Look at the minimap, hardly hiding 2 zergs inside the tower.

Look at green dots on minimap to see how many we are I count around 20 inside the tower.

let s keep this civil, pls. XAOC, BOOM, OSC, iddq and the rest of the SFR blobbers stick together because their skill is below average. We engage them on a regular basis when they outnumber us in a ratio 1:2 or higher because I know every member of my team pulls the weight of 2 of em.
Funnyest fight I had was 4 of us against over 10 of XAOC, I think every one of us was in down state at one time, but in the end we stomped all of them and they none of us.

But I think you ll find this kind of player on every server. Kodash also got plenty of guilds who think that WvW is all about gathering 45+ ppl and tear down every tower there s on the map and leave everything undefended so they can roll over it half an hour later. @ the end of the day this ppl don t improve as players and all they got is some badges and wxp.

Maybe in BB case this isn’t on purpose and is 2 guilds coming together which is unavoidable sometimes. (Also happens on SFR) 1 of your guilds didn’t run away why would ours?

Of course it isn’t always possible to avoid another guild group when you’re running on the same map. However, a lot of guilds don’t engage when two other guilds fight each other. In the matchup between Piken, Augury and Baruch a few weeks ago it was normal. And why would you engage in a ‘guild fight’ (especially in an open field situation where it’s not about a tower attack or defence)? If you are in an organized, fairly big guild, I think the main purpose is to have challenging and nice fights, not to trample the enemy like a stampede. For that you don’t need an organized guild.

Wanna thank [BOOM] and Gabriel for a great night, with loads of fun, bags and jumping.

I don’t pretend to flame this thread, but I expected a little bit more from SFR. However, due to the fact that we are still on weekend and my point of view is just from kodash bl so far, I won’t say how disapointed I am… yet.

Points are important, but sometimes you miss the fun part of the game when you play it just as intended. I really get tired of the matchup with PS and AR, but I actually miss it…

Please, try not to join together and blob when we are not forcing you to it!

Dusted off the ranger (glass cannon -ish, lb/sb one..I have three rangers) this morning for a bit of fun, and got to say it was great fun defending SM against first one server’s 40+ then the next would come, this repeated for over an hour with our 20-30 man pug taking them out every time.

Dropped out when our pug group breached the 40 mark- obviously news of epic defences spreads fast;-)

How about instead of complaining about it all day, you get back inside your tower and build some more siege. It can’t be much but I’m sure if you really try, you’ll find room for one or two more AC.

To the discussion what happened in Kodash BL yesterday.

From my point of view it looked like [BOOM]+few followers wiped first [RED] by them own. Then RED called MERC to help and they together still got wiped by BOOM. Then they called [Scnd] and still got wiped. I remember that [Bull] also joined one time to the field. And at the end BOOM had more followers than when they started raid, but you BB had 3 guildgroups joined together and still get wiped.

Case here is that you BB guilds are used to wipe other groups in lower tiers and today only time you wiped us is when RED+MERC+Scnd+Bull guys jumped to us when we were dancing in line. Oh and the other time was when we were jumping behind the tree.

ALL the servers blob sometimes. Get used to it.

Oh c’mon guys, you seriously crying about other servers blobbing because you got wiped? The truth is: WE ALL BLOB SOMETIMES.
Stop crying about it pls.
Yesterday my most fun battle was my against 3 Kodash.
I saw that one Baruch Bay was in trouble and wanted to help him.
When I arrived the Baruch Bay was dead so I thought ‘oh well I’ll kill them myself’
So I did and in the last part when all 3 of them were downed a BB came to help me.
After they all were dead we bowed to eachother, the Baruch bay ressed his mate and we went out own ways.
THIS is why I do WvW.
And yeah, walking in a big blob and collecting all the lootbags is fun sometimes…don’t we all think that?

The problem about blobbing is not if servers do it or not. The thing is that most of servers of that list actually only knows to play with blobs. Of course Baruch also do blobs, but cause sometimes we’re forced to do it.

We come from matching against PS and AR for 7 weeks and in there weren’t such blobs as we see with new servers.

An example of what is doing something else than blobbing. Last night I was playing in SR map, and we had 2 commanders, so instead of going in one big blob, we split and while DsD was pushing in north, there was a zerg of randoms controlling all the south.

I won’t complain if blodash, riverblob, elona blolb or blobaddon blobs. It’s what you can expect from some servers. Maybe is a diferent pov of the game and how to have fun with it.

As I said, probably some of us expected more from SFR than what you showed us last night. I guess fighting blobs in T1 somehow changes you. I’m expecting you to prove at some point that I am wrong and not to blob as default.

