WvW – Structure Upgrade Re-Work idea!
WvW – Art of War Guild Buffs & Keep Claiming Re-Work idea!
For better readability i think we can use a “form” type of topic names now since we have separate sub-forum with match-ups topics.
Region – Date – Match-up
EU – 5/31/2013 – Red/Blue/Green
Edit: NA peeps are posting it that way but EU didn’t so thats why i posted this topic.
with the new matchup system and there being no tiers, could we add a server ranking code to the end of the topic titles? something like
5:7:12
based off the server name order. this will give an idea of how off balance the match up is
now for the real question
DD/MM/YYYY or MM/DD/YYYY?
grabs popcorn
Actually should be 1st/2nd/3rd for the server listing .. Green/Blue/Red .. but otherwise yes
now for the real question
DD/MM/YYYY or MM/DD/YYYY?

Definitely has to be DD/MM/YYYY :-P
Real timestamps are non-2038-safe 32-bit Epoch times.
All of this DD/MM/YYYY or MM/DD/YYYY stuff is pure blasphemy.
I vote for emoticons:
1 st place gets a unicorn rainbow
2 nd place gets a lucky charm
3 rd place gets a chocolate chip cookie
Who’s with me? Anyone? No one? Come on, people, we need moar color on these boards
@Yohimbe ok you are right. We need more colors.
No no no…
The ISO standard says YYYY-MM-DD. Also, the standard for pixels is “0x<red><green><blue>” or “#<red><green><blue>” we should use both together.
Example for the first “tiers” of Europe:
EU 2013-05-31 0xERVSJS (or #ERVSJS)
EU 2013-05-31 0xSRDEKO (or #SRDEKO)
EU 2013-05-31 0xBBARAM (or #BBARAM)
See? Totally readable. Standards are good!

Do we really need the year? We all know its 2013
Put / between the servers and I vote yes.
NA 05-31 JQ/SoR/BG – 1/2/3
NA 05-31 ET/SF/HoD – 24/19/23
I like the ranking too
Well, the fact that it was readable was sarcasm.
I don’t care about standardization of this topic at all. I’d say the more original one topic name is, the best it is. I’d accept standardization only if Anet created all those topics along with the reset.
Also, a personal preference: use long server names.

Ha! I wish they would…

Should be
YYYY MM DD for better ordering
Even better would be
YYYY-WW
(WW is week as on millenium.org, yes I know they use a wrong week, but having the same mistake is better than having a mistake and a correct version)

NA 05/31 EBay | BPass | ARock
nA 3105 E$$B$$A
Simple, to the point, and eye catching.

I like it but could you give an example including my rankings suggestion?
