That’s SFR practicing for when we get Viz next week, where if that were a Viz bunch it would be called ‘small capping party’:-)

SFR can’t blob properly- we don’t seem to be able to get past 50, and usually run with 20-30..we need the Viz instruction manual- we’ll just rewrite the bit about mindlessly dieing all the time in the field or hiding behind 20 AC unless you outnumbered enemies 3 to1 at least…

Let’s see how it pans out- sadly not going to get much GW2 time this week, so can’t add myself to the blob!

And all 5 German servers are currently doing quite well. Maybe the others are still a bit ungainly making compliments, but they try their best.

Well, not a single EU server now can do anything good against single-language hard-tough-strong guys like ER/VS/BB. For me – they are top-3 now because of their full coverage and, to be honest, better karma-trains during the off-peak hours. It is a shame, but our train lives only on EB, borderlands are empty (and that’s bothers me a lot).

Boring evening yesterday on ER. JS had pretty much nothing to fight with , because of national music festival, and we had to deal with ecl+opt+zds blobing together.

But don’t worry, we’ll be back and take our revenge.

We expected you might come to defend it after you took bay so we were waiting for you at the supply hut.
Then we only used a kitten ton of AoE when u stepped thru the gate, end result was 46bags <3

You did not knew? We made a deal with ANet: We got our map-limits extended under the promises that we do not blob with more than 80 per dolly, such that EVERY dolly and supply camp now has it’s own 70-80 EDES

PS: Be careful, when attack a supply camp with 2 dollies inside you may hit 240 people

Thanks for targetting our tower wall before my treb SFR. Without it I’d had a tough job destroying your two trebs (even if i were worried that i won’t touch the farthest one).

I think It will be hard for us (MDJ) this week but it refreshing to see 2 really lively servers in front of us. I hope we will be a bit more this week to give you some good match to. Fighting against Viz last week was really tiring.

that happens if you have alot of pugs, remember when anet opened transfers to sfr?
there are 2 simple rules in leading a pug zerg
1. dont wipe too often or you will lose like half of your people
2. command them as if they all wear zerker gear cuz like 30% of them wear it, 20% are uplevel’d and the rest dont know how to use a dodgeroll properly

and well, ppl tend to overestimate enemy forces and underestimate their own, so that counts into that fact too i guess (on both sides)

i agree with you that blobbing is incredibly lame, but you have to remember, like 40% of them wont even be in voicecom, so yes may be like twice your numbers, but they will die 2x or 3x faster cuz of wrong gear, uplevel’d chars and lack of communication/organization
theres a reason good guild groups can take on zergs with twice their numbers and more

these servers accepted them as a resource for their success and put some effort into organizing them, cuz language barrier and queues will prevent international guilds from joining their servers anyways, so they HAVE to stack up if they want to stay somewhat competitive (if you can even call it competitive in this game…)

and there are also small groups on ER, today for example we took your garrison on your homeborder with ~10 ppl (around 10pm, so dont tell me kitten about primetime and offpeak :P)

On National server you depend on your pug zergs and the only way not to be lootbags on foot with randoms is just make it sowiet russia style: BLOB!

I was leading that “blob” If I recall we had 41 guys. If you can check how much we were ticking. We had like +130 at night. I’ve jumped all over 4 borders and took all people from them. These players were all we could gather at night.

Seafarer’s Rest don’t have a single guild that can play past 00:00. Sometimes they stay a bit longer but we do not have any night capping force. During prime you will rarely see a SFR zerg because we have 3-5 roaming groups. Of course they blob up on occasion or accidentally (because we play without commander tags sometimes we don’t see each other and do not coordinate).

SFR is based on WvW guilds not pug raids. If you want to have some decent fights among guilds we’re the correct choice for it. If you want 24/7 pug blob coverage I’m afraid we’re not. You will never see an entire zone blob like JS and ER are doing on occasions purely because it’s an absolute disgrace for us to play in that manner. However we’re not going to blame you for it because this is how this game is made and you’re just playing it. It’s your choice that you do not focus WvW on guilds though. JS sometimes roam with 2 groups and ER’s only not blobbing force is [GD] but they have enough players on their own. (it’s my POV, maybe there are smaller roaming groups but I’ve not met them)

Our guilds rarely run more than 30 guys at one raid. We have about 12-15 WvW guilds. The only one I can distinguish from this match-up is GD. I’m sorry if I’ve offended anyone but this is just the truth from our [CoN] point of view. We will never promote blobbing on SFR. If you want to win match-ups in that matter it is your choice but we will not participate because we believe that blobs destroy this game.

[CoN] Circle of Nine is accepting all GvG challenges. We can match your numbers, doesn’t matter if its 10/15/20/25/30. If you want a fair fight then whisper me or Ridafyt Whitestrike and we can organise everything.

Try to keep forums clean of out BS.

SFR noticed in April by itself that queue’s and guild raids don’t work together very well especially as guilds want to do their raids in prime-time.

If you want to meet Elona-guild raids, you can find 1-2 per BL at prime-time under the week on the border-lands. On weekends and on EB you hardly find them, because queues hinder them being formed

another great morning on elona bl. it’s sad that 30+ players hide inside keeps (other 20+ were on bay), but even sadder when you’re facing less than 15 players and you run, even if numbers are on your side. sometimes i feel like a reporter in afghanistan, but i know sooner or later i will recive the prize for best photo reporter on tyria

It seems to me that our guilds are quite happy, the queue is more than manageable and PUGs can play EB 24/7 and often in most borders. We also manage to enjoy matchups with like-minded servers, and are possibly tier2 material ( if tiers still existed anyways ). What was your point again?
