rd or 4th ranked guild in EU because they don’t want to face a clearly more exerienced and better team ( according to the GvG website).
2) Non- ranked GvG guild ( or at best 15th spot ) thinks that it would be better to train GvG with an easier adversary .
3) 3rd ( 4th ) ranked pro GvG guild decided to trick the obviously lesser guild ( according to the GvG ranking ) by using a fake guild name.
4) 3rd ( or 4th ) ranked guild underestimated the lesser ranked guild and get the butterflies beaten out of them
5) 3rd ( or 4th ) ranked pro EU GvG team decides to come on the forums and whine , despite the fact that they used the lowest possible tricks in the book to fight ZDs.

Second, if I read all this above the ranking has nothing to do with guild strength, only with ego-boost.

If such a ranking should have something to do with strength and readyness belongs to strength, if would need some more rules:
- challenges have to be made at the web-site
- you can only call-out a higher ranked guild (but never a lower ranked)
- challenges possible in the current server-match cannot be refused (refusal = loss),
if the challenged guild hasn’t made at least 3 other gvg’s in this match.
- challenges have to be made in the order of call out registration.
- at least 1 referee from the third server (but better also 2 from the participating
servers (but not the fighting guilds)) has to be present which records the video as well.
- the referees may disqualify a guild for cheating (= loss of round, 3rd time loss of match).
- guilds must be associated to a server at any time (no-longer existing guilds have to deleted, or maybe moved to a hall of fame) to enable automatic availability checking.

Meanwhile … as wars are being waged both on the forums and in game, four former enemies took a moment to celebrate with a small picnic on the shores of PSBL.

We met up and flew our kites, the quaggans all coo-ed, they were delighted!

Then we had a big chocolate cake. YUM! And did a bit of sunbathing before we took a dip in the cool waters of the lake. Swimming was fun, Pinky Thief was the best swimmer, even with his little legs.

Finally, we checked out the wildlife, and pet a soft, gentle dolyak. We even did a little dance to sing the praises of this gentle beast.

It was a lovely day and a lovely picnic.

If you win you gain ranking. If you lose you go down in ranking. How is this unrelated to guild strenght? Certainly that ranking could use some more appropiate rules, but the basics are there.

And no readyness is not part of strenght imo, that would be like saying that the strongest football team is the one that beat all others even while its roster is changing.

(Non GvGer point of view, although I don’t see how any of this is our business. Especially league rules, but you seem to love giving unasked for suggestions)

We need a proof from Menelya, any video showing such behaviour.

I heared from my guildmates(who were watching GvG while waiting for a raid) about strange behaviour like rezzing dead allies during the fight. It makes me even more curious and we need a rock solid arguments here.
Best would be a footage from spectator point of view.

The only solid proof that we have at this time is Mya’s behaviour into tricking a guild to fight them after being refused.

I don’t understand all this crap, why not just say that this GvG never happened? ZDs didn’t want to do it, Mya challenged them through another guild name, and ZDs won even though people say they’re cheating, and there even are people asking why Mya doesn’t confirm it on the website? I mean, is it so hard to just forget this and say nothing has happened?

and about GvG challenges, VG would accept any GvG challenge if we had proper numbers. maybe you lose ranking, but what you lose in ranking you gain in experience. even if you get totally beaten you still learn from it. if VG had 20 people to do a GvG and RG would want to GvG us (if they still were around) we would accept it, as well as if ZDs would or any other guild. besides that, as Mya pointed out, its not about winning or losing, its about fun, and what happened here was no fun and all the QQ’ing and discussing on the forums wont make it fun (unless you enjoy this kind of drama), so why not just put it behind, and maybe do a GvG Mya vs ZDs in the next matchup of Piken vs SFR.

Be smart and go to PvP you are in the wrong place.

mate, not everyone wants to blindly follow a commander and spam 1 on their guardian staff or whatever profession you play and weapon you user. show a bit of respect for people who rather play in small groups or alone.
if you think WvW is meant for blob vs blob, well thats your thing, but ever noticed that if you have smaller group fights there never is skill lagg?

what matters on who has the biggest kittening blob, or who wins how. it’s a game and its all about enjoying yourselves and having fun. if you like to roam in a small group or do raids with 10 people, do that, if you like to mindlessly follow a commander and spam 1 on your weapon, do so, but stop the kittening wining!

big props to all SFR and ER players that roam in smaller groups, its really fun to fight you. if you are running somewhat between 5 and 10 people, you can find VG tomorrow on SFR borders. I hope for some good fights rather than “charge into the blob and create oranges” :P

It’s very strange that you are a commander and don’t know your main force should have builds for WWW, and you try to discuss that.

I am a little confused about this.. Which guilds? Also, are you sure you didn’t misread the guild tag or something as there are many, many guilds on Piken who run in WvW.

Tbh I can’t see anything bad in trying to play vs them under fake tag if they do not accept the challange. The thing is – if they lost in fair fight the score should be accepted as the main guild. And here we need a video to judge it even tho I’m 99% sure this match is just gonna be forgotten.
Video footage should be required by gw2gvg.com site to every match as confirmation of the match and ofc in such situations when both sides got their own opinions.
For rezzing people and when team do not stick to the rules – walkover for “injured team”. Clear imo

This is my goodbye of this thread. To PS and ER I wish they keep enjoining WWW, but please don’t forget watt WWW it’s about.

