Since 3 days, the Viz TS and the backup one is DDOS attacked during key-moments as primetime and match-up reset… and today it’s starting on guild TS’s.

What’s the next step? Accounts hacking? Antrax’ed post-mails?

It’s really going too far for… nothing.

Since 3 days, at the same hours, TS VS down, someone take control of moderator and random ban people, then backup TS down too, and now many TS of guilds DDOsed too… i’m very sad of this. Of course i don’t know who do this, one night i saw some french people insulting and trashing on maps then it crashed just after, dunno if it’s linked.

This is a game and should be taken as a game. It is a virtual world not a real life. It doesn’t matter how successful, how famous, how glorious a person / guild is in-game, once you turn off the computer they all are gone. I hope people who do these kinda acts, behaves like bunch of jerks would remember this.

You are making it sound as if WvW still were serious business and making me feel guilty i am doing jumping puzzles in Super Adventure Box thus betraying the server by not providing more firepower. I feel ya. our TS server have been the target for DDOS attacks several times over the last few weeks. even had a DDOS take down TS server provider and knock the entire company offline for a couple of hours. it happens mate. all you can do is hunker down and push past the obstacle.

Regarding the Ddos attacks, please PM me if u need help resolving it.

I recently came back to GW2. I started on Henge of Denravi in my guild Ginnunga [Gin] as part of the Titan Alliance. Transfered to Blackgate and then together with PrX we went to Seaferers Rest. Now I find myself in an odd situation. As everyone in PrX and Gin stoped playing i run with the PUG. That being said, I know wvw and how to follow. Im fully geared and I do my part.

2 things needs to be said:

the SFR pug seems to me atleast to be suprisingly coordinated, atleast compared to how it was on HoD. So i think they diserve some cred and not the hostility.

The commanders are doing a very very good job to coordinate people that are not on TS. ( I have not been able as I am currently out traveling in Asia and my internet is somewhat restricted). But its very easy to follow and help.

That being said, reading this boards i feel a hostility, I have not yet found a new home guild. As I am trying to catchup, account got hacked before they implemented the “account restore thingy”. And they salvaged and sold everything I had, badges, sets, jewelry, crafting mats.

So I just want to speak out for the pug, some of them are not people who just transfered in on a bandwagon, some of us just wants to shoot people in th face.

Well it seems it’s not a vindictive attack from sfr or deso as other servers with TS are experiencing the same problems with their TS servers.

Perhaps switch to ventrilo or any other voice chat server.

Bliz, it seems like a general issue with TS, not just for this game – people elsewhere are complaining too.

Our guild TS went offline for a few hours before reset only coming back 15mins before apparently in this situation the provider was doing maintenance, but i do know lot’s of people have the feeling that some times it’s more than a coincidence that TS crashes etc at vital moments and tbh if their are dos attacks it would originate just like hackers to either an individual or small group of rouges that don’t represent a server community and in effect could be a disgruntled player on our own servers only the perpetrator really knows who he/she is and their motives.

Nobody is saying it’s Sfr doings. Well as you said it would be ridiculous to assume anything like this.

There are facts, which are servers being attacked. Main, backups, guilds ones.
But we don’t know who is behind this (and won’t unless he/they are really careless) and we can only suppose why.

Yeah this week has been really awesome so far. Let’s hope all 3 servers stay close in score as long as possible. The shifting focus of all the 3 servers has been nice to play in.