And I’m not denying that BB blobs, btw. Usually blob dicussions are useless, I get it. Every server does. But we try not to during prime time. Yesterday we were enforced to (Second REDBuLL!) and it was kinda sad (and powerfull).

Emmm, how do we need to say it? We don’t hate blobs, we hate servers that only knows to play with it and have no other alternatives…

Most guild that left the server were out for 3 months, but the game is here since September. Before they quit the server, we could manage to get 5th (This week is the first that we have beaten our own rating record). So the server was good with all this “Mercenary guilds”.

Now we’re stronger, cause everybody has learned. All those guilds went to T1, so they took experience with most populated servers. But the people who remained also learned to play without dedicated guilds.

Hmm, how to word it?

I`ve played BB many times since september, you had somewhat built up a server identity (lots of players, strong nightshift, gc gear, not as coordinated but very aggressive and very akin to the never give up, never surrender philosophy) that made you very likeable.

It seems since certain guilds came back to your server, Baruchos on the forum have a very flawed view of their own servers performance and/or try to belittle others just because they (the others) didn`t have the luck/opportunity to attract premade-guild groups.

Whats up haters ? i hear crying and whining about blobs ( 50-60 Pugs ) . I see [siN] with 35 – 40 Guys, i see [DsD] with same numbers and i think they are strong enough to beat 60 or 70 Pugs. Opt, OSC, CoN, KoA,NoE,ECL,ZDs,Iddq,Rise and many more run alone. We group up for 2 minutes if we have massive Problems to counter another Blob.

We played a long time together with siN on the same Server and on the same Borderland and we had a lot of fun but if there was a [IRON] or [VoTF]-Blob with 50 or 60 ppl we also move together because a guild with 20 – 25 ppl cant beat them.

With all due respect, but the BOOM + some followers wás the map. The only other people we’ve encountered from SFR is [Opt], massive props to them, you guys have balls!

And the 3 guilds forming a blob was RED + BuLL + Scnd at the end. More to show you how ridiculous it is to that that then anything else. The 3 guilds together still didn’t have the numbers you had in your group alone (except towards the end since that’s when the BB primetime starts). At some point we even got the outmanned buff. I know you probably feel really good for wiping us 3 together, if that makes you happy I’m not gonna ruin it for you.

Anyway, looking forward to get some nice fights during this week, I know that there are good guilds in this matchup. Lets have some fun ^^.

That some servers blob more than others is a fact. It’s a mixture of factors and I’m not judging you. I don’t particularly like it, but it’s ok. But I personally prefer some guild action on the battlefield. And you can’t blame me (us) for that neither.

Last week we get wiped by some good equally sized guild groups from desolation. And I don’t care. You have something to learn always when being defeated like that. I don’t really feel elite in any way, some of us still get wiped more often than we should (xd). But after all this months and some organised events on the server, showing to the community how to fight, etc. we get better and evolved as a community.

Being defeated by a blob heavily outnumbering you, on the other hand, it’s just boring and exhausting.

Anyway, it may all change during the week and see some decent fights.

We don’t have issues with any of those guilds. But let me ask you Raniri, if, for example, we killed ECL, KoA and NoE from between 19:00-20:00 in roaming GvG’s, would you then for the rest of the night just run side by side together in a guild blob, or would you continue to roam on different parts of the map?

We didn’t get wiped when we grouped up like we did, we killed you once beside lake, but then you built AC’s. We killed you in Bay, and then we killed you at North camp without RED. What ‘jumped’ you at the danceoff was 15 Scnd from behind the rock, vs your entire zone. One of our members in TS said after the fight at Bay, ‘I can see why people do this, its just SO easy’. And he’s right. There’s no challenge in getting 60-70 guys from 3 guilds and stampeding through enemy groups. But we play the game for the challenge, not for the bags.

Exactly. We don’t have issues with guild cooperation if you need to bring down a force larger than yourself. What we do have an issue with is BOOM, ZBs and Xaoc coordinating within stones throw of eachother just to kill 15-20 Scnd after we wiped them all separately the first time.

Anyway, Scnd’s slack days are behind us for this week, we’ll be running around 25 for the rest of the week instead of 15, hopefully the week improves.

You really say that only 15 Scnd guys jumped behind rock during danceoff? What about your entire zone running from tower to us at same time But it was good evening farming you guys. over 500 badges and 15g farming you all over weekend.

And for real i respect guilds running separate and smaller fights than 70blob vs 70blob. Have a fun week!

I think that ZBs are able to wipe every guild with similiar size. There is not point to make a blob for 15-20 Scnd.

I presume you’re from BOOM? Lets have GvG then, 20v20/25v25 along with ZBs as well.
