I really hate that we have to night cap, Honestly.

It’s something we have to do, If we want to achieve our goal and knock VZ out of t1 (What we made clear from the start) We toke an amay-zing break from t1, With Piken, JS and Kodash as enemies, And honestly the type of opposition we saw surpasses that VZ offer.

I respect VZ are setup as a server to win at any cost, There good at the meta game, Playing the points game, and they do alot within there server to encourage communication between Guilds.

However, SFR is pretty much the same. Except we want to fight and have those epic open field fights. And when needed to defend objectives. I feel VZ have been in T1 to long. And have been stuck on the fact Points mean everything, and will avoid fights just to do this. There pugs are weak as they encourage this type of behavior and have no idea how to fight as a unit.

SFR were bottom at the start of BWE3, And even on launch. It was taken over by Fubar Alliance in the hopes of been one of the top servers, Not just to win but play against the best. I’m glad to say most of the guilds and players are still here when we started that. And many other guilds who have been here for quite a-while as well.

Thanks for the match up, And don’t worry. We are not getting burntout any time soon

Viz got so big zerg that game my crashed. BSOD said that toobigzerg.dll is reason. Now i missed at least 30 loot bags.

Remember the example i used: imagine you have to charge a RG group, then after a ZDs, and again RG, with 30+ “pick up”. Its horrible to manage, horrible to manage morale, because you know you can’t kill a good group guild (or sometimes, but very rare) with this. Sometimes you have beginners, lvl 1, bad builds, kittenty stuff… never forget the commander when he has to ask Fifilepetitguerrier to do complex stuff or charge without fear versus a ZDs Norn screaming Russian things under his chapka with his vodka bottle near him. It’s too much for the poor Fifi.

Remember, never forget VS have guilds of course but a lot more “pick up” than you =)

Anyway, we lost a big night guild (MORT) 1 month ago, some offpeak commanders, and some burned out during last months -even me i’m almost out of energy- so it’s a little bit hard for us. But heh, we will do our best to come back =)

Those Russians are harsh . I spent near 11 years in a Russian guild sometimes chatting to a Siberian farmer, who drank alot of vodka. I still dont speak a word of Russian other than ‘Da’.

Hang in there though, those Russians are nice guys. and girls. well the girls are a bit harsher.

RIP had a blast last night on DESO BL – jumping between Bay and Hills, mostly fighting in and hear hills, several ninja caps, mesmers portaling people from all sides inside and so on – Glad to fight you guys there. There were some massive blobs in the move yesterday, makes skill lag horrible but as an overall experience very fun evening

I don’t know, may be this speedhacking vizuna thief on SFR border is part of the map and intended by Anet, but… how long he is here, about 2 months or more?

That thief is there for ages. Guildies of mine are reporting him every day.
Just put some confusion on him and you will be fine.
Or use some retaliation.

No other server can compete with you guys.

SFR, because VS has their morning/nightforce being countered by SFR enough for Desolation to actually do something.
The French also tend to take random weeks of “We’re going to take it easy”, no clue if that’s what’s happening right now or not.

You guys got holidays going on or so?

I think its a bit of column A and a bit of column B. We have a very good organization between various guilds, large and small, to vocer various maps and timezones.
As for the numbers, I can’t say for certain, but I don’t think we are that many more. We are, however, very well rested and refreshed after a few weeks in T2 and the larger guilds pull about 10 hours a day.
Still, it looks more interresting then it did a couple of weeks ago, when Vizunah was crushing T1.

yep, like i explained on french forums, it’s a lot of things, some here:

1) you are better than in the past
2) you got better coverage with migrations
3) the add of Piken is nice
4) your orga is now better
5) we lost a very big night guild (MORT)
6) we lost a lot of commanders cause of burnout/tired/wait for march patch
7) we lost offpeak people because it’s very hard to fight for example ZDs in the morning
8) Russian primetime is 3 hours before our, and when we are all eating our fromage, baguette and red wine (and a lot of afk spawn at 7-8pm gmt+1 grrr) mother russia is kicking our butt

All this mixed give this situation

We now try to work, find solutions, brainstorm.. it’s the game ! =)

I think every top server have the same problems. We can all thank to ANET for such situation.

I wonder what the servers will look like once the patch hits – influx of people in general due to checking stuff out.

You will keep morningcapping for a very long time so. Cause it’s not because we’re currently resting and don’t play for first rank that we’re going to let us drop down.

We can accept to lose our domination but we won’t for T1.

I hope vs really gets it together. I just want to see how they do in t1 now when there’s actually some competition. I mean, it is known that vs was superior due to morning hours and now when they actually are facing some competition in their “primetime” their morale has suddenly dropped.. yea that sounds kind of dull from me but that’s the case isn’t it? :/ I wanna see vizunahs A-game against SFR’s A-game!