To all SFR, we had very good weeks, but this week is special, I think never so few have done so much. I see SFR is a community that wants to respect people time, and gold spend, and also want that everyone have fun playing the game, I know there is price to pay, I’m willing to pay it, and I pay it every day in the queue to EB map.

Many thanks for your commitment, it’s not easy getting WP’s in SM, or in Overlook, at this level. To all my brooders and sisters, all our bonds are stronger than ever, that’s our main weapon and we will use it.

It’s obvious principle

Yeah right, when the so called pro guild loose they whine and cry about everything, it’s elitiest nature, but when they win, everything fine by them, they are gentle and cheerful.

If a team (Mya) allows to another team (Zds) to just res people in the middle of the fight… it really says alot about their skill.

I really hope that the next Mya victory the opposite side will say “Mya cheated, we were against war banners, war banners are cheat. We haven’t been defeated.” And won’t accept the defeat on gw2gvg

Oh btw about that simple rules, ZDs played against RuNL the tactics of RuNL is all about ressing the people who are dead. And so what ? Boom was fine with it, Xaoc was fine with it. ZDs was fine with it. As i already said, those “rules” are known by everyone when on the stake are someone’s pride and kittens.

besides that, PvP means Player Versus Player, and WvW is mainly focussed on players killing other players, so if that is what you do, than obviously running a PvP build isn’t such a strange idea.

Are you really that kittened? Reading signature is something beyond your ability to think? I’m leader of [INC]Incendies guild from Piken Square. I’m posting my objective opinion. We were supposed to fight vs ZDs but my request were being refused by their so called “GvG guy” for two weeks.
I did not write if ZDs is good guild, or they are bad guild. Really you guys got a lot to say but you can’t even understand other people posts.

Thanks [Mya] for the fun GvG today, worthy opponents. Thanks all others for this nice matchup, I enjoyed it very much. INC, SPRT, XT, Dsun, Rise, RuNL and others ofcourse. Great fights and even though GvG might be dead soon but I’m sure these matchups continue to give a good share of fights.

INC decided to watch your next GvG coz we felt like you were a worthy opponent and wanted to get a confirmation of it vs other good guild. That was kind of a slaughterhouse, good pression there. Way better engages than mya. GG CoN, sadly it might be last time we meet in GvG fight, still was a pleasure to do.
If you keep playing would like to see you vs other top teams. I feel like you can make some noise around. Big progress

I did not write if ZDs is good guild, or they are bad guild. Really you guys got a lot to say but you can’t even understand other people posts.

Yep. Didnt read your signature. Guess it hurts alot, when someone ignores your precious signature. But….deal with it. Not every person cares about it. Act like adult and dont start insulting other people, just cause they hurt your Ego.

Anything beyond that? Cause u just ignored everything else in my post.

Meanwhile … as wars are being waged both on the forums and in game, four former enemies took a moment to celebrate with a small picnic on the shores of PSBL.

We met up and flew our kites, the quaggans all coo-ed, they were delighted!

Then we had a big chocolate cake. YUM! And did a bit of sunbathing before we took a dip in the cool waters of the lake. Swimming was fun, Pinky Thief was the best swimmer, even with his little legs.

Finally, we checked out the wildlife, and pet a soft, gentle dolyak. We even did a little dance to sing the praises of this gentle beast.

It was a lovely day and a lovely picnic.

But what is there in your post? Saying ZDs is bad etc.? Well, if they don’t understand the basic rules then there is no reason to accept the score by opponent team. Rezzing dead guys is just not allowed. I think this subject is not interesting anymore

Since the topic focus is now GvG can I ask the GvG scene a favor?

This evening on Elona BL WIC had 3 people inside and 15+ queued for at least 1 hour or more between 8 PM and 9 PM CET, and we got word that some gvg was taking place there. We had to move to EB altough we were scheduled to be on ERBL.

Isn’t possible for you guys to set up your GvGs outside primetime?

1 hour queues are getting more common on Piken during prime, whereas mornings/afternoons or even late nights are queueless and most often outmanned.

Zds doesnt care about your scores. But we do care about Mya badmouthing us. If u wanna fight inexperienced team in GvG – state your rules proper.

Also. What about what this guy said?

Yeah right, when the so called pro guild loose they whine and cry about everything, it’s elitiest nature, but when they win, everything fine by them, they are gentle and cheerful.

If a team (Mya) allows to another team (Zds) to just res people in the middle of the fight… it really says alot about their skill.

I really hope that the next Mya victory the opposite side will say “Mya cheated, we were against war banners, war banners are cheat. We haven’t been defeated.” And won’t accept the defeat on gw2gvg

Oh btw about that simple rules, ZDs played against RuNL the tactics of RuNL is all about ressing the people who are dead. And so what ? Boom was fine with it, Xaoc was fine with it. ZDs was fine with it. As i already said, those “rules” are known by everyone when on the stake are someone’s pride and kittens.

So… Is “no rezz” rule so fixed as u say, Devitz?
