Just got home and noticed we didn’t have a thread. Guess we’re all too busy fighting each other, so let the good times roll!!

Might seem weird to say, but I enjoy the lack of a thread because it shows a lack of trash talk. Scanning the match threads for a few weeks now I have to say this tier’s is my favorite forum-wise.

Didn’t see much of SBI tonight (looks like they were pushing hard in EB); but we got a lot of great battles with CD.

The only low point was that pedazzo de mierda thief that glitched into Crag and flipped it.

Next time you SBI guys have Izzy running with you, ask them to fix that rather than finding ways to make arrow carts replace ballistas LOL

Pretty sure he isnt serious considering half of those ss had a troll face. And Mag is far tamer now compared to before when they had Bunzy.

I don’t think anyone in this tier has quite forgotten that they’d be fighting over a game yet.

Anyway, reset night was good fun although I’m not sure what possessed me to stay on for another couple of hours ‘til reset and then actually play for a quite a while when I’d been up to 24 hours without sleep to begin with. I guess I’m getting old.

I was disappointed and happy at the same time that SoS traded with Maguuma and thus never fought them on our way down to tier four. If there was an official troll server in the game, they win the title. It looks like SoS might face them within the next four weeks if things keep going the way they’ve been going.

You only need to glance at the tier one thread to be reminded how crappy it is to be there, with all the guild drama and the frustration and low morale that losing guilds and first place can cause. Looks like JQ is an unpleasant place to be right now. It’s hard to feel like you’re doing worse off in tier four when you don’t have to deal with any of that stuff and still have a healthy meta without giant zergs running around every map.

ArenaNet should do more streams of their gameplay in WvW. It’s always nice to be able to see where the commanders are on SBI so you can get an early start on stomping out any sneaky business.

I find the lack of score updates and keyboard warriorism in this thread disturbing.

Had an awesome time fending off both SBI and SOS at SBI Hills last night. Was the most fun I’ve had in WvW in months. Thanks for the fun time everyone.

Is there any particular reason why SoS and SBI are avoiding each other to clear us off a map? Before somebody cries foul and says it isn’t happening let me point out that we are outmanned on EB, were attacking a tower held by SoS that they were defending, SBI comes in from behind and wipes us, then proceeds to move off in a different direction… namely chasing a few stragglers with a zerg. Have seen this at least 6 different times over the last week or so. Odd… very odd.

Yes, a big lol to Reikou from AdL for being SBi and jumping in CD teamspeak (30 minutes at least). I know yall been slipping down the past couple weeks but please dont tarnish your servers image. CD will be more than happy to show you how to come back with dignity.

Thanks. Don’t know who this is specifically but I will make a note of the guild and pass the info along. I honestly fail to see the benefit in a match like ours to ‘spy’ by invading another server’s TS. Seriously, what is gained by it? Doofus.

Except for a brief SoS BL breakout event last night, I mostly quartermastered on SBI bl. Good reset, everyone. Enough activity going on with SoS and CD to keep us hopping. Also, that underwater battle at center island was hella fun and good for the aquatic daily.

And dear little CD thief who kept so many of us chasing him around and groaning whenever and wherever he showed up: mad props, buddy. Seriously, you were a colossal pest but we were hugely impressed with your mastery of the class.

I didn’t catch a screenshot of the ele from [CaLM] doing it too. But I suspect that the ele was just mindlessly helping the necro in any case. It was really the necro that repeatedly kept going back there every time he got low health.

Not a big deal, but I think SBI cares about their reputation as much as CD and frowns upon any use of exploits.

Also Yohimbe, I think that thief graced us in SoS bl as well. He started into me and I called for help and my GM was “really, one thief?” then the thief started tearing him a new one before a few more came by to rescue us from indignity.

CD has some great individual players on it, if they ever get them all organized and moving in the same direction; there will be some great pain distributed in WvW.

You are correct, this is not how we do things nor do we condone that sort of behaviour. Me personally, I would ban the ip from TS etc and prevent the person from being able to join. Problem solved.

Thanks for your response, Danse! We’ve had hiccups by individual players between servers since this matchup, but both SBI and CD work to keep things classy. In gaming communities, these things happen, and I’m glad we’re all interested in a clean fight.

We’ve seen the servers work together to keep the fight fair. This has been one of my favorite matchups because of that. Also because SBI keeps us on our toes in combat.

Can anyone else not wait until CD drops a tier so we actually might have a chance to take the lead, instead of being pwnd every week for the past few months

It happens on every server. Not a localized thing. You don’t notice it on your server because you’re not fighting them. Let alone control them.

But if I saw the person doing it, I would report them. Easy as that.

And I would not build an AC from them. Nor give them one. Yeah, you can’t control people, but you can report, and give them less opportunities to cheat.

Sorry… we’re not dropping anytime soon. There is a pretty big point gap between us and Ebay. Unless we just don’t play at all for 3 or more weeks we’re locked into this tier. I personally stop watching the points and focus on the fights and strategy at the times I play.

Everyone does that. I still have kitten of a Kiwi player doing that in their BL.

Also, SoS had 2 person in our spawn point in EB too, from LeeT & LOD

Some people see things as exploits that others are happy to use. Just report people, send a message to the server leaders or GMs that are affected and play on.

The amazing over the wall AC users annoy me as well but I am not going to breach the code of conduct I signed to name them here.

Some very good fights this weekend. There was one SBI dagger/pistol thief who provided an excellent challenge. I think at least half of my fleet of 8 characters died to them at some stage over the 2 days.

Yes, many people use exploits. That doesn’t mean they’re accepted by the server’s community. Many guilds on CD will kick players when they are caught exploiting, SBI have done the same in the past. You can screenshot and reach out to kiwi’s leadership to see if they’re willing to help with the issue. But sitting around and claiming that “everyone does it” isn’t exactly helpful.

Absolutely. Today I came across a blatantly speed-hacking Necro on my server that I reported. He didn’t have a guild, so I assume it’s the one that people have reported to our community (and to ANet) before.

To echo Boak’s sentiment, exploiters are most certainly not welcome on CD.

Just now at the bridge by Langor some SoS pulled a few of us CD off the bridge into the gulch below. I don’t know if the mesmer who did it was the one doing the /laugh, but I wanted to post that I was laughing, too. It was a good pull.

This fight on this bridge is fun, regardless.

Thought i’d note that sbi has a major bot problem in ebg. Looks to be a bunch of charr rangers with guild tag… [PREP] I think, can’t really remember.

So while we’re on the topic of cheating. How long before the “We Are Prepared [PREP]” guild is going to stop ruining the WvW scene with their rampant multiclienting? Is this guild just one person with a bunch of accounts or what?

Would be nice when SBI players see them and not help them out either.

Don’t worry James SBI has known about it and has reported the bots. It’s all on ANet’s end now to sort out the botting players. There isn’t much we can do about it apart from spam report on them in the hope that ANet will notice

Oh believe me, we’ve seen them….it’s mega frustrating just because they add timers to EB when we could have viable players on the map rather than them just sitting at spawn or kittening around the map. In a way it’s flattering because it shows that we’re kitten someone off enough that they’d want to waste their time doing this, but at the same time it’s still mad annoying regardless.