Friend, we had many competition in the past (Deso with RUIN, SFR with PRX, Blacktide, Elona, Arborea, Far Shiver etc) and again, no it’s not due to morning hours. It’s like a recipe, there is a lot of other ingredients.

For the morale thing you are speaking about, it has started before the SFR comeback. We started to loose commanders for the reasons i said, we had internal problem (the reunion i made to solve it) we had a lot of burnout (a BIG amount) so yeah, the timing sux for us. Really. I described all reasons in my previous post

Morning had never been our primetime anyway ! to be totally clear, it was leaded by Tanaarth, a now burned out commander (he started to fed up like hmm 1 month ago), and there was 35-40 people with golems yes. A deso guy confirmed it by facing them everyday =) But it’s like the old Worms video you remember ? start with knife, response with uzi, response with bazooka etc. Thoses morning player could beat the sadly poor deso morning coverage, but now they can’t beat the 40 angry fresh ZDs.

For MORT, they were tired by huge primetime queues, so they decided to build their own thing and moved to Fort Ranik ! =) but they had a lot of offpeak commanders too, so again, ouch, hard for us.

We will do our best to keep the Vizunah you know, but it need work work work.

Not a bad thing to see some other servers raising, our domination started to be too important and many VZ players stopped WvW. Getting so many players involved and dedicated including during nights is not a long time effort, other T1 servers will realize it soon. Anyway, this is a good occasion for us to improve the server. If I were SFR I wouldn’t expect to succeed to keep VZ dual-focused on the long term, you will be the target soon.

It is always sad when a server loose a guild of friends who played together for long time
But tbh of all guilds u may loose u lost the right one. Lot of cheat and exploit from MORT.

It’s not like Vizu is playing vs 2 servers and getting dual “teabagged”.
SFR do not make pacts. We will fight everyone with everything we’ve got. We will focus you more though for obvious reasons. Payback is a B! for all MORT’s zoomhacks and other bs they were doing back in the day. We’re fighting Desolation on daily basis and lately they’ve been giving us more resistance than Vizu by dropping hordes of IRON’s on the map and backstabing us at every possible corner. Finally when you don’t have your lapdogs ER with you, you can’t focus the other server. From my point of view this is a healtyhy 1vs1vs1. Which you can’t handle right now. Looking forward for your tactical response.

As I said, if I were SFR I wouldn’t expect to not get dual focus anytime soon. Winning in WvW is an exciting time, many players are very motivated when you win. When you loose a lot of players simply drop from WvW. This is what happens on VZ atm. This is what will happen on SFR some day. One thing is sure about VZ : many players prefer now PvE, this is obvious. I am curious of WvW on the long term since ANet is redirecting players to PvE to avoid the WvW queues by giving the best stuff only out of WvW. But this is good to see other servers highly motivated by WvW still. We won’t give up that easily anyway, will it be enough for T1 ?

Sacxr is right. VS are plainly bad and we just like to wipe them here and there. They are not a challenge if the numbers are not 1vs 5 in their favour. And yes they have one good quality,they always come.
To be honest desolation are fun but IRON.. their idea of play is we drop 70 people get the map in queue and blob it is not fun but works for them even number we win vs them. Honestly piken with hob Rg Sin on the server were way more fun and competative to fight.
And I like Vz claims we rest ect… ok it is the second week you know we are here and it is monday we lead you with 40k honestly we have people who dont play now just chilling waiting for some fighting to start before log in. Because yeah we all know VZ use only siege and hide no open field fun.
So yeah we are here to stay and our goal is clear but to be done we need some help from other servers it does not mean aliance we just need them to be determined to fight for 1 or 2 place in eu rankings! If they do it VZ is done.

bulgarians? don’t think I’ve even seen your guild in game mate. we have some problems with rg when even numbers but that’s what they focus on, they dunno really how to play the rest of wvw. to each his own I guess, but we haven’t really had any problems with even numbers vs anyone else. well zd’s prolly, but they are most likely the best wvw guild in the game right now. and unlike rg zd’s kan take and hold objectives too. but the bulgarians? sorry no, we’ve never had any problems with you or I’d remember your guild tag.

It’s not the first time that VS is beaten in 6 mouths, but they never down in T2, so there is no reason to make migration.

u talk as ikittennow everything, assuming u jumped with the rest of bandwagon to SFR from Piken and talk like uve been in Tier 1 for ages.

If u dont wanna fight IRON, jsut go to a different BL, its quite simple, or go to EB, we never go there anyway.

I realy dont know if this is a mistake, but I shure your not in T1 because of this, I think the real responsability its from your organization, including the one you are the co-founder, atm VS isn’t playing at the level you can, don’t know why (ok we came back more stronger, but I think this not explains all).
