Fun fights in ET BL tonight ET.

Uh, you guys wouldn’t happened to have fraps’d some of those fights, such as the one in the jumping puzzle entrance, NW supply camp or center south island? We have a bad habit of forgetting.

Also, I smell nice.

KoM would like to thank the ET zerg on ET bl tonight for the fun. Lot of fun fights and both sides kept coming back for more. Hopefully we can have more nights like this before this tier separates.

Good fights at ET Bay over the last few hours. I can’t speak for them, but it sure was nice helping the 7 of them from [KoM] clean up the battle-signs that were your mini-zerg on a few occasions.

Once KoM left though, our treb was also definitely worth its weight in gold, I think it ended up taking out about 10 Cats/Cat sites. However, you should probably send escorts for your golem attacks. Your golem arrived at 75% health and waltzed over to our North gate with 2 friends; it didn’t survive. Eventually you wised up and brought the zerg over there, once you realized we had no supply left.

Guess this is the last week we’ll definitely be fighting you guys, hope we’ll get matched up again with you soon enough.

blargh. my internet has been crappy all weekend for some reason... i havn’t been able to enjoy the fights. i disconnected 5 times in a row saturday night, and sunday night when i tried to play, i lagged out and got killed, raised, and killed again (and raised again) before i even saw i took damage. i took that as my que to call it a night.
hopefully my internet gets fixed up soon and i can enjoy playing again

He is not really complaining, probably confused because he is one of those strange birds that would pass a perfectly good arrow cart to jump off a wall and attack.

You and I know better, its best to stay on the wall and use the arrow carts. I know you can understand how confusing trying to use your class can get, there are so many buttons and I never know when to press them so usually die, alot. Arrow carts cuts the number of buttons needed down to 1 thats the only button I normally use anyway but with an arrow cart the 1 key is really strong.

@the Yarr Thief and Ranger if they read the forums, I wanted to 2 v 2 when I backed up to reset and charge there were 5 people behind me sorry about that. Also to the thief it was funny watching you pick people off from HoD and ET zergs.

I’m gonna miss the Chinese human wave technique from HoD… until the next server from T7 shows up.

This thread sucks without drama and forum warriors going at it. I’ll just guess FC and ET don’t care this week and are just waiting for reset and for HoD to go away.

I thoroughly enjoyed the forum war. It was like a slow motion car crash. I knew it was going to be bad but I couldn’t stop watching. (spammed refresh button repeatedly)

In other news, what does everyone think of the WvW patch this week? Do you think T8 will attract more PvE people to WvW? There are fancy chests with a chance of “precursors” now.

While I have only been on FC for about a month now I have come to dislike HoD more than any other server I have faced in WvW. I have never faced a server that mistakes their coverage and numbers for skill and superiority so much like HoD does. I have never seen a server run so much from even or fair fights out in the open like HoD does. I have never seen a server go out of there way so much to chase down a smaller force (even 1 to 2 people) like HoD does. I have never seen a server emote so much like HoD does…of course this is normally after they have ran from a fair fight to the safety of guards/tower/etc or after they have ran down a group they outnumbered 4 to 1.

Prior to moving to FC I had been on SoR since the headstart. When ANet announced free transfers to lower population servers several weeks ago HoD was actually my top choice to transfer to. This was based on reading over the forums and the respect HoD was given there by their opponents. I am so glad I didn’t though. I don’t know if the make up of HoD changed because of the free transfers or because of their fall to Tier 8 or if this is how it has always been on there.

Anyway good luck versus your new opponents on Friday HoD, please don’t be in a hurry to return to Tier 8.

You realize that people on every server do what you described, right? You can’t just call out an entire server for the actions of a few. Well, I guess you can… but in which case you would be wrong.

Pretty hilarious, because I have the exact same feeling about FC and ET. Never have I seen more players run for the hills verses smaller number of HoD! Never before have I seen so many players emote on underlevels after zerging them to death… but wait… that would mean that this isn’t unique and centralized to servers that is opposed to mine? Oh God! My Immersion!

it disheartens me to read such posts like this. and the ones that have been deleted from these forums for “HoD bashing”

if a group of 5 people throw emotes..its consider the “servers fault” those 5 people laughed or sat or whatever. you cannot judge a whole server by a few actions. HoD, while having its egos, actually works very hard at trying to compete in WvW.

now do some people fall back from a fair fight? sure but in what way is it fair? because of numbers? maybe they are not confidant in there fighting ability. i have met many a player from multiple servers (ususally pugs or in a PvE guild) who are nervous to go against even numbers because they are not confidant in their PvP skills. that doesnt make them horrible players. that makes them inexperienced.

i also have rarely seen HoD truly “trash talk” yes there is some chest thumping here and there. but thats natural. FC does it, ET does it. we all do it. the forums are always filled with the “omg were in first place you kittening blow” or “zergs=no skill” show some respect.

also to counter your claim, i have never seen a server talk as much kitten as FC. so much bashing on threads for “pvwalling” or “hiding behind arrow carts” or whatever. its unnatural how much disrespect i have recieved in whispers or seen on multiple forums from FC when i personally have shown nothing but respect for FC/ET. .

regardless i rarely ever see positivity from FC. so i will also be glad to be rid of FC for a few weeks and face servers who do not whine as much and atleast can lose honourably

theres still a ton left in the week. LK is doing a lot of training this week for the new matchups so i hope to see FC/ET out there and gives us some good fights

PAXA is a part of HoD, it’s just the next logical step to vilify the entire server.

Haha! Funny part, I hopped in PAXA’s vent and they are some of the coolest guys, really chill, just love to run small groups and kill people…

FC – whichever T7 server comes down, can we just agree to 2v1 them all the time now and not wait until the forum posts start? ty
