There was nothing on our side, I know some people wanted to asked Iron. And we said no. No-one of any real influence on SFR asked Deso for a “pact”.

I understand Desolation’s position on neutrality and trying to prove themselves as nobody’s lapdog, but forum posts from IRON members mostly just prove the opposite. What you are doing now is not neutrality and pride, it is just spite for SFR for weird reasons :

2) Bandwagon server – again, what is the problem? You were in the same position some time ago, you took advantage of it, your new guilds left, you rebuilt and moved on. Why the sudden hate on SFR? It’s not like SFR came from T8 suddenly. For the past 3-4 months it has been in T1-T2 and a force to be reckoned with, and it dropped to T2 out of it’s own decision nothing more. How about respecting that?

I think everybody recognizes Deso as a powerful server with skilled players and good guilds, there is no need for the tension. Some SFR forum posters are not that nice, but it’s usually isolated cases and rotten apples can be found on all servers.

Between SFR and VS there is another level of animosity and in my opinion both sides have contributed to this general tension with equal guilt. SFR calling names on VS and criticizing their tactics, VS calling SFR the worst server they ever fought and that it should never be put alongside Blacktide, Deso, FSP and other T1 contenders. It will probably never go away either and both servers hold equal blame.

There is just so much crap talked on these forums, including by me, that really 99% of it should be ignored. Insults get blown out of proportion etc etc.

There is no dislike or disrespect towards either Sfr or Viz especially from Iron. Ofcourse it may look like we have taken things seiously with our tactics at times but sometimes we feel the same way when looking at your tactics. But we have come to realise that we need to be having fun.

We realise we cannot compete with Sfr or Viz for coverage and numbers so we may as well just enjoy the fighting as much as possible and tbh the fighting in general has been great fun, thks to Wl and the majority of Sfr guilds. It is quite enjoyable not worrying so much about points and just doing erratic things.

I don’t particularly want to drop a tier as I love fighting Sfr (except when we get mowed down :p). But points are not everything atm. Our numbers on Deso seem to get smaller by the day, so here’s hoping the new patch refreshes things.

I really enjoyed the fighting tonight, especially a big fight of 12min on Astraholme, even if we didn’t manage to take it xD

Even i found it quit laughable afterwards when you SFR tried a bum rush and got wiped too over the same situation like you really needed a 3 way fight just to attempt a cliffside cap defended by originally a handful? many bags for Viz over that situation lol

Im guessing that was taken from yesterday.

If you had a choice of taking T1 structures over a T3 with VS style defending what would you choose? We came for your tower (cata in tunnel, trebs at ruin) we had 3 guilds focusing on it. But at that time with Deso having nothing to defend with it was a easy decision.

I’M surprised Deso didn’t show up to defend their home.

Look at the screen and tell me if we have a 2v1. Deso only have one tower in the 3 borderlands.

What will happen if another server pops up (unlikely due to monster servers needing thick concentration, not easy to have 2 of those), is that Deso will drop, not Vizu.

So what is SFR allowed to do anyway, Viznuah?

Lunch-capping is bad.
Night capping through PRX was also bad.
Getting Desolation borderland is also bad , according to some ( lolwut?)
Blobing is bad also, yea …and only SFR is the cause of all blobbing ( well known fact )
Being a gracious host for like-minded WvW guilds is also bad. ( altho VS has gathered 80% of the french community band wagonners, they somehow fail to mention that )

Most of us are fair players, it’s only 2 guilds (at least, but not that many) that work with SFR, (old allies from another server before they jump here ?). Creating a kind of “GW2 mafia” with the only goal to be the master of puppets (Obey your master ! yeah ! Metallica ftw <3 ) and share T1 with guild they choose as friend or foe.

I’m here since day one and respect most of the guild of Desolation, even late comers and Iron mainly because they never gave up. I’m pretty sure they won’t accept to be that kind of toy in the hand of SFR.

But that doesnt mean we shouldnt play the game and we will naturally abuse distractions and tactically “easy” objectives just like everyone else, if SFR is keeping the main VS force busy and the same the other way around.

That’s two in fact, and i’m close to one of them. But as i used to play fairly in every situation, i prefer being totaly honest with everyone and explain what is going on behind the curtain. I’m proud of what Desolation allready accomplished, but if T1’s cost is to be the dog of SFR and accept their “gift”, i prefer play against JS and ER.

Come on, do your homework ! There is no such thing as “evening capping”, it called “god almighty prime time, when the game is meant to be played, except when things get a bit harsher” ©SFR

Consequently, night capping might be known as “night capping was bad, and now it is morning capping, so lets do moar golems than defenders capping”, since last night !

Nice yesterday fights, it seems that more and more Vz players do assault missions against our siege and they try to do organized jumps on us with portals and stuff:)
I am starting to like that…..although i like some open field action the most.
I can see alot of QQ and trolling attempts from all directions ,so i wont bother to comment any:/

Jade Sea wont make it to T1 yet, it even might be Elona Reach who will make it back in 2 weeks, as next week they will have holidays.

Jade Sea has almost an as good coverage as Vizunah and they are a lot more agressive (that mean they don t wait off peak to attack “AND” fight in open field), but they will give up quickly the matchup if they get crushed during the week end reset.

I agree, JS is much more agressive and they fight in open field as well. We have fought so many servers……its not that we have something against Vz(hate or w/e), i respect their determination and siege tactic , but that’s all about.

It would be cool for them to come in T1, Sfr is a quite an annoying server, it’s not that funny to see you hide in keeps and then come out with a 60 players blob, at least it is a bit challenging in the night or at least when its the nights you are resting and thus when you only have 50 players blob.

Impressive numbers keep it up lot of bag and fun ahah you are the best at scoring point, but I see that start to go on some camp with only 40 people impressive progression guys!!
