Congratulation to the guild Turns up [TP] fom kodash for using obvious hack… Impossible to stomp these guys (I hadn’t’ blind or anything, and I tried 3 times in a row).

They just ignore it, heal until they can get up, and run.

I think we can agree that they aren’t that great or skilled (and what not); If one or many of them did use an exploit there’s nothing to defend.

What has happened many times to my enemies, allies and even myself is getting downed in places which either glitch the character into the ground (can neither be stomped nor resurrected by allies), or the character shows up in the wrong spot (also unable to be stomped and rezzed if you don’t find their “correct” location). This has been a documented issue for the last months now, and still hasn’t been fixed (properly).

“Blind” does not prevent you from a successful stomp btw, so you’re good to go with the condition on you while stomping.

So I think it’s not a glitch from the map, but a hack, in order to prevent ennemies to get point (bloodlust).

And thanks for the information. I’m sometimes confused between being down (where blindness has an impact) and being about to stomp

The situation you describe sounds just like what my friends and I experience rarely. Cleave or AoE damage on top of the downstater usually helps (but unfortunately does not grant bloodlust score) to finish them off.
As I said, if some player uses exploits, he or she must be punished for it. Unfortunately there is an issue with the game itself which sometimes leads to such situations in which you cannot successfully stomp someone (even if the “stomp” action shows up).

If you are sure someone uses exploits or abuses glitches, you should write to <exploits@arena.net>, the time stamp when it happened, where it happened, further information like guild tag, player description (rank, race, profession, …) and so on, with screenshots or video proofs attached (if possible). I heard that this might be the most reliable way to inform anet about exploits, glitches and cheaters.

Maybe you should simply talk to the [TP]-Leader (NeeW.7865) before you start blaming a whole guild for things, few people might have done or not.
As maeggle said, there might be so many kinds of bugs/glitches/whatever in that game … it doesn’t have to be hack all the time. ^^

That’s normal when this bug occurs, you always get the stomp option. But actually it’s super rare that this bug occurs, so

sounds like it happened all the time with those guys. But nevertheless, you should have just reported them.

On a side note: Kodash players are usually the first to cry about hacks and/or bugs in the german forum, so it’s pretty fun to read all that “don’t blame a whole guild/server” – stuff from exactly the same people. :p

It has happenned today on Kodash BL at 1:10 am, and he was alone. A ranger, between Redlake and Shadaran.

And how am I supposed to bring proof ? A screenshot doesn’t show anything : only a video could be useful but I don’t want to fraps my game h24…

Ok, it might be a bug, but a super rare bug then. It’s the second time it happened in 5 weeks of fights… I call it a hack because the first time I encountered this problem, it was with members of a guild known to use hacks.

ok, no problem. But remember I can’t know every guild leader in the game, so posting here was the easiest solutions
Same problem with the “don’t blame a whole guild”. I can’t know the name of the player I’ve met !

now you blame our whole server … doing exactly what youve been blaming us for. congrats for that awesome piece of argumentation.
i never complained about any other guy from any other server to do anything like this. but i know the guild, which was blamed in here, and i also know that these guys are not hacking anything at all.

whatever. i will simply tab back into game ^^ see you on the battlefield.

hmm, would be new to me that we [TP] would take advantage of game bugs or cheating. I beg to get a prove!

Wow! Such many many triumphant /laughs after a masterful showing off of 2v1 smallscale skillz! I mean of course 2 French guys against one, not the reverse that actually would warrant it, silly.

But nice to see that French people see themselves as 0.5 a Kodashi. I take it as compliment.
