Thanks for the fights this last week, seeing tc coming out so strong was in all honesty pretty surprising but SoRs slow start to the week can probably attributed the game that shall not be named. No doubt SoR will come out guns blazing next week. Good luck for your next matchups SoR and tc.

I had to leave without much warning last night, but I had a good night of duels around ruins/south camp in SoR BL last night. I’m pretty awful in 1v1 situations and I wasnt using a good build for it. I cut it early to pick up sentry duty though, so thanks for the good fights.

to the warrior i fought in jq se camp that was fun fight we had, people camp; so i left, it would have been nice to know what would have happened. >3<

Yeah, so strange the number of people saying ’we’re all taking a break’ when they lose is about the same as the people saying ‘lolol we crush you baddies gonna farm you out of tier 1’ when they’re winning. Bad winners and poor losers. JQ only wins badly, as demonstrated above. Probably because we have more experience losing in T1 than most other servers. Builds character you see, just not for those who don’t show up when we’re losing.

Although you lost in the end for the top 3 spot and TC has taken your place as a T1 server, you showed a tremendous amount of courage and heart. Your ability to rebuild ac’s is still unsurpassed in gw2 history. How you rebuild siege so fast,do nothing but defend structures, and are still out there “caring just about the fights” is a testament to your skill and fortitude as a server. I think this ability is truly the cornerstone of what brought you up to T1 on that long glorious road. I hope you can rebuild in T2 and BG/JQ I’m sure look forward to giving you a grand exit next week in our last match.

You are naive if you think TC qualifies as tier 1…tier 1.5 at best, unless TC suddenly got some crazy transfers that I don’t know about, I would still put my bet on SoR beating TC any other week without JQ or BG in the matchup, even without IRON. Your post is brave…the sarcastic tone is in poor taste as well. Making a post like that makes your guild look trashy, but…that isn’t saying much no one I know ever really considered/considers SG a threat, at least in open field fights. I don’t understand the remarks toward SoR, it should be in everyone interest to keep SoR, or any other server, alive and healthy for the sake of competition. Poking fun at them is just pathetic, especially coming from JQ… 2nd place to BG and still talking kitten. lol

I haven’t seen anything more than people celebrating an unexpected victory, which is pretty reasonable considering the circumstances.

I’ll just leave that up to the HUGE amount of fairweather that no one seems to want to admit to, but it seems we have two 1.5 tier servers as of right now. Either way it was close all week long, and we had fun with it.

TC hasn’t been chest thumping that much. In fact most of the comments are 5 week stewed from JQ to SoR. And BG to SoR,. Some from TC earlier trying to provoke you guys, but not much, so your definition in a 10+ page thread of what like – 3 guys who have said stuff, is weak.

The majority of TC people are having fun with the side topics like ERPing, and such. Don’t classify a server for actions of few, it makes your normally sound judgement lose ground.

That being said, it was nice battling SoR and JQ all week. STUN appreciated the battles. JQ … the sea when your in karma train mode – it’s gotta be like 80 people stronk.

TC also still couldn’t have ended in third if they never showed up all week. That didn’t happen, so please don’t discredit anyones effort. JQ wasn’t hitting SoR only – you know how many battles we had with SF and SG zergs … tons. They are plentiful and good. Win some, lose some, just show up – get out there and support your commander.

All of the T1 servers are like this. It wasn’t that long ago people said the same thing about JQ and BG. If JQ or BG had lost so many times in a row they would have half the numbers showing up too. Just by way of example, when JQ is fighting T2 servers we have hours long queues on every map. When we fought BG we were outmanned by Thursday, first time I’d seen that bonus since before league started. If JQ had lost four weeks in a row we might be in the same spot as SoR right now. Probably not as bad because JQ is more resilient and there are a lot more people on JQ that roam in small groups and don’t really care what the ppt is whereas SoR are lost without their blob and more of them seem to only play to win, but the effect would be pretty similar.

On the plus side for SoR, this sort of result tends to make all the fair weather zerglings transfer off which leaves the server tougher and tends to improve their overall performance quite a lot, so then they climb to the top and attract all the fair weather zerglings and then their quality is watered down, this is the cycle WvW has gone through over the past year and I don’t see it changing anytime soon unless Anet changes how the winner is determined.

I dont believe I insulted them for something they cant help, or rubbed anything in their faces about previous wins/losses other than them bragging. What comes around goes around, and they had at least that much coming.
Someone last week stated correctly that PPT is a sign of coverage, not courage, and I have a lot of respect for the enemies that came out every day to fight for their server.

Edit: By “stooping to their level” I meant the things certain people posted several weeks ago, and back when SoR started its rise to tier 1 and around that time. I’m not talking to EVERYONE from SoR, but the people who read this know who they are.

We’ve all trash talked at one point or another, and a few don’t represent the server. So SoR’s current state can’t be blamed for a few trolls.

Just let us be happy We haven’t had a matchup where ppt mattered since May this year. For HALF A YEAR we played our matchups with no real goal, with results assured before the matchups even start.

I don’t think many of us really care who is T1 or who is T2 or who said what in previous matchups. We had a goal this week, many people played really hard to get it and that’s a nice thing.

If it matters I think SoR would beat TC straight up if there is no 3rd server that can keep their SEA down, among other things. Reverse chest-thump gogo.
