yes it was, and as far as I know it was legitimate. a mesmer got us past the outer wall, and we dropped 4 rams to burn through the north inner gate as fast as possible.

Most epic fight ever in cd bl garrison. Just wave after wave. Good job cd, like 30 of us but still, best fight i think ive ever had in the game. Better than any smc fight. Its been like 1.5 hours of waves now.

Holy Hannah. I can’t remember who’s on first, what’s on second, or how CDBL garrison is still standing, but both servers gave us a fight. I may have been swearing a lot in TS and developed heart palpitations as it happened, but it was a hard-earned victory for us.

HAHA Yeah that was us ([NITE]) having some fun. We ended up just building a bunch of Omegas for everyone and walked them all the way to hills…then once we got hills we were like kitten it …. now what….ahh kitten it lets go have some fun at garri….we honestly didn’t think we’d make it to inner LOL, but then ended up being a lot of fun and some good fights! Good Job holding it! Was a lot of fun all around!

I have to say, CDBL’s garrison has been like fort Knox since the weekend. I tried to siege 3 times. Never managed even get to inner. The only close one was when your map zerg went to try take your Bay back. However as soon as we were done with the outer, you guys ditched bay and came back to wipe us.

EB and DB were omega brawling it out in our lords room garrison, Idk how we kept it.

we only have 1X – 2X players in WvW at a time.

It is your responsibility as a CMD to rally your people together to fight instead of roaming by yourself.

I have to say, CDBL’s garrison has been like fort Knox since the weekend. I tried to siege 3 times. Never managed even get to inner. Not counting the double waves, garrison was held against 11 DB pushes.

Of course I remember you guys :P I was constantly bugging you all to use the public TS. You were on a lot, but I wasn’t quite as successful with the rest of your guildies ;( I was actually just asking someone from the TOFU guild on CD whether it was the same TOFU that had tagged along with you guys. Would have been cool to see that despite everything the group was still around. I liked them.

Not sure, I can take a look…might be Lumbee, I think he has an asura guardian… he’s out there pretty regularly he might be a laggy lil punk though…he might be using the sword teleport and judge’s intervention…I know I use that a lot to get away by targeting a mob across the way…lol but I’ll check it out

But yeah its the same TOFU guild, I faced off against them and KoME a lot over the weekend! Seen a lot of para, GH, ZoD (I believe this was formerly FTF and noice?! not sure though… ). Lots of good fights, we don’t always have the numbers of larger guilds be we have fun

Anyone interested in setting up some organized fights tonight? Bring however many you want, not necessarily GvG style. Just some organized fun, shoot me a tell in game around 5 server if interested, please do spread the word too, hope to see yall there!

Laughing at the GOTL Guild from Dragon Brand. They’ll only fight if they out number you and then laugh on you. Gotta love those 5 v 1’s – they show a lot of skill.

Experienced that too, i’m sure every server has guilds like that…however props to the few roamers on ebbl tonight, had some good 2v2’s 2v3’s etc.

To that Crystal Desert Warrior going around grabbing ruins in Ehmry Bay Borderlands…what build are you exactly? I was rather shocked to see your HP regen faster than my DPS and conditions could deal. I must know that way I may prepare for our next encounter!

It’s called the warrior build that uses healing signet, which is every warrior build currently in existence. Wasn’t me, but just sayin.

Which can cleanse Chill, Burning, Poison, Bleed, Cripple, while being able to hold off 2.6K attack and passively heal pretty much every bit of damage one can do? If that’s the current state of affairs for Warriors…I don’t want to be you guys if/when they decide to nerf part of that build.

EDIT: Nice attempt at Garrison CD, it took everything we had just to keep it. Equally impressive job obtaining Bay, but you can have it, there’s 0 supply in there.

Na, warriors don’t need clense, just use zerker stance to be immune to conditions. Use endure pain to be immune to damage also, pretty good class.

By the way, part of me wonders why EB is getting targeted constantly by DB and CD, but then I remember the golden unwritten rule of WvW…both 1st and 3rd will always aim at the 2nd place server, no questions asked. I say that since 1st place wants to keep their lead secure, and 3rd place wants to take 2nd place for themselves…which ironically leads to said server getting targeted themselves. The neverending cycle.

We had a massive queue on our own map, but last I checked (which was an hour prior to the Garrison invasion) we had no queues on any other borderland.

the zoom hack has been employed against us in DB many times this week but if the Devs wont do anything about it, all we can do is live with it

I’m actually surprised that zoom hack still exists at this point. I know you can get it started by fighting any world boss and then heading directly into WvW, but why isn’t there a variable for the maximum camera distance that resets it to the default upon any kind of zoning?

All thieves that chase you across a map only to get killed deserve to be danced on and laughed at. Preferably by naked rangers running longbow and brown bears.

Gonna go ahead and say this GOTL guild is a PvE guild. My buddies and I (3 of us) have fought 8 of them at the same time and have beaten them on various occasions.

Same thing goes for the NITE guild. We 2v7 TWICE in the ruins and we win both times. I’ll go ahead and say they were PvE players because there’s no way in hell we would be able to take on those numbers otherwise.

I forget which one of the above guilds has a tanky hammer warrior commander who basically hops around the fight as if he’s taunting you, only to die right after all his guildies die. Weird.

Either way….fun fights.
